Jo, Swedish people, you have had this all this time and never talked about it? This is literally perfect.

This is the level of organized I want to be.
What April 2023 was like + May 2023 goals
What I learned in April 2023:
I suck at time management and I really need to do better lol.
What I accomplished in April 2023:
Survived my finals, and finally solidified a friend group :)
What surprised me in April 2023:
That letting of go of people isn't that big of a deal. After I distanced myself from some really toxic people in my class, I found a new group of friends who I genuinely like to be around, and they're all smart and hardworking, and I didn't expect that this would be coming honestly. Its great.
The day I remember best in April 2023:
My math exam. I completely flunked it and felt really bad that day. I think it really pushed me to take things more seriously.
The person that played a huge role in my life in April 2023:
My mom: Constantly motivating me, and talking to me about the world. We're so open and I love that she can listen to me and have a discussion without being judgemental.
My best and worst moments of April 2023:
Best moment: the day I FINALLY managed to go out with my friends to the mall to go shopping and get boba. After being cooped up inside the house for so long it was very refreshing.
Worst moment: completely botched my math final. I kept putting off studies saying I'd do it later, and it came back to bite me in the ass.
What I wish I had done differently in April 2023:
Planned my time a little better around studying. for my next semester, I'm starting all my assigned reading in May (during the holidays), and I'm looking into getting a tutor for math.
What I stopped doing in April 2023:
I really cut down my junk food intake which I'm really happy about, plus I've stopped staying up till 2-3 AM. It's been a while since I got a total of 8 hours of sleep, and it felt so good.
What I started doing in April 2023:
I've surprisingly started drinking more water, and restarted the gym again, in the last week.
Goals Iโd like to achieve for May 2023:
More practice, practice, practice. Since I'm having holidays, I'm planning on going outside more and just sketching and doing crafts and writing stories.

Investing in yourself: How to romanticise school and study effectively โโกโงโหโง
Hey there, girlies! Are you struggling to find the right study habits to help you succeed? Don't worry, I've got you covered! Today, we're going to chat about how to make school and studyingย much more bearable and effective.
Part 1: Romanticising school
School's a marathon, not a race. If you want to do well in your studies, you'll have to build a consistent study habit, and there's no better way to do that than making studying enjoyable. If you like studying (or at least don't find it to be a painful chore!), it'll make sticking to a regular study schedule much easier.
1. Set the scene: create your aesthetic study space
First things first, let's talk about your study space. If you're gonna be spending hours with your nose buried in books, you might as well make it cute and cozy. Decorate your desk with fairy lights, candles, and inspirational quotes. Add some plants for that extra touch of zen.
2. Make a study playlist: set the mood with music
There's nothing like a good playlist to get you in the zone. Create aย study playlistย with your favorite calming tunes or lo-fi beats. Let the music transport you to your own little world of learning. Just try not to sing alongย tooย loudly, or you might forget what you're studying.
3. Take pretty notes: color code your way to success
Nobody said your notes have to be boring. Get your hands on someย colorful pens, highlighters, andย sticky notesย to make your notes pop. Not only will it make studying more enjoyable, but it'll also help you remember better.
4. Breaks: treat yourself
It's important to take regular breaks to avoid burnout. Take a short break every 45-60 minutes to recharge and refocus. Don't forget to also schedule longer breaks to stretch, grab a snack, or watch an episode of your fave TV show. Reward yourself for your hard work with a treat or face mask.
5. Find your study squad: friends who study together, slay together
Studying doesn't have to be a solo mission. Find your study squad and make learning a social event. Host cute study dates orย virtual study sessionsย with your besties. You'll be able to help each other out, share tips, and have a good laugh together in between all the learning.
Part 2: Studying effectively
Now that we've made studying enjoyable, it's time to make it effective. After all, having a regular study schedule isn't going to do much if you're not getting much progress despite all the hours you spend studying.
1. Make a study schedule
One of the most important aspects of developing good study habits is setting a regular study schedule. This will help you establish a routine and make studying a regular part of your day. Determine what times of day you're most productive and schedule your study sessions accordingly.
2. Use active studying techniques
Rather than just reading and memorizing information, practice active learning by engaging with the material in a variety of ways. Take notes, draw diagrams, create flashcards, or teach the material to someone else. This will help you better understand and retain the information you're studying.
3. Stay organised
Staying organized is key to developing good study habits. Keep track of your assignments, deadlines, and study materials in a planner or digital app. Use color-coding or labeling to keep your notes and materials organized and easily accessible.
4. Get enough sleep
Finally, getting enough sleep is essential for developing good study habits. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep each night to help you feel refreshed and alert during your study sessions. Avoid staying up late cramming for exams, as this can actually hinder your ability to retain information.
Remember, everyone has their own unique way of studying effectively. Experiment with different techniques and find what works best for you. With these tips, you'll be well on your way to success! Good luck, gorgeous!

Hi Amy,
do you mayeb have some tipps on how to work more productively and for longer? I have to turn in my bachelor thesis in three weeks and I'm really struggling to meet the deadline because I just loose all motivation and concentration after about six hours. I already use the pomodoro method.
hey love! first of all the fact that you're using the pomodoro method is great! i know you're struggling right now with motivation, but once you get that motivation and keep using this method ur gonna do amazing!
during your breaks take time to destress. practice mindful breathing, get some water, walk around, do something that's beneficial to your mind and stress levels.
visualize. another good thing to do during these breaks is to visualize success. visualizing finishing your thesis and being proud with it.
make a good environment to work in. play really soft music if it helps, clear your space, light a candle, get a healthy snack, just whatever makes your environment better to be in and to work in.
be proud of your progress. when you do get work done keep thinking positively and being proud of your work.
if you can maybe put aside your work for one day, then get back to work the next. taking a break might actually help you reflect and feel more motivated to get stuff done.
i hope this will help :) wishing u the best of luck!!!- amy <3
Long hair is really pretty and you can shape it into super fun hairstyles
But Iโm a lot more comfortable with mid length to short hair and to me that is a lot more fun because I can headbang easily and it looks super cute on me and I need less color when dyeing it ^^
