AT LAST! A NEW DOCTOR WHO COVER! This is the first one I’ve done in about a year, with original lyrics, and it’s especially surreal and cool because this is a cover of the as-yet-unnamed track I originally sang myself in the episode “The Angels Take Manhattan.” Music by Murray Gold, I did the words.   Alivia just looked up at him. She wasnt sure if it was in awe that she was actually meeting him or terror that she was actually meeting him. He was a phantom to everyone in the opera house, except her. He was her angel. Her angel of music that her father promised to send. “You’re very skilled” she commented and looked down. She bit her lip.

"Did you enjoy the performance tonight?" she asked and looked up at him, trying to fill the silence.

He resisted looking back at her, he resisted giving into her praise because she didn’t mean it. Nobody ever meant it. Instead he stayed silent even though her question. He hadn’t very much enjoyed the performances in many years. For that alone, he should be paid more than he was. “Carlotta was singing,” he finally said. “I think that is answer enough.” It was true, he couldn’t stand the little toad and he wished to do something about it. 

The corridor finally let out into a dimly lit lake, well the edge of one anyway, that span the entire underbelly of the opera house plus some. It was his labyrinth, his home, where he was king. There was a boat on the edge and he swept his cape aside, allowing her to pass.

He was tall. That's all she could tell. Tall and a sort of deep voice. Half his face was covered though. She tilted her head to the side. To hide himself or . . . is it he simply was disformed or ugly? She looked away and played with her hair slightly, pulling a few strands out of the tightly wound curls.
