back when slippery slopes mentioned noah being on quiz shows my first thought was about when he was on Skatoony ngl

This. This is the post that made me spend all day reading slippery slopes. I innocently stumbled upon it while looking through Noah content. My first thought was, “what the fuck is Skatoony?”, and then I watched clips from it and was mildly amused. My second thought was, “what is slippery slopes?”. So I looked it up and found a fanfic. It was long, and was alenoah which isn’t really one of my number one ships, but I had the day off for some city council vote so I had time to kill, and it was a rewrite of world tour which I always love, so I decided to give it a shot.

What the fuck.

This is the single most show-accurate and heart wrenching thing I’ve ever read. The characters, the dialogue, the slow burn. Oh my god. There were so many backstabs and twists and misunderstandings and romantic tension and - OH MY GOD.

I was stimming and pacing and had to take several breaks just to calm myself down enough to read it. This fic Single handedly took Alenoah from a ship I hardly cared about at all, to completely obliterating Noco and making it my number one ship of the show now. In a single day.

I am going to be thinking about this fic for the rest of the week at least. Maybe the month. Maybe a year. I don’t know. It’s my canon now. It is everything to me. I want this fic to have its own fandom so I can read fanfiction based off of it. I want to punch Chris square in the jaw and make him go back in time and not change the rules at the last second so Team Chris can win in London and Noah and Alejandro can have a rivalry that lasts longer than an episode.

So yea, thank you op for introducing me to the single greatest total drama fic I’ve ever read in my entire life. With an off handed comment about Skatoony. I am forever in debt to you.

- MKKKKKK UGH she is so GOOD I love her so much, she REALLY reminds me of Noah but is also so much more schemey and driven I <3 her. Alenoah fankid.

- I pretty much expected Nichelles plotline but she was very funny this ep. Also since they set her up to actually be pretty smart when it comes to challenges last ep I wonder if that’ll come back in later seasons

- also hey Emma wtf she may be a lil more fucked in the head than I thought, I mean she was more concerned about Chase not following the rules than she was about him CUTTING HER BREAKS. It makes sense since she was apart of a prank channel but still

- Chef this season reminds me a lot of Dramarama Chef, being a lot more fun and goofy than mean and serious, I love him

- Zee is just so???? Nice???? All of the time???? I love him, and I love that he got more screen time this ep he was so good, especially at the end

- SCARY GIRL AND DAMIEN BEST FRIENDS I LOVE THEM <33 the most fucked up little creature and the most sane and normal person there I’m eating it up

-Bowie is so funny this ep I stg

- Wayne is actually a very good player?? Which I really wasn’t expecting, since most jocks in total drama usually just fall into the “dumb jock” category, but he really carried the team this episode he was awesome. And his friendship with Raj is beautiful

- Nichelle is actually pretty competent as well, which I wasn’t fully expecting either. But she did very well this challenge. Also “IM famous, I have no idea who SHE is” is iconic

- Keeping my eye on Julia she seems pretty sus, I mean she was always sus with her crystal influencer persona but still

- Love how ruthless Emma was toward Chase this ep, and how Chase thinks she’s still into him even tho she’s celebrating over beating the shit out of him. Worried it’ll cost her the game tho

- very sad about Axel going home so soon, I hope she doesn’t get done dirty like Eva and never goes far in the game again. Also I want her to beat the shit out of ripper it would be fun, I feel like they were building up a fun back and fourth and I’m sad it didn’t play out

Ok ykw im just gonna start posting my reactions to the new TD season as I work my way through it.

Here’s thoughts on ep 1 (spoilers below cut)

- Ok I actually really love Damien right off the bat, the fact that he is the only one who has no idea what he’s getting into is hilarious

- Also Scary Girl she is so HEE HEE HOO HOO

- what Millie is doing is very fucked up but also yea I’ve totally met people who try to psychoanalyze everyone around them and pretend they’re better in some way because of it so I am very much looking forward to whatever payback she faces for her actions

- found the challenge a little weird and confusing?? Felt a little more difficult to wrap my head around than first ep challenges usually are, but I like the return to less elaborate and more obstacle coursey challenges

- Bowie is wonderful he is completely into the game already, and his friendship with Emma is so good already. I actually really like how a lot of characters are already scheming since they know what the show is like, which is something I didn’t really see when new casts were introduced in past seasons :/

- ALSO I LOVE MK SO MUCH, she’s like a more competent Noah I hope she makes it pretty far

- what the actual fuck is wrong with you Chase like what the hell YOU CUT HER BREAKS?????

- Feel pretty bad about Caleb going home first since he didn’t really do much, I get Bowies line of thinking and I think his early elimination really shows off how strategic the other players are already thinking but I hope he has a comeback in a later season (maybe as a vilian pretty please 👀)
