We all have intentions on moving forwards. Whether it be financially, academically, spiritually etc. Striving towards progression is the major priority.
Ask Yourself This Question:
How exactly do you progress? What standards must be met and is their a particular formula/process in which you would need to incorporate within your daily life in order to move ahead?
Progression, is simply a series of events which inevitably need to occur. The most important aspect of this process is change/growth, or a revolutionary mindset. Whether it be change of scenery, circle of friends, or a lifestyle adjustments. Alterations are vital in the midst of moving forth.
After change takes place, what is next?
The next phase to take place would be bridging the gap between each perspective point. For example, you would not give a child whom can not read a book with wordings solely, but you would give them illustrations so they can comprehend and gain a better understanding of what is being read/displayed. The same mindset applies within the process of progressing. In order to reach that next plateau, you must formulate a plan. Plan with the intent of implementing each step cohesively into your life.
Lets further look into Luke 14:28-33 in its context:
“ For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ Or what king, going out to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and deliberate whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? And if not, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks for terms of peace”
When planning ahead, you need to fully observe what you intend on reaching at the end. Envision your goal and then incorporate that into the planning(brainstorming) stage. If your particular vision take money, you would first need to create a budget If money proves to be strenuous reach out to local agencies/create an indie gogo campaign, or fund raise. Next step is to begin setting the structure for your elaborate plan. Often at times, we tend to skip over most of the processes which prove to be beneficial to developing your character. We feel that we can easily reach our goal without incorporating what was learned previously.
Take into account what God has envisioned for our lives. We were all created for a particular purpose. Each road is not the same, but through God the answer to each obstacle is the same. Faith, hope, and implementation of His teachings. We often forget to mention that the process of reaching from a higher height is difficult. Success has been a daunting task, but to process from beginning to end has major benefits. That we may have to face a couple of trials, or maybe take a bruising to get not where we want, but where we need to be. Often our perception of where we want to be is extremely the opposite of where we need to be.
Preparation can be a tedious process, but continue to strive towards the completion of your goal. Continue to plan, observe, and implement. Great works are on the horizon.
