I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the first female lead project for the new dcu has gotten barely any promo. Not only that but when there is promo it’s all about the male characters.
Why the fuck does lobo have a popcorn bucket before supergirl, the literal main character. Why is Jason Momoa the first (and main) person they show in red carpet clips, instead of Milly Alcock, the main actress.
When it comes to female characters dc genuinely doesn’t care about them, it doesn’t matter how popular said character is they will always prioritize men.
Men use violent language when referring to sex (“bang”, “smash”, “crack”, etc) and made female receiving acts into degrading phrases (“suck my dick”, “get fucked”, etc). Yet, somehow, people can’t seem to understand why so many young girls/women are scared of losing their virginity.
