"Oh Geeze... Finally got this thing back in working order..." Hunter said, sighing. 'Ye, after the accident... I'm glad you could fix your little doohickey.' "By accident, you mean placing it under a boulder and crushing it." 'You say tomato, I say... Well I say tomato too.'
Hunter yawned a bit as he played around with his fixed slingshot, hitting a tree a few times. "Man, it's boring in the digital world..." 'No it isn't! There is plenty to do like.... Er... Like...' Veemon sighed. 'Yea, it's boring.'
"I am seriously wondering if I should go explore with you right now..." 'Really? Ok then, let's go-!' "I said wondering." 'Awwww.'
"Veemon, why did you break my slingshot?" 'I'm booooored!' "Well so am I, but I don't break your things do I?" 'I don't have anything for you to break!' "...well played Veemon, well played..."
"...kinda boring around here..." Hunter said as he tried to tie a couple of sticks together, in an attempt to form a slingshot. 'Ya know, we could go-' "Don't you DARE say explore! I had enough of exploring with you when we got stalked by a tree!" '...exploring!' Hunter glared at Veemon. '...I didn't say explore, I said exploring!' Hunter face palmed as he finished his slingshot.
Team Reunite - Diligence!
He spins to face the two and snap a reply, when something catches his eyes. He points at itâŚ
A seafoam green object appears amongst the data, hovering in the air.
"Girl⌠Whatever your name was⌠Grab that," he says, raising his Digivice to check what it isâŚ
"Crest of Diligence," he comments, "Certainly not for me."
Bre looked at the green crest. âItâs Bre⌠and alright. Grump.â She searched for her Digivice, and when she did, she pointed the screen to the crest. âLike⌠like this-?â
The crest got sucked into her digivice, and Floramon looked at the digivice and then to her partner. <âHuh. I guess so, partner!â>
"Seems there are more crests out there than just mine... Your lucky Bre." Hunter places Veemon over his shoulder, and takes his crest out of his pocket, and smiles. "I wonder if that means we will all get one eventually... That would be cool."
Team Reunite - Diligence!
Chris closed his eyes, and spun to face the other direction, arms crossed.
"You know what?! Fine! Donât expect my help, Sikey, until you transform like the flower!"
<âPummel Peck!â>
Instead of sending more mini kiwis, it was an actual pecking. This really damaged the Chamelemon and killed it, causing it to disappear. Ae reverted back to her normal Floramon form. <âHuh. Mustâve been a weak one.â>
Bre gave Chris a disgusted look. âHey, please donât talk to your friend like that.â
"that was awesome...!" Hunter shook his head to clear it, and realized what Chris had said to Sikey. "Hey Chris, these things may not be 'alive'... Well maybe not to you... But ya can't push them. Maybe in this 'game' they can only transform at certain moments." Hunter said, picking up his weakened partner, Veemon, in his arms.
Team Reunite - Diligence!
Veemon panicked as he was hit by the laser, said laser sending him flying back. Hunter rushed to his partner, worried. âVeemon, are you ok?â âIm fine⌠I just need to⌠Lay down.â The Veemon fell to the ground, out of energy. Hunter had a shocked expression as he saw the digivolution of Floramon to Kiwimon. âWohâŚ!â
Chris goes wide-eyed at Floramonâs digivolution.
"Come on, Sike, do what the plant did!" he orders, "Youâll probably die if you don-"
"I-Iâm tryingâŚ! I just canât do it!"
"Wha�"
Chamelemon growled and lunged at Ae with a Tail Swipe, but the Kiwimonâs strong legs propelled her back, and she opened her mouth.
<âPummel Peck!â> she cried out as she sent little Chibi Kiwimon to attack Chamelemon. It swiped again ignoring the pain and at Kiwimon, who got damaged.
She decided to deliver a kick, and did with a <âTake this!â>
"Holy cow...!" Hunter could only watch the exchange between the two fighting digimon in surprise. "Well the odds seemed to have changed in our favor..." He smiled as Veemon weakly looked at the battle. 'Huh...? What's going...?'
Team Reunite - Diligence!
Sikey hits the ground with a thud. He gives Chamelemon an uneasy look, unsure if it will strike him or not. He canât fight the virus back, that much is obviousâŚ
He just cowers back, much to Chrisâ despair.
[âWide Eyes!â]
The Chamelemon cried out as it shot its gaze at Veemon and shot a heated laser at him. It then looked towards Bre and rushed at her, with said digidestined paralyzed in fear.
<âLook out!â> Ae cried out as she tackled the frail partner to the ground as Chamelemon overshot the rush. It turned around and rushed at Sikey.
<âYou alright?â> The Floramon asked as she got off. âY-yeah⌠thanksâŚâ

Well, that helped grow bonds, didnât it? Good enough that the digivice glew and activated itself, making the owner shocked.
<âFloramon digivolve to⌠Kiwimon!â>

The new flightless bird digimon landed and cawed, causing Chamelemon to turn its attention to her.

Chris is struck with horror, seeing his partner flailed about⌠And freezes up.
"P-Put me down!" Sikey panics.
Everything is clearly going according to plan. It would be absolutely silly to think otherwise.
It hit Veemon in the face with his tail just as he did with Sikey. It tickled to the overgrown lizard. [âAlright, you want to be put down?â] It crowed. [âAlright⌠Iâll do itâŚâ]
It raised Sikey up⌠when it got a Rain of Pollen in the face and sneezed, letting the Psychemon go by the force of the sneeze.
[âGah! You stupid plant!â] It growled.
<âLeave them alone!â> Ae cried out as Bre gave a look similar to unnerved disappointment.
"Aenoâ
'Ow!' Veemon reeled back in pain, his hand on his face. "Veemon! Are you okay?!?" Hunter looked at his partner with worry visible on his face. 'Im fine, but this lizard won't be! take this, green freak! VEE HEADBUTT!' Veemon shouted as he struck Chamelemon with an intense headbutt.
Team Reunite - Diligence!
Sikey shakes his head.
"Alright. I guess you just want me to jump in and do whatever attacks I feel fit?" he asks.
"You know me too well," Chris replies, "Go do it."
And, with that, Psychemon rushes at Chamelemon, letting out a flurry of his own weak (though still the strongest he can muster) attacks.
The armor made the attacks not work much; Chamelemon had a bit of scratches, but they were shallow ones. [âTongue Lashing!â] it gurgled as it grabbed Sikey by the waist(?) and spinned him around as it lashed out at Sikey withÂ
Bre nodded. âAlright Ae⌠we can do this!â
<âRight!â> the Floramon answered as she put a flower to a point. <âRain of Pollen!â> she commanded as she sent out pollen at Chamelemon as it got ready to attack.
Good distraction technique, not good as a move. It only made it sneeze.
Hunter smiled as he saw a chance to attack. "Veemon, get it now!" Veemon charged at the Chamelemon, eager to start attacking it. 'Alright then! Vee Punch!' He began to spin his arms in circles, rapidly hitting Chamelemon multiple times. 'Take this ya big green lizard!'
Team Reunite - Diligence!
"Tired?! Come on, Hunter, your little girlfriend here needs your help," he snaps back at him, "Weâre just gonna go in, kill this thing, and get the rest of the team, okay? Make it quick, who knows what the others are going through."
He looks at Bre.
"Youâre going to help too, right? Hidingâs not gonna do us any favors."
"W-what?"
Bre gave him a bewildered look, and then sighed. âAlright⌠but why? That thing seemed quite tough!â
"I am just going to ignore that comment. But yea, your right. I'm sure we can take a chameleon down easily. We just took down a living tree, so it can't be that bad." Hunter smiled, while Veemon sighed. 'Out of one battle and into another. I Guess I'll help then.'
Team Reunite - Diligence!
Chris sighed.
That kid should speed up a bit. Bit more pep in step, more quick in his⌠I donât know! he thinks, It canât be safe to spread a small duo out this muchâŚ
Then he saw Bre, and ran up to her, ignoring whatever she had been trying to do -
"You! Donât remember if I introduced myself or not. Nameâs Chris, leader of the team, you need to get with us, no questions asked!" he spews, "Now, whatâs going on?!"
His Psychemon gives Ae an embarrassed and awkward smile.
"⌠Donât mind him, uh, do you need helpâŚ?"
Bre nodded. Her hands were pretty much shaking, but she tried to be brave. âYyeah, right⌠just a giant lizard around, thatâs allâŚâ
<âYep!â>
Hunter and Veemon walked into view. "Sorry bout that Chris, I guess I got a little distracted." Hunter smiled nervously, while Veemon looked at him. 'I thought you just got tired.' Hunter sighed. "What he said."
Sikey nods, and heads over to the rock - Chris seems confused at first, but he still realizes what theyâre doing, conveniently before his partner can begin work.
"Hunter, are you sure a horn on a rock will make a spark?" He asks, "I thought you needed some sort of metal. Iâve got a ring, and I want in on a bit of the fun here, too!"
Cue him taking a ring out of his pocket - scratched, and perhaps one size too small for him, it seems to have seen better days.
"Sike, try this!" He calls, throwing the small ring to his partner, who rushes to retrieve it, "Wouldnât be surprised if thatâs made of steel - cheap metal for a cheap ring, right?"
And, with a few strikes to the rock, a sparkâs madeâŚ
âOh right! Good call Chris.â The Woodmon had Veemon in its grip, slowly siphoning his energy, when suddenly it let him go, the spark having lit itâs body on fire as it ran around, panicking. Veemon got up and smiled, seeing his chance. âNow then, letâs finish ya off!â He charged at the Woodmon, and called out his attack as he finished it off. âVEE HEADBUTT!â The Woodmon screamed in pain as it turned into data. âAlright! Nice job guys!â Hunter smiled as he looked at the data infront of him. Meanwhile, Veemon had run up to Sikey, and raised his hand in the air for a high five. âNice work dude!â
Sikey returns the high five.
"You did great too!" he cheers back.
Amongst the data, a strange, orange item appears - Chris seems puzzled, and checks his Digivice.
"⌠These little gadgets are useful, you know. Seems like they have all the information we needâŚ" he comments, "Like this thing here - Crest of Conclusiveness, to be worn in some âtagâ thing by-"
He pauses a moment.
"Well. I⌠guess itâs yours," Chris says, "Iâm no thief, you take it."
"Huh... Ok then..." He reached out, and grabs the crest. "Huh... This feels like it's really important... I'll make sure not to lose it." Hunter carefully put the crest in his pocket. 'Heh, that Woodmon won't be bothering anyone anymore. I swear, him stalking us was just plank rude.' He chuckles a little at his own bad joke.

Sikey shoves Woodmon forward.
"Timber!" He calls.
Chris is confused.
the Woodmon falls flat on its face, not getting up due to its confusion. "Good job Sikey! Now Veemon!" 'Right! Vee Punch!' It repeatedly strikes the Woodmon, who suffers lots of damage before getting up and roaring, before grabbing Veemon and trying to siphon his energy. "Veemon! Oh no...!" He looks horrified, but then gets an idea. "Sikey, try to strike your horn against that stone right there really quickly! If you do it near the Woodmon, maybe you can create a spark or two to set it alight!"
Chris and Sikey hoped to...
Team Reunite - Conclusiveness!
Sikey nods.
"Alright, you give the word!"
And, with that, he rushes behind Woodmon.
Hunter nodded, and relayed the info to Veemon who quickly got to work as he dodged woodmon's attacks, causing him to focus completely on Veemon. "Aaand... Now Sikey!"
