I am so sorry to bother you with this stupid question, but Bisan has asked for a complete stop in economic activity. Can I still donate to help Palestinians or is it better to avoid any transactions for the week ? Thank you so much for what you're doing
hello anon. don't apologise, you're a breath of fresh air after the recent visitors in my inbox. I think a slightly more accurate description of Bisan’s ask is to stop or minimise all economic activity not in direct support of Palestine. Now more than ever, I would encourage people to donate to escape funds for Palestinians, to direct aid organisations like CareforGaza and the PCRF, and to buy e-sims as they’re running low.
Below I’ve compiled a list of resources below but this is definitely just a small sample size of what you can do to help during this strike. This post here is an extremely comprehensive resource that I’d recommend you have a look at.
credible organisations that are doing work on the ground in Palestine:
Care for Gaza:non-profit charity that distributes money, food and other resources directly to families in Gaza. They maintain a regular presence on Twitter and Instagram. You can donate to them via Paypal here.
PCRF / Palestine Children's Relief Fund: non-profit organisation that distributes essential food and resources to families in Gaza. Most recently, they delivered 30 tons of vital medicine, and 82,000 pounds of flour.
Medical Aid For Palestinians: deploys medical teams to treat Palestinians suffering under Israel's malicious bombardments.
Donate e-sims to Palestine: massive post with tutorials and relevant links, with discount codes included in the post and in the replies.

Reading through the QSMP Workplace Abuse Document compiled by @hopefghniki, as most of my knowledge came from the older documents and deep dives made in 2024 and the months after the admins going public, and I have to say; good *lord* its worse than I thought.
I know a lot of people don't care enough to read through the whole thing when they already know the gist of it (in which case boooooo you (unless you don't support QSMP anyways cos you know it's bad in which case MWAH, i get it people are busy)) but I'm still seeing a lot of misconceptions, a lot of which come from the wording done by Quackity Studios in their clean up PR statements, + how Quackity and other CCs word it themselves.
And thus, here's me breaking down some of the misconceptions I have seen, some of which I believed myself at the start:
(Please note, I'm not a professional or a journalist. This post is half regular person wording things for other regular people who were also regularly confused by corpo-speak and half me writing things down as it helps me remember it lmao)
Weren't staff just volunteers?
Yes! But also no. Basically they had this trial system before you got paid (yeah, red flags immediately, you get it now?) where for one week they did the work unpaid until they were either accepted and paid or weren't excepted and were fired. Volunteers, officially and on the "we're hiring!!!" things posted on twitter, only existed for that trial and were a temporary stage before employment.
OR!!! That's what was *supposed* to happen, basically QSMP Studios staff kept making up excuses to extend that one week deadline, claiming stuff like "your behavior is strange, we're just gonna keep an extra eye on you for a while before we make a decision" and then it dragged on and on with people being stuck in the volunteer phase for months in some cases. which is unpaid labor. which is scummy af. think unpaid internships, but with even less safety nets in place.
Weren't the Staff paid and Volunteers unpaid, because well, they're just volunteers?
Ok so basically people had official jobs and what they were being paid for (at abysmally low rates, mind you) and then were also asked to do other not-their-job things, so "artist" staff and "person who did art for qsmp" are not the same thing, translators drew art unpaid, roleplayers did translating unpaid, etc etc.
List of QSMP Staff/Volunteer wages:
Paid Staff: 150€ (171 USD) per month - Keep in mind that the server was open and had people working on it pretty much 24/7 over a year, someone who was a paid staff member throughout almost the entirety of the servers runtime, a year, would have been paid 1800 euro ($2056 USD) for months of being on call pretty much 24/7 which surmounts to an hourly (on-call or working) rate of about 24 cents. These were the paid ones.
Roleplayers/Actors: Unpaid
Builders: $5 USD per hour
Commission pay for art done by non-artist staff: Unpaid
Developers (Unknown what is meant by "developers", could be backend, webdev, modding etc): Some were reported to have been paid as little as 1 Euro ($1 USD) per hour
Twitter Account Admins: Unpaid
Web Developer: Between $5-22 USD per hour
Video Translation: $1 per minute of edited video, (The minumum wage per minute in my country is 5 times that btw, I was gonna give the USA one as an example but its abysmal, but they were paid less than that anyways so ugh)
Video Translation done by non-translator staff: Unpaid
3D Modeling (Commission pricing examples from one Model Artist):
Small model - ~5-10$
Player-size - ~15-20$
Large - ~30-60$
Unusual sizing - 60$+
Rush Fee - 15$+
This is lower than commercial pricing.
Writing: $200-400 USD per month - writers were just as on-call 24/7 as other staff types, last minute changes happened frequently, needing changes a days or even hours before going live. Hourly rate calculates to about 40 cents per hour.
Staff were paid from Quackity's personal Paypal account, rather than an official business transaction. Paypal transaction fees were not covered by QSMP Studios / Quackity.
(Side note, one (maybe more) of the QSMP actors were underage, and unpaid due to being an actor so yeah unpaid child labor.)
(Side side note, the "NDA" they had to sign was the first result of typing "NDA" into google lmao)
It's just minecraft, they're getting paid to pay minecraft, they're lucky!
Staff were uber overworked, on call 24/7, and made to do sooo many things outside of their official designated/paid jobs. The idea of an admin with a specific job is nebulous at best. That was what you were on paper, in reality admins did a bit of everything. Actors did art, writers did translation, builders did writing, it was all over the place. Remember the jokes about admins being online for 13+ hours a day? It was funny at the time, "they're being paid to play minecraft, wouldn't be online all the time?" In reality they had no choice.
The staff have been paid now!
I have seen zero evidence of this being the case, the closest Ive seen is a he-said-she-said of posts saying that Quackity told Philza and Tubbo who mentioned it on stream. I have seen zero clips of them saying this, but even if they have, it needs to come from Quackity.
Edit from the next day: Thank you to people in the reblogs for correcting me, this doesn't need to come from Quackity, it needs to come from the admins themselves stating that they have been paid. Quackity has proven to not be a trustworthy source.
All of this is proven with all the necessary quotes and citations and evidence in the document linked above.
I am truly sorry to all of the victims of Quackity and Quackity Studios' abuse, you guys deserve the world, every happy memory I have from QSMP is all thanks to you and you deserve more than compensation for the work you did to make it great.
ok yap over :P
My sweet baby boy. He's not himself anymore. It's time. I know it is.
I made a Gofundme for the Euthanasia and Memorial.
He's fought so hard for 2 months against this tumor in his stomach. Bounced back from nearly starving himself to death to eating all his meals, playfully pouncing at the TV watching mice videos, cuddling... that was just 2 days ago. But he declined quickly in these last 2 days.
Today he refused his favourite meal, tried to eat cat litter & I think I saw melena.
I know all the meds wasn't a cure. It was just prolonging the inevitable.
It's time to rest, my boy. I'm so sorry. You deserved to live till your 20s and die of old age, not be eaten away by cancer at 12.
I never imagined I’d live to see my home burn before my eyes, unable to save a single thing.
The Israeli army stormed our neighborhood and set our house on fire. Everything burned — the walls, our memories, my siblings’ photos, our clothes. Even the scent of home has turned into smoke and fear.
But the fire wasn’t enough. They left behind bottles they had urinated in, as if to mock us. They wrote on our walls, boasting about their destruction — proud of what they did to people who had nothing.
What’s left is a scorched skeleton of our home, half-destroyed, no longer livable. Yet it still holds the ashes of our dreams. My siblings ask me every night, “When can we go home?” And I have no answer.
We sleep on the floor. I hold my family tight with a heart full of pain, praying the morning doesn’t bring more loss. I ask myself:
Why so much hatred? What did we do to deserve this cruelty?💔
Where is the world? Why is no one stopping them? I’m not asking for much — just safety, dignity, and a roof to protect my family. Our home wasn’t a palace, but it was our world. And now… we have no world left.
*Please, help us. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step toward hope — toward survival.*Please don't ignore me share this post 🙏💔

Hello, my name is Abdulrahman, and I'm working to raise funds… Abdul Rahman needs your support for Help Abdul Rahman and his family survive
I'm writing to you today in desperate need of your support. My old account has been blocked, and this has made me feel sad and anxious, especially since I'm from Gaza.
**I'm here to ask you to follow my new account.** Every new follower helps me achieve my goal and support my family during these difficult times.
**I need your support to provide for my family.** Every follow means so much to me and will be a step toward improving our circumstances.
I promise to share inspiring and impactful content that brings us together. Thank you for your support, and I look forward to seeing you on my new account!💔🙏
I am in direct contact with the people behind the Ban Conversion 'Therapy' campaign in EU and we would really like to reach the threshold in a couple central/eastern European countries (e.g. Poland 🇵🇱, Czechia 🇨🇿, Hungary 🇭🇺, Romania 🇷🇴, Bulgaria 🇧🇬, Slovakia 🇸🇰) but due to the language barrier it is a bit harder. These countries can sometimes be more conservative so them reaching the signature threshold carries a lot weight!
We don’t know how (where) to reach these countries effectively! ~12 years ago I was on https://www.interpals.net where you can chat with people from all over the world, it still looks to be active so we can campaign there BUT, we would love to receive more ideas how to reach people from the above countries.
Don’t forget to share the campaign (actively messaging/asking friends is by far the most effective method!!)

My name is Abdelmajed.
I never imagined I’d be sharing my story like this, but life in Gaza has become unbearable. I am a survivor of the war here, and in the blink of an eye, everything I once knew—my home, my safety, my community—was ripped away from me.
The war has transformed Gaza into a graveyard of broken dreams. The buildings that once stood as symbols of life and resilience are now piles of rubble. Every corner is filled with the echoes of explosions. Every moment is shrouded in uncertainty. There is no security. There is no stability. There is no light at the end of the tunnel.
Basic needs have become luxuries.
Food is scarce. Clean water is even scarcer. Hospitals are overwhelmed and under-resourced, and there is almost no medical care to be found. Every night, families go to bed hungry, praying they’ll wake up to see another day. The cost of basic necessities has skyrocketed, and it’s become a daily battle just to survive.
I’ve seen things I never thought possible—standing in long lines for a piece of bread, rationing every drop of water, and watching my people suffer in silence. I have lost everything—my home, my safety, my dignity.
Escape from Gaza is my only hope,
but it’s almost impossible without financial help. The cost of evacuation is far beyond my means, and without support, I’m trapped in a warzone with no way out.
I’m reaching out to you now, in the hopes that someone, anyone, can help. I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for a chance—just a chance—to live. A chance to escape this never-ending cycle of fear, destruction, and loss. A chance to rebuild my life somewhere safe, where I can begin again, where I can find hope once more.
My name is Abdelmajed, and I am a survivor of the war in Gaza. Everything I once knew has been taken away—my home, my safety, and the people
Any amount you can give will help me get closer to safety.
Even the smallest donation will make a difference—it could be the lifeline I need to survive. If you are unable to donate, please share my story. The more people who hear it, the better the chance that I can find the support I desperately need.
Your kindness and support mean the world to me. You’re not just helping me escape a war; you’re giving me a chance to live, to rebuild, to breathe again.
Dear friends, kind hearts, and everyone who has stood with us,
When I first opened my heart to the world and shared our story, I never imagined the amount of love and solidarity we would receive. Thanks to your incredible support, we’ve now reached $12,837—a milestone that brings real light to some very dark days.
From the deepest corners of my heart, thank you.
💔 A Journey of Loss, but Also of Strength
As many of you know, I’ve lost 25 of my loved ones during this devastating war. That grief lives with me every single day. It’s in the silence that once held laughter, in the empty spaces where we once gathered as a family.
But through your help, I’ve also felt something else: hope. And that hope is priceless.

A quiet moment of fear, filmed just before everything changed.

This is what was left behind after the bombing of our home.
🌿 What Life Looks Like for Us Now
Despite everything, we’re still here.
Still surviving. Still hoping.
But things have only gotten harder.
The war has returned, more brutal than before—and for over a month now, Gaza has been completely sealed off. No food is coming in. No medical supplies. No aid. No trade. No one is allowed to leave, and no one is allowed to enter.
We’re trapped.
🏚 We live with the fear of tomorrow, every single day. Airstrikes, drones, and the uncertainty of what might happen next.
👨👩👧 Our family is forever changed—we haven’t just lost people; we’ve lost pieces of ourselves.
📉 Basic needs go unmet—even clean water feels like a luxury now. Medicines, if they exist at all, are unreachable.
And yet…
Your support reminds us that we’re not forgotten. It reminds us that someone, somewhere, is still listening. That someone still cares. That we’re not completely alone in this.
Every message. Every share. Every dollar. It tells us:
You’re walking this road with us.
And that gives us the strength to keep going.
💖 What You Can Do
If you’ve already donated—thank you beyond words.
If you can share our story again, it could reach someone who can help.
Even $5 means warmth, comfort, and a chance to breathe a little easier.

✨ Why It All Matters
This isn’t just about reaching a fundraising goal. It’s about surviving war with dignity.
It’s about believing in tomorrow. It’s about making sure my daughter grows up knowing that the world did not look away.
Thank you for your kindness, patience, and belief in our humanity.
You’ve helped me find my voice—and I will use it to keep hope alive.
🙏 From the Heart: A Quiet Apology
There’s something I need to say—something that’s been on my heart for some time.
When I first began sharing our story, I didn’t know what the right way was. I was scared, grieving, and trying to protect my family in any way I could. I reached out to many people, hoping someone, anyone, would see us. In that process, I now realize I may have overstepped, and I might have made some feel overwhelmed.
If that happened, I am truly sorry.
Please believe me when I say it was never out of disregard or pushiness. It came from a place of fear—fear of being forgotten, fear of not being able to keep my family safe, fear of watching everything I love slip away in silence.
I’m learning as I go. I’ve slowed down. I’m more mindful now, trying to share our journey in a way that feels respectful of the space and hearts of those listening.
If my words ever came at the wrong time, or in the wrong way, I hope you can understand where they came from—and I hope you can forgive me.
Thank you for seeing past my mistakes. Thank you for still being here. It means more than I can ever explain.

🏚️ From Rubble to Renewal — Help Mohamed Rebuild a Home Full of Hope 🌿
In the blink of an eye, the life we knew disappeared.
My name is Mohamed, and I’m writing this with a heart full of sorrow—but also a quiet flame of hope. Our family home, a place that held generations of memories, was reduced to rubble in an instant. The rooms that once echoed with laughter, the walls that witnessed our stories, and the garden where we dreamed of better days—all of it is gone.
And yet, we are still here.
Still standing. Still believing. Still dreaming.
Before the war, our home wasn’t just a structure—it was everything. It was the heartbeat of our family. We shared countless dinners around a modest table, whispered goodnight to one another across quiet rooms, and celebrated the small joys that made life meaningful. It was a place of love, of safety, of tradition.
Losing it has left a deep wound in our lives. But what we haven’t lost is our will to rebuild.
We are determined not to let destruction be the end of our story. We want to rebuild our home not just with bricks and wood, but with faith, with dignity, and with your support.
I know there are countless stories in the world that deserve to be heard, and I humbly ask that you take a moment to hear ours. We are turning to this community, to the kindness of strangers, because we believe in the power of people coming together to lift one another out of despair.
Your support—whether it’s a donation, a share, or even just a moment of your time—can help lay the first stone of our new beginning.
💛 Every dollar brings us one step closer to safety.
🧱 Every share gives our story a voice.
🌱 Every gesture, no matter how small, is a reminder that compassion can grow even in the harshest soil.
We are not asking for charity. We are asking for a chance. A chance to rebuild our lives, to give our children a roof under which they can dream again, and to find peace after so much pain.
In the blink of an eye, everything we knew and loved w… Mohammed Altelbani needs your support for A Plea for Hope: Rebuilding Our Ho
Please, if you feel moved by our story, consider helping us build something new from what’s been lost. Your kindness will be felt not just in concrete and wood—but in every smile, every warm night, and every future moment of joy that your support helps make possible.
From the deepest part of my heart—thank you.
For your time, your love, and your belief in us.
We will never forget it.

Ola reached out to me again to help her, I want to share some things that she told me & encourage you to share this post/d0nate, every share and every $ counts! 🙏 [LINK TO FUNDRAISER]
You may be thinking, why does she need so much, haven't we helped enough yet? While we complain about, let's say, the ever-rising price of eggs - 2€ here, $10 in the US - how much might these same eggs cost for Ola, in a country where all production is stopped & barely any food can be imported? Well, for Ola and her family, every single food item & necessity has prices comparable to what one would normally only spend on perhaps a trip or even rent - each egg, or fruit, or vegetable, is like a luxury item, and meat is out of the question entirely. On top of that, Ola is unable to work or earn any money, so she & her family are completely dependent on this campaign for basic survival. In this art piece, I wanted to portray Ola's dreams that were crushed by the current situation, where she can barely survive.

I’m not here to beg or list every detail—because even an entire newspaper wouldn’t be enough. The images on TV screens and the stories you see online already tell you so much about what we endure. But no matter how much you see, you’ll never truly feel what we feel. And I wouldn’t wish this life on anyone.
We are victims of conflicts we never chose. We love life—deeply, desperately—as long as we’re allowed to live it. We don’t want war, we don’t want destruction. All we want is a future. A future for ourselves, for our children—a future like every other human being deserves.

Do you feel bored of the posts asking for help from Gaza? You’re right, but imagine our situation as we live this war day after day for 13 months. Do you think we’re tired too?!!...
Asking for help is not easy, it is very embarrassing, especially for a family that used to live a decent life. I had my own clothing store and I used to help others, not ask for help. But the war turned our lives into a nightmare, we lost our home, our sources of income, my store was destroyed and even our ability to provide the most basic needs.
....
I am Mahmoud, 47 years old, and I have three children. For 13 months, we have been struggling to get healthy food and medicine for our children, whose weak bodies have been infected. I lost my mother due to medical negligence, poor treatment materials, and lack of healthy food, as prices have increased more than 10 times. Now everything has run out. As you read my message, my family and I are trying to survive amidst all kinds of suffering.
What was once a beautiful dream and reality has now become a nightmare. Starvation is one thing, but starving, freezing, and being forced to flee in the middle of the night when tanks suddenly arrive in your area, running for your life and your family’s life under fire, leaving behind everything you built over the years, and returning after 5 months of suffering in displacement and tents to find that your home, where you lived your happiest moments, is nothing but rubble, is something completely different! 💔😓
Can you feel my broken heart now? Can you imagine what I’m going through at this moment? Everything I am living now cannot be described with words, and every moment here is filled with pain and fear. We desperately need your help, as we live in hope of escaping Gaza to save our lives and live safely away from the explosions
You might feel powerless to stop this genocide, but you can certainly save my family. We appeal to your compassionate hearts to help us escape this catastrophe, which the human mind cannot even fathom
Please share our campaign with your family and friends. This will help us reach those who can help us directly. Be the reason to bring hope back to our hearts ♥️✨
I know you share my story out of love and humanity, and I am truly grateful for that. 🙏💚 .
The painful truth is sharing alone does not feed the hungry or provide medicine for the sick.💔...
Cost of a bag of flour is $300 which is the main source of food for my family and is needed weekly just to make bread. We live in a tent my child trembles from hunger and cold, and all I can do is pray. 😥
Please, don’t just watch or share. Even a small donation could be a lifeline for a hungry child or a suffering patient. 🙏

My name is Nadin. I never imagined I would write something like this. I’ve always been someone who kept her worries quiet, someone who believed that even the hardest days could be endured with patience and faith. But right now, I am reaching out — not because I want to, but because I need to.
I am a wife, a mother, and one of many women in Gaza trying to survive days that feel like they have no end. There was a short time — a brief ceasefire — where we thought things might start to heal. Where the sound of war faded for just long enough to let us breathe. But that moment is gone now, and the fear has returned louder than before.
My days are filled with uncertainty, and my nights with prayer. We have lost so much. Our home was damaged, our sense of safety taken from us. But through all of this, I try to keep going. I try to hold on to what little peace I can create with my hands, my words, and my love.
I am not asking for much. Just a little help to keep our lives from falling further apart. To fix the small things — a cracked wall, a leaking roof, the pieces of daily life that help us hold on to dignity.
This campaign isn’t just about survival. It’s about holding on to what makes us human in a place that keeps trying to take that away. It’s about showing my daughter — even though I won’t mention her name here — that the world didn’t forget us.
If you’ve ever felt powerless in the face of suffering, please know that even the smallest gesture can carry great meaning. A kind word. A shared post. A quiet donation. These things remind us that we’re not alone.
My name is Nadin I’m a mother, a wife, and just one of many women in Gaza who are trying to hold on — to hope, to our families, to any piece
I am still here. Still holding on. Still believing that people out there — people like you — still care.
Please, if you feel moved, consider supporting or sharing this campaign.
