harrowing experience to fall in love with a character because theyre a well written twisted sick evil villain manipulator and then you seek out creator interviews and find out the person behind it thought they were writing some kind of cheeky lovable scamp with a heart of gold

Divert the trolley to save one person. Kill your friend. Everything is happening too fast. Your friend says to do it. No time to think. You walked him here from a cliff edge and he helped you tie him down. The guy with his arm on the tracks says "hey can you get on with it already?" Other people are already thanking your friend for his sacrifice. They tell him he is a good man, and he says he has them so fooled. He looks at you and tells you this is the right thing to do. He is covered in blood. Your hand was already on the lever.
One(1) person leaves the town unscathed and everyone acts like it was worth it
One of my favourite crossfangs ideas is an au where they're extremely inconvenient soulmates that feel each other's pain. Because as a vampire, Scott is capable of taking and healing from massive amounts of trauma, he can handle the pain quite well when it doesn't last long, it's just a minor nuisance to him at this point, but Abolish's human nervous system is not used to being overloaded with so much intense information.
On the other hand, Abolish is used to lingering pain, to his body needing time to heal even the smallest injuries. He knows what bruises feel like, he can easily ignore how his ribs ache, how a papercut keeps stinging, or how his head throbs. Meanwhile, Scott hasn't had a headache in centuries, the worst he's had to deal with on a semi-permanent basis is getting sunburned, and that's over as soon as he's out of the sun, so being soulmates with a fragile, slow healing human is, not to be dramatic, the worst thing that has happened to him in centuries.
Abolish would definitely be the first one to consider that he might have a soulmate when Scott goes to stage 2 and his skin starts to hurt at random times. But he won't realise that his soulmate might be a vampire & could be in Oakhurst until Apo takes an axe to Scott's throat and Abolish almost blacks out from the sudden onslaught of pain that disappears almost as quickly as it came.
So I was thinking about v!Abolish, fork found in kitchen, and Im a big fan of the butler to Scott idea and he was just awake for 600 years while Scott was asleep and then Scott wakes up and he has his incredibly loyal butler still.
Well what if Scott wakes up and Abolish has got sick and tired of the man over the last 600 years. And while on the outside he seems to be doing everything Scott wants him to do, he is actually working with the humans to kill him? And does multiple attempts on his life which he is able to ward off as,
âThere was a bag on your back, I had to get rid of it sir.â
âWith a stake?â
âItâs what was in mind hand at the time sirâ
âThrough my heart?â
âSwung a bit too hard sir.â

The reason Abolish now hates Scott is up to you but a couple of ideas are
Maybe the circumstances which Scott was put to sleep was something like they gave Scott a choice between death or enchanted sleep and Scott, who really didnât want to die and hadnât slept in centuries, chose sleep, but the curse accidentally spread to his servants but they werenât put to sleep, in fact they couldnât sleep and they just lived, most killed themselves within the first 200 years until it was just Abolish who kept pushing forward but his hatred for Scott kept growing as to him, Scott knowingly chose to make his servants, Abolishs friends, suffer this fate.
Maybe he had been getting annoyed with vampires before and was thinking of leaving but then curse hit and all of a sudden he couldnât leave Oakhurst and so was stuck with everyone, (maybe everyone else was stuck but I like to believe Scott chose his âmost loyalâ to stay with him and attend him so everyone else could leave). This meant he just got angrier and angrier and angrier at Scott and vampires in general.
Maybe he was okay with Scott beforehand because he thought all vampires were just like that and anyways he had a contract to keep up with so he served Scott loyally and then when Scott went to sleep he took care of the castle and Scott. But then he met Louis and realised not all vampires are as evil as Scott, and it wasnât Scott being a vampire that made him evil, it was Scott being Scott and so vowed to stake the man for his crimes.
Whatever the circumstances are to make Abolish hate Scott, when Scott wakes up and the events of vsmp start, Abolish has a crisis because he is stuck between, I have a job to do, and, This man is a plague to the world.
