Pam is such a beautiful character. Despite being one of the most cynical characters, she is also the most romantic. She is willing to do anything she can to make things work when she truly loves someone. It's rare but when it happens, she is the most selfless, loyal character. She takes the time to understand things and she isn't afraid to call shit out. If I ever had anyone like her in my life I would never let them go.
I still feel so much disappointment when I think of Bill's end. Seven seasons of Sookie loving him unconditionally and vice versa for him to die and her settle for normal housewife life. It sucks. Bill deserved a better ending and so did Sookie! True Blood was full of magic and endless possibilities, Sookie could have somehow saved Bill.
It bothered me that most of the straight characters got to have explicit sex scenes, yet the only time we ever got to see two men get really physical together was either in a dream or when Eric seduced Talbot so he could kill him. Besides the five-second scene of Jessica catching Lafayette and James in the car, none of the show’s actual gay couples got to do much more than kiss.
It bothers me that it feels like TB spent more time developing and then cleaning up the remnants of the authority mess that was season 5 than they did properly developing the final season of the show. Everything felt so rushed and out of whack. The closure that we were supposed to feel fell very short because I wasn't even given time to absorb major plot points.
Even though I was obsessed with the show and stayed with it until the end if I'm just being honest with myself it was really just a poorly written show. It was incredible in the early seasons as evidenced by awards etc. But it was a shit show about halfway through and onward. All the messages from early on in the show got skewed and blown to hell. TB never really decided on what vampires were supposed to be or represent. The show became a joke. Let's all admit it.
