Its hard being a fan of musicals and wanting to recommend musicals to your friends because its either one of three ways.

"The story is phenomenal, the music is awesome, however please watch this very bad bootleg that cuts out from time to time and the footage is bad quality"

OR

"The musics awesome but its technically just a concept album so you kind of just have to listen to it and kind of decipher the story"

"So you would love this musical, the music's fantastic but since it only ran on off-Broadway for like 2 months, there is no bootleg so at every song you just have to simultaneously look through the wikipedia article to understand what's going on however because there was no fan content one guy did commission artists to make animatics to all the songs so you can go look at that"
