Why streaming/digitial sales are important for music show wins!
Hello! I think a lot of people aren’t completely aware of how important digital album sales and streaming are for music show wins. Below is a breakdown of points for first place on all the main music shows in Korea.
INFINITE have always been stronger on physical album sales than they have with digital sales, and this is partly the reason The Eye only achieved three music show wins. If you are able to, buying the album through MelOn or Soribada is a good way to contribute towards digital sales. However, this isn’t possible for everyone.
This is where streaming and SNS activity can come into play.
