You ever got that one old show that was incredibly successful when it aired and its influence was smeared all over pop culture but when it eventually ended suddenly no one gave a shit and it became so unpopular somehow?

One of the reasons I could think of contributing to that would be either weaker later seasons and/or a bad ending. In hindsight, it makes sense but it's just so sad seeing shows that are genuinely good fading into obscurity :(
