I think that my biggest flex will forever be that I single-handedly drove a manipulative bigot off this app just by calling them a shitty person ONCE. I didn't even do anything big I was like "You and your family treated me like shit on the basis of my nationality and also you treated my friend and I horribly although all we ever did was try to help you not be 20 living in a cardboard box on the street" and their shit was GONE

my number one advice for parents is to listen to your children tbh. and i dont just mean listening to their problems i mean like. when your kid recites the plot of a movie youve already seen or your tells you about what they did at school today or wants to show you their roblox gameplay. youve gotta be invested in knowing your kid as a person or why are you even doing the whole parenting thing.

Y’know, the story straight-up tells us why Mama Bear and Papa Bear sleep in separate beds: they have very different needs in terms of mattress firmness, and those fancy responsive mattresses that can be soft on one half and firm on the other hadn’t been invented yet. There’s no shame in valuing your spinal health.
