"Ah, already? Well..sure, I’ll make sure to tell him you stopped by," he rubbed his arm, "It’s a shame you can’t stay longer though…(…I kind of wanted to know if you’re his love interest or not….)…"

"What’s the name of the bar? I can tell Cloud to stop by, or I can stop by…I could use a few drinks…(..or getting hammered would be good too…)…"

"Yes, it's best not to leave it unattended for two long -- sometimes things get a little rowdy." She smiles apologetically. "Cloud and I have another friend who's keeping an eye on it for me right now, and I'd rather not leave her alone for that long." Though she's pretty sure Aerith could and would kick anyone's ass who gave her any trouble without having to lift a finger.

"It's called 7th Heaven! Feel free to drop by! I'll give you a drink on the house, okay?" She waves over her shoulder and shows herself the door. "Oh! Nice to meet you, by the way!"

He half smiled and picked up his glass of water, “thanks….uh yeah, who would of thought there would be so many people in need of help. I’m thinking it’s just because it’s the holiday season, more car accidents and troubles with vehicles or something”

"But I don’t mind it, just means a fatter wallet for me..heh" he took a sip of his water before setting the glass of water down and leaning forward on the bar, resting his arms over it and crossed over one another. "Bet it’s extra busy for you too"

"All business picks up during the holidays, even the negative ends." With so much hustle-and-bustle, someone's bound to get hurt. Since there are no customers in need of drink, she takes the opportunity to start filling the sink with hot water and soap so she can clean some of the glasses that didn't fit in the dish washing machine when she filled it earlier.

"But yes, it gets busy around here -- though I think it's the cold that really brings people in." She tilts her head. "Alcohol makes one feel warm, after all. And the atmosphere is so inviting compared to outside."

Her attention is drawn to the door, and the little bell that chimes when it's opened; the familiar sight of a pink gown makes her smile. "Welcome back, Aerith -- oh, who's this you've brought with you?"

The young lady’s kindness was a little startling for Sousuke. Her gentle smile and words were foreign to the teen, who only knew how to follow orders and commands drilled strictly into his mind. Gentleness did not apply to his military career and he knew not much, if not nothing, of it. Her delicateness made him a bit nervous. Perhaps he should keep his weaponry well nested beneath his clothes for the time being, just for her sake.

"Of course not, ma’am. That is an affirmative."

He hesitated for a moment before walking towards the food booths behind the observation deck. His pace slowed a bit as he allowed for the lady to follow. The walk was a relatively short one and as a result, Sousuke was facing the food booths in less than a minute. Grey optics were tinged with curiosity as they surveyed the many options for food consumption. With so many choices, it was almost impossible for the sergeant to decide. He was used to being given standardized food rations as opposed to being able to choose what to eat. A bit confused as to what to do, he turned towards the lady, hoping that she would be able to aid in his dilemma. He didn’t realize, however, that his question took in the assumption that they were to eat together. Well, he didn’t have anyone else to eat with and it looked like she didn’t either, so it was appropriate for them to eat together, was it not?

"Where shall we eat?"

She keeps her pace equal with his, wine-colored eyes surveying the various stands and the enormous observation deck -- she'll have to check that out when she's done eating, viewing the fair from the top would be a good way to familiarize herself with the layout.

His sudden question leaves her blinking, caught off-guard. Oh, did he want to eat together? That's fine, she decides after a minute of pondering -- if anything goes amiss, and she doubts it will, she can defend herself. After all, she has a childhood of martial arts under her belt that she's kept up with through her years as a maturing adult.

"What sounds good to you?" Everything smells delicious, she knows that for sure. The pizza stand to her left is pretty tempting...but so is the barbecue on her right.

Tifa… is a nice name. He looked behind and smiled at her. “It’s nice to meet you too, Tifa-san.” She only gives out her first name only, but Miyamura don’t really care, as long as there’s a name he can call her. 

"I see." He wanted to say more but they already reached the food booth. He waved his hand at the food booth. "Here’s the food booth. Since it comes down to this, how about we eat with each other? That’s it if you want to." He asked, awaiting her answer, which he thinks is a no.

"Likewise!" At least if the day goes terribly, she can console herself with the fact she did manage to meet one new person. 

Eating together, huh -- she supposes it can't hurt. Besides, it'll be awkward if they're the only two sitting around eating by themselves. "Um, sure, I guess that'd be okay."

The day was much too quiet. Sousuke found nothing worthy of suspicion, which was suspicious in and of itself. This town was much too peaceful. It was a call for disaster, sooner or later. While it was peaceful, however, Sousuke decided to take it upon himself to get the most out of his time here. He would experience civilian life to the fullest and learn everything there is to know about being one.

He would start by going to the fair.

There was a lot that went on within the boundaries of the fair. Sousuke entered cautiously and armed, always prepared for any situation. Of course, he had focused on situations that didn’t include interacting with other civilians. He was sent to this town alone, which made him singularly focused on strategies and tactics fit for one operative. That was why he was slightly surprised when someone approached him and asked for the location of a particular place, a place that Sousuke suddenly had the desire to go to as well. He heard a stomach growling and mistook it for his own when he saw the young woman before him lay a hand on hers. It was a good thing he studied the fair map before he entered.

"It’s on the right, behind the observation deck. I could take you there as I coincidentally would like to go there as well."

A loud growl then came from his stomach before he placed a hand over it as an apologetic gesture.

Her smile, sheepish, warms when his stomach echos her own. "Oh, thank you. That would be lovely." She crosses her arms behind her back, raven locks spilling over a shoulder as she tilts her head. "I hope you don't mind leading the way -- I haven't learned the layout of the fair yet."

She's a bit overwhelmed by the sheer size of the event -- it's not like anything she has ever seen. Growing up in a small country town really did limit her experiences, she realizes, as she watches one of the various rides ascend into the air in the distance. 

Her fingers clasp together, waiting politely.

Miyamura finally decided to take a break from getting on all those rides. Damn, out of all of them, some are pretty scary ride. He was about to walk to the food booth when a girl asked him the direction, to the food booth.

"Yeah sure. I was going into the same direction too." He said with a big smile. He starts walking towards the foot booth, looking behind once in a while to see if the girl is following him.

"I’m Miyamura Izumi, who just moved here. Nice to meet you."

"Oh, thank you." She smiles politely and starts to follow, assuming that's what he wants her to do. It's a little embarrassing to have to ask for help, but she doesn't want to waste time wandering around with an empty stomach. 

"It's nice to meet you, too. I'm Tifa." Better to leave off the last name for now, she's never been comfortable with sharing her last name with strangers. "I moved here a little while ago..but I haven't really been out and about lately."

It seems like a good idea to take a day off from running the bar to hit up the fair that's in town. She doesn't get out much, and hasn't really made many new friends since she moved. Hopefully she can amend her antisocial behavior and meet some new people while she takes a day to relax.

"Excuse me, can you point me in the direction of the food booths?" Her stomach rumbles loudly, and she touches a hand to it in embarrassment.

Maybe she should have eaten first, though. Her excitement got the better of her.

He scratched the back of his neck, silently analyzing the suggestion as if it were something alien to him. Ask? In his time being alive and able to reason it’s usually been the other way around, people asking him questions like that. He had never asked anyone if he was bothering them, so clearly the concept of doing so was foreign. 

It might take him a bit getting used to though, but he was certain that his interest in Cloud would be enough to drive him to do so quickly. He finally nod and responded, “I don’t think I am, but I hope I’m not. I’m honestly interested in him and wouldn’t like to mess up too badly..” he sighed.

She nods encouragingly again, doing her best to look open and understanding in order to encourage Cloud's roommate to get along with the recluse blond. He could use a male influence in his life -- as long as Tifa has known him, his friends and family were primarily female and she couldn't help but wonder if that put pressure on him to be more masculine. 

And that line about the interest he has in Cloud, that's interesting. Yet again she senses something she perceives as romantic interest though it admittedly could be useful thinking. She just wants to see her friend happy, and she has a good feeling about this city and his roommate.

"Well, I think I better head back to my bar -- I've waited long enough. Would you mind telling Cloud that I stopped by?"

"Ah uh!" he looked up and rubbed his eyes, "I guess I dozed off haha..". Today had been a busy day for Zack, one which he had come to reward himself with some drinks but in the process of waiting for the lovely waitress to come around he had fallen asleep. He scratched his cheek and smiled sheepishly, "sorry about that! Can I just get a glass of water?"

Wake up Zack, hot chick at 12 o’ clock.

She doesn't sigh, though the temptation is there. Just a glass of water? Well she hadn't exactly specified that he had to order alcohol to retain his seat at the bar, so she can't really express any frustration.

She fills a glass with water from one of the many bottles in the small fridge beneath the counter and sets it beside him. "Long day, huh?" She can at least make some small-talk with the customer sitting closest to her while she works. Hopefully business would dwindle down a little soon -- while she liked the hustle and bustle that means she is turning a profit, she prefers her bar to have a low-key atmosphere.
