What is Apple Gem’s relationship with “aunt fluttershy”?

She loves hanging out with her auntie!, even if they aren’t really related she considers her family.

Apple gem got close to fluttershy as a filly and fluttershy stood up for her when her parents weren’t there, and she was a great babysitter.
