A whole omake chapter was released early! This clearly indicates that Connie Swap has reached its equivalent of the canon universe’s “Steven’s Dream” period, when a whole bomb came out early on the app.

Unfortunately, I fear that AO3 may have better server security than Cartoon Network, so it looks like we won’t be able to get parts of chapters early every week for the next two years...

The book in episode 23 is just a photo album of Citrine and Rose. This will cause Connie much strife and she will begin looking through it for hidden destiny clues a la Steven trying to find hidden messages in his mom’s tape.

Connie's turn to the Dark Side began the day she learned Steven likes pineapple on his pizza and he learned she likes mushrooms. The duo dissolved citing irreconcilable differences.

Lapis’s long absence from the cast was to accommodate her shooting schedule for not one but two movies: sequels to Avatar and The Last Airbender. She clinched these roles due to being both a blue alien and a waterbender.

No word yet on whether the Airbender sequel is being directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

The crossover in “Butterfly Effect” with Star vs. the Forces of Evil was actually the fic’s second crossover.

In episode 28, we learn that Wolf has been dying his hair blonde and that he is actually one of the white-furred cubs from Princess Mononoke.

Bismuth will arrive and rip up a piece of the house’s wood floor, like she does in the canon episode.

Peridot, because of all the work she’s put in to protect the floor, will be visibly and audibly irritated and will stab Bismuth then and there, ending the episode.
