I know advice from parents to new parents can be highly annoying, but honestly enjoy every single moment of this whole process. I remember…, well I wasn’t actually excited about being a dad when my claim was pregnant so I was basically dreading all of it and didn’t bother to enjoy any of it. I regret that. Time just goes so fast. But also I bet being pregnant is really hard so I guess you’d want that part to be over.
We’re nearing the “I’m so big, don’t look at me, but bring me ice cream and pizza while not looking at me” stage. We’re just trying to keep her de-stressed as possible. It can be a lot some days, but I’ll never say I don’t enjoy it.

Suppose getting used to change and people coming, and leaving are all a part of life.

I love you, never forget that. I also know that you are nothing like the people that hurt you, that you would never hurt Kale or I, or our baby. You will make a wonderful father and you can't be nervous. I'm nervous enough for the three of us.

I can understand your fears, but it sounds like you’re a natural though. Seems like, and I can totally be wrong so tell me to shut up if I’m off base, but it seems like taking care of kids and babies was pretty healing for you.
It was. I would do anything for my siblings. I certainly didn’t come into the family with that perspective.

I think those kind of jitters are understandable to have. She is happy that is obvious to see her and I can’t imagine she is anything but healthy. Her and your little one.
Well, she hasn’t tossed me out, yet, so I think we’re doing well on that front. And we’ve done everything to make this a good pregnancy, but nerves are normal, I’m told.
Has everyone congratulated my new Master? If not, you should. I’m very lucky to have been chosen by him. On the other side, there are plenty of tea and petite cakes for anyone willing to assist as clean out my previous villa to the standards of Dr. Graham.
Congratulations to you and Lennon. If you two ever want or need to talk to a claim counselor, I’m here. I’m here for the good, too, not just the bad.

It helps a little. I would have been hopeless if I hadn’t been around my nieces and nephews when they were babies, but tell you the truth nothing in the world prepares you for your own child. there’s just something so… life-changing about it. Not even life-changing. It changes you.
My entire family, including me, is made up of fostered and adopted kids. I’ve changed plenty of diapers and chased many a toddler around. Having them in my life kind of saved me. I wanted nothing to do with being a foster kid until I came to my parents and it was a slow change, but the kids helped. A lot. My mom and dad both say it shows I’m going to be good at the parenting, but I’m still nervous. I had a rough start before I came to them. I don’t want to be like the people who abused me, which I don’t think I will be, but you know, it never goes away. PTSD is tricky like that.
I do hope everyone doesn’t have qualms about the upcoming exams. They are necessary to ensure all are well and healthy. Of course if you do have concerns there are several around you can speak with in the meantime too.
Admittedly, I have some jitters, but not about my exam. When your wife is this far along in her pregnancy, you want everything to be perfect.
Bored. I don’t like being bored.
They need to bring back board game day in the cafeteria.
