funny how everyone on the internet knows that when a post says “this country” or “national statistics” or “our history”, you immediately assume that it’s about USA, even when you’re not american, because literally no one else are as arrogant or self-centered as to assume everyone else on the internet knows about their own country’s laws, statistics, history, procedures, and institutions or that they can be applicable universally, and also every single non-american i’ve ever met and known start off their posts by listing the location that they’re posting about, and then giving the historical and cultural context
