Fabio Quartararo grateful to Yamaha despite expected 2026 Exit
Fabio Quartararo appears increasingly likely to leave Yamaha at the end of the 2026 season. Since joining Yamaha with the Petronas SRT squad in 2019, Quartararo has claimed numerous victories and delivered the manufacturer's most recent premier-class title in 2021.
However, Yamaha's recent struggles have left Fabio Quartararo fighting far from the front, with the introduction of the V4 project failing to deliver the expected progress. Despite the difficult final years of the partnership, Quartararo insists his relationship with Yamaha will remain positive and that he will always be thankful for the opportunities the manufacturer gave him.
As Quartararo said.
"Well, at the end, already the last years were a bit like that. So I don't think it will ruin our story, because I will always be… Grateful. I will always be grateful to Yamaha for what we have done.
Of course, the last two years were not the greatest that we have spent together. But I don't think that six months will change our relationship. Just going to be a long [six months] but will not change our relationship."
Sniff it!

2026 will be his year.
