this is probably the most consecutive supernatural posts i’ve on my blog since like 2012 and icb a prequel i’m :/ about and the twitter drama started it

joking aside, i don’t actually really care about the prequel, like this horse has been beaten to death pls let it rest, but hey maybe they’ll do something interesting with it. i just have a hard time seeing how that’s gonna happen given everything that’s already been established about john and mary, not to mention the general fandom dislike of both of them (but especially john) just as characters. who knows

also not to mention the number of flashbacks and stuff that happened, especially in the later seasons and with that whole storyline where their mom came back for a minute there (idk i haven’t watched that season yet)? i think jensen said something about using the established stuff and kinda filling in the blanks but i’m like?
