Ah yes, the whole “the govt will just nuke one of its own cities” or “the govt will carpetbomb a neighborhood”. Incredible that you think the govt would do that and you still think that it’s best for the people to give up their arms.

Remember when Virginia had that bill that criminalized all sorts of firearms training and militia forming “with the intent to cause civil disorder”? Remember how people pointed out how vague and up for interpretation that qualifying clause is, and how it could easily be stretched to include anyone making “inflammatory political statements” online, or people gathering to protest an abuse of power?
Remember how many people insisted that there’s just no way that it would Akshually be abused, no way guys, it’s just to prevent evil white nationalists from training?
Monday’s march is what SB64 was written to combat, not “terrorism”, not “dangerous paramilitaries”, not “white nationalists”, but civilian resistance to Virginia legislature’s increasingly extreme power plays.
It’s that simple.
The patriot act, the NDAA, this fake “state of emergency”, the groundwork has already been laid in order to blanket label all resistance to these overreaches as “terrorism”.
And the media is poised to spin the story however they’re told, whatever benefits those in power the most.
It’s not “conspiracy theories”, this shit is literally right out in the open and they just think people are too stupid to notice or too apathetic - or busy - to stop and see what’s going on.
In Texas, it’s the mass shooter who ends up outgunned
Awesome
And then there’s lib twitter going out of their way to make it clear the real villain here was the rural white people whose place of worship was shot up
“It is terrible to contemplate how few politicians are hanged.”
G. K. Chesterton in The Cleveland Press (1 March 1921)
This totally happened and isn’t just orchestrated to enact red flag laws nationally.
The fact that anyone can be against stronger background checks on those attempting to purchase deadly weapons is fucking mind-boggling. No one is “taking your guns away,” we’re making sure it’s harder for bad people to get them, and y’all should be willing to have y’all’s goddamn backgrounds checked to protect innocent lives.
The NRA is a bunch of egotistical, self-centered scumbags.
What’s “stronger”? The ATF Form 4473 you fill out requires lots of personal info, and then databases are checked to see if you’ve been convicted of a felony, domestic violence, or if you’ve ever been committed to a mental institution.
American Fighters used at D-Day
P-51 Mustang
On D-Day the P-51 was used in multiple combat rules these included ground support of troops, interception and escorting the bombers and transport planes across the channel to France.
P-47 Thunderbolt
Due to the P-47 being one hell of a tank of a plane during D-Day it mainly operated as a ground strike plane as it could carry a heavy load of rockets and a few light bombs in order to take care of ground forces.
P-38 Lightning
During D-Day the P-38 provided fighter cover for the invasion fleet against any possible threat from the Luftwaffe.
Obviously, I’m not linking to the article, because when I step in dog shit, I don’t turn to someone and say “You gotta try this“, but also because the joke tells itself

I’ve seen a lot of bad anti-2nd comics, but this might take the cake.
There shouldn’t even be a discussion about whether Notre Dame should be rebuild with modernist additions everyone knows will be dreadful.
You’ve already lost if you put the historic essence of your country’s greatest sites up for debate
Of course all this is happening because modernists cannot accept that the masters of old might have created something more beautiful and meaningful than they possibly could.
Really cool how Ecuador got a 4 billion USD loan from the IMF approved a day after handing over Assange

Even been such a massive piece of shit you drive by a guy commuting suicide and thought “hmmmmm….. how can I benefit from this?”
