Probable Tumblr Change

I'm thinking of changing my Tumblr but this time with themes, actually posting my WIPs and using a professional email. Should i do it?

Hey! Happy (Late) Storyteller Saturday! For the question, how would you define your protagonist's journey in your WIP?

It's... complicated. Jem and her friends travelled across the surface of the Earth — literally — so, it's an exhausting journey that causes all of them to tire out and snap at each other. I'd say it's life-changing.

That's all I can think of atm but maybe I'll add more later

Do other writers ever get this like, hyper-specific dialogue exchange drop into their brains and you know exactly where these character are standing and what they’re doing and how they’re saying these words but that’s all you get. You don’t have much other context and this specific moment that exists only at this time in your headspace??

I have always been fascinated by these ‘world of 100 people’ things, I remember spending hours thinking through the ones on a poster at church when I was 9 or so. It really, really makes some really important stuff so blindingly clear, in numbers we can understand. And it should, I hope it does, inspire us to act.

The reason these work so well is because the human brain is actually incapable of comprehending the actual amount in people in the world. Our mind unassisted can only understand numbers up to a certain amount. Even 83% of 7 billion is difficult to grasp because we know that’s a Fuck ton, but on the flip side 17% of 7 billion is a Shit load. So our brain realy can’t comprehend the gravity of what exactly is the difference one fuck ton and one shit load. But when you take away the percent, remove this gigantic 7 billion number, and bring it down to 100, all of a sudden out brains go “oh! I know what 100 is! I can understand this!” And things are a lot clearer.

Sorry, I’m the wrong person to ask! I’ve never really looked into law or anything — especially what’s legal for publishing because I don’t anticipate ever going through that process — so I really have no idea.

Contrary to popular belief, posting something on social media does not, in fact, make it public domain.

HOWEVER, you will probably get away with using lines where it cannot be proven you´re quoting, by which I mean lines that could exist and appear in a conversation without the existence of given tik-tok. Alternatively, you can reference it in different ways, without quoting them directly. There is a reason why in books heavy with pop culture references you barely ever see a quote.

Well, @constelationswrites, in their Terms and Conditions they clearly state that they can and will take action against any copyright infringement. Any content on Vine Archives is property of Twitter, excluding content provided by users, in which case the rights obviously belong to the creator. Personally I wouldn’t take the risk of being sued by Twitter, since they promise to respond to any notification of alleged copyright infringement by their users.
