A warm tint of yellow had already made itself welcome by the time she stopped by. It graces her skin softly as she sat. Before she scans the horizon, her gaze landing on a patch of flowers waltzing with the wind.
Sighing, she closes her eyes. Listening to the rustle of leaves nearby.
It stays like that for awhile. It should have been like that for longer than a moment. Longer than an hour.
Before, the soft mechanical whirl of fans greets her presence. The sound of metal clinking echoes before she senses his form stabilized beside hers. A pause hangs in the air. And she glances to her side. His monitor now focused to the direction she faced.
"Fresh blooming flowers are always nice," he begins, voice slightly falling flat.
She hums, agreeing. Gaze fixated on the view.
"Well, if I'm not mistaken those types of flowers are quite difficult for some to grow," he comments, "I take it you've got quite the talent in gardening."
She nods, a gentle smile beginning to sprout on her lips, "I suppose you could say that."

Heyo, so I'm thinking of making something and this is a short piece I picked from what I have in mind. It's a short simple moment between the two protagonists. Male protag is a robot if that isn't obvious, but as for the female protag I'm not sure yet.
At the moment I'm working with their dynamics and personalities and I think what I wrote here shows it, at least partially.
I'm not really sure about this though considering that there's probably many, many stories like this one.
But, I'd still really appreciate anyone who'd like to comment on what I have so far. Although it's short, I think it can be an enjoyable read regardless. Enjoy!

Error screens shutter up as his systems booted. Fans turned deep inside, faster than it should. His gaze fixed itself firmly to hold hers as one of his hands held his chest.
She leans her head to the side in confusion and slight concern, "Are you alright?"
He doesn't answer ...atleast not immediately. For a second longer he remains still. Before the air rushes past to brush the meadow surrounding them. The cool air soothes his skin slightly.
She calls his name.
Almost instantly, he nods as his systems alert him that he's overheating. "Yes, of course I'm fine. Thank you for asking."
In response, she hums before slowly turning to the side. Inspecting a plant of sorts on a nearby tree. "Well if you need any help, I'll be here," she states, giving him a glance.
He nods once more, fans now whirring rapidly against his will. Before he shakes his gaze from her direction. Forcing himself instead to turn and take a few steps opposite from her direction.
With his hand still on his chest, he heaves slightly. The heat now rushing to his face. Creasing the digital eyebrows on his face, he fails to resolve his systems warnings. [OVERHEATING, OVERHEATING!]
[SYSTEM OVERLOAD]
