CM27 Miguel Torga - Hexágono Amoroso Fresh, watery, green, with a healthy dose of surrealistic humor (for those who understand portuguese) and a series of references to the lusitanic arts: this is Miguel Torga's "Hexágono Amoroso", a mix of Dub Techno and House grooves, flutes with deep chords, snares with water droplet sounds, a cocktail which results in, according to some critics, the "Pastoral House" genre. It makes sense. Miguel Torga is (and we can confirm it) a very romantic person who grew up in Alentejo, climbing olive trees and chasing geckos, so it's understandable that those wonderful life experiences as a child would have an impact on his music later when Miguel digs deep into his first tracker (the intriguing music-making software variation), influenced by his recent musical findings through EBM - Electronic Body Music. The year was 1994. In a time when Portugal is becoming the trendy touristic place of Europe, with Porto and Lisbon being named the "new-this" and "new-that", it's nice to see the old country mixed so efficiently with what we consider a modern, worldwide music phenomena. A culture remixed, let's say, in album format. We know it sounds intriguing, so we invite you to check for yourself. More nice words wouldn't explain a thing so we say: trust your ears and dive into the freshness of Miguel Torga's "Hexágono Amoroso". "Besides the fact that I love the track names, I'm definitely going to play "Quero-te Longe". Thanks and congratulations." Magazino "A terrific remaster and a re-release that - in light of the recent achievements of the artist - is incredibly necessary! Congratulations." Kaspar "8\10 Wicked album. I love Miguel`s modern interpretation of Dub music." Kink "10\10 great album, thanks! Will play." Trikk Featured on Público jornal.
CM26 REST - The Soundtrack
Featuring Alex FX, Miguel Torga & SONJA, Efe Akmen, Ludovic / Cloche, Klipar, Uzume, B. Deodato, ocp - operador de cabine polivalente and LCAO, REST (The Soundtrack) is the music from Con+ainer’s first AV installation, built in partnership with the studio Grandpa’s Lab and recently presented at gnration between February and March 2016.
The compilation was, until recently, only available in Japan where it was being promoted as an obscure release from the late-80’s (sadly we did not fooled anyone) but is now available worldwide via Beatport, Juno Download, iTunes and many other digital stores.
Alternatively you can also stream the release via Spotify. Featured on “The Seance” by Saint Etienne and E-Lodie Radio.

Anders Blickmann - Taktzeit
"Taktzeit" by Anders Blickmann is Con+ainer's return to Techno music releases in 2016. Anders Blickmann, born André Tejo, is a portuguese musician, radio host and journalist currently living in Berlin. Deeply inspired by nordic culture (Anders is a Scandinavian name), this release somewhat reflects that: cold, industrial sounds echoing on top of grooving, mutating but simple beats. It's definitely a minimal approach to Techno, cutting the fat and keeping the essential elements that already have a life of their own. Remixing "Tatkzeit" is Non Gravity Area, Klipar's abstract Techno moniker and Con+ainer's own boss Ludovic who spent the last two years releasing only as Cloche and Umbra. NGA turns Taktzeit into a broken-beat driven track, pushing the main hook to the background and engulfing it in delays to create this eerie track's atmosphere. Groove alert! Ludovic on the other hand recreates a denser "Taktzeit" and divides it into three main parts: the two minutes-long intro, the kick and punch bit in the middle and the dreamy outro with a long sustain pad. A track perfect to be the first one on your sets or the one to reset an audience's mood. The release is now available on all main digital stores including Juno, Beatport, DJTunes and many others. You can also preview the EP on our Soundcloud.
Con+ainer Nightshift in Hamburg!
We are super happy to announce Con+ainer will be back to Hamburg this week for a special showcase featuring Trikk (who’s returning to the city 4 years later after his international debut in our first ever event in Germany), Cloche aka Ludovic, Marabou and local guest Schlag! The event will take place at Nochtwache, right in the heart of St Pauli. Tickets cost 10€ at the door but you can get some for free via Ohschonhell.de or at Dreitagewoche. See you there!
Con+ainer Nightshift w/ Marabou and Ludovic @ Café au Lait
This is it! Marabou is finally coming to Portugal after so many years having his music broadcasted all over portuguese radios. Support came from everywhere lately: Lux’s own Rui Vargas, Antena 3′s Rui Estevão, the kind people of Oxigénio and the consistent Omega 3 radioshow on RUM. Now is the time to welcome the misterious man from Saxony at Café au Lait’s basement. Be sure to visit us because the entrance is free and the PA system sounds awesome! Check out the map below and make sure to click attend at the event: Facebook Resident Advisor

Lisboa Dance Festival in video! Wow!
Amazeballs. Check out the energy in our room at 23:00!
Lisboa Dance Festival 2016 & Con+ainer Showcase
Some memories from Con+ainer's participation at Lisboa Dance Festival last year with Fidelio, Miguel Torga and Ludovic. A festival that had so many things happening at the same time but still managed to keep everything running perfectly: great sound, great staff team, great care! We hope the 2016's edition had the success the organization expected and we hope the festival manages to grow on the upcoming editions! See you next year.
Cloche - The Fulfiller
CM22 Raw, dirty House music grooves: "The Fulfiller" marks the return of Cloche, Ludovic's souful alias, after 2014's "Sweet Romantic Sexy Tunes". "The Fulfiller" brings gospelly vocals, feel good fuzzyness and groovy beats to the table, keeping the sexy undertones of Cloche's music while taking it to a more "acoustic" feel. Fidelio, the anonymous newcomer on Con+ainer, turns the original upside down, twists the melody and vocals and sprinkles everything on top of a ruthless jackin' drum beat. A razor sharp remix, ready to turn the party into debauchery. Buy now on Whatpeopleplay, Beatport, Juno Download.
REST - AV INSTALLATION
Con+ainer, in partnership with Grandpa’s Lab, proudly presents it’s first AV installation: “REST”. With visuals by the Porto-based studio and music by Alex FX, Miguel Torga & Sonja, LCAO, Ludovic, Lukkas, OCP, Efe Akmen and LCAO, REST is the music of Con+ainer’s artists and guests with live reactive and generative visuals. This installation will see it’s inauguration at GNRation, a digital arts and music venue in Braga, and will remain open to public until the 24th of March. For the celebrations, LASERS will perform his Live AV show, followed by DJ sets from Ludovic and Nitronious.
LASERS - PORTO
As we get closer to the inauguration of our first AV installation, which will happen on the 27th of February at GNRation in Braga (Portugal), we decided it would be nice to tease a bit on LASERS’s AV show, one of our guests for the inauguration party. Featuring visuals from the Grandpa’s Lab studio, the live-act by LASERS features plenty of broken beats, atmospherics and eye-inducing diabetes abstract and organic visuals. Check out Grandpa’s Lab page on their work in collaboration with LASERS http://grandpaslab.pt/portfolio_page/lasers-visuals/ LASERS is also on Soundcloud and Facebook https://soundcloud.com/lasers https://www.facebook.com/lasersounds/ Video credits: "Porto" - Written and performed by LASERS Visuals by Grandpa's Lab Cinematography: Tiago Lessa Editing: Pedro Lopes & Tiago Lessa A Con+ainer Production Special thanks to Patch Porto
LCAO - FORBIDDEN TRANSITIONS
After teasing you with LCAO's debut EP "Allowed Transitions" back in January (with amazing remixes by JGYB, Marabou and Ludovic), we finally present you the whole story, as told by our mad scientist himself. Between the debut release and this concluding album, LCAO's sonic experiments gathered a surprisingly diverse support, from radios to superbands such has Jazzanova. If "Allowed Transitions" was an intense dizzy journey that served as an introduction to LCAO's unique sound, "Forbidden Transitions" showcases the man's whole musical range: from chaotic, melody-driven busy tracks to smooth, gliding ambient tracks and some rather exotic dancefloor suitable bits in between.
Again, this is one of those Con+ainer releases that you have to hear to believe it. Available now on Whatpeopleplay, Beatport, Juno Download and other main digital stores.
