A vampire? Speaking to her so willingly? How- odd. Yet, when he began speaking, she listened. How is it like...what? Was what she thought, eyeing the man in-front of her, standing not far away from her. Her hands, by her sides, gauntlets ready just in-case. However, he seemed to not be showing any malice as such she showed none either. Wait...a family? Right, she was told vampires eventually forget their human lives, which seemed rather sad in all honesty. If she became a Vampire, she would fight for her memories with her squad. âA family, are people you can trust, side by side, live or die. Through good and bad, we stand together, protect each other, we balance out each otherâs weaknessâs, we never abandon each other, unless we are forced and we shall return stronger to save the others.â Then, a pause. âA family, is not by blood, but by how one acts. We are united, no matter how grim life can be, together, we make it better. Despite our differences, we can aim for a future together.â
Skills beyond my comprehension? Considering, how old he likely was, that was no surprise. He, truly lacked the knowledge of what a family is? â...You, forgot, I presume? That- seems saddening. I would be very alone, without my family.â Then, her violet eyes stared back to the vampire. No fear, no nerves, nothing at all. She was steeled, at this point. âIt is, incredible, I love them, I would die for them, no vampire, no God could make me ever harm them.â Of course, someone could blackmail her to obey them v.i.a threatening her family, buy no less. âMy family, and myself...yes, I would become the enemy of the world, to keep them safe.â It was odd, being asked such questions, yet she still spoke like a soldier.Â
âHaving a family, is a true gift. As a child, I was alone, raised as a Jujo, second highest clan behind the Hiragiâs. My only duty in life, was to serve them, to end my own existence should I be captured because it would damage said family. No one could speak to me as a human, they had to act, speak in accordance. Until I met my family, who treated me as a person not a tool, nor an item, not as a princess.â Another pause, she soon folded her arms. âThey add something, to a grim world. We laugh, we cry, we fight together and with one another, we win together or lose together. So long as I know their will is with me, separated from them in person or with them in person, I can be strong. It is having the most trust worthy people ever in your life, a feeling...so strong, it is difficult to place into words. We love each other, and cherish each other, we are equals...weâre family.â This is embarrassing.
