Wake me up inside

It so happens that I am, allegedly, co-owning this Tumblr... page, blog, or whatever you cool people call it. I have to say that’s literally the best thing that happened in my life during the past five minutes.

To be polite though: my name is xX_dedotated.sniper666_Xx and I am basically writing this in case someone actually visits here in the future. I enjoy long winter nights, hot chocolate and rigorous fisting. My role here is twofold: to make the other author not feel as lone and also to severely damage the page’s code while attempting to steal someone else’s monetised work. That doesn’t mean I am a bad person by the way. I am just a very radical promoter of open source.

Knowing the main contributor here (and seeing the first post) I can already tell this is off to a great start. So, let me raise my glass of water in the air while typing and lower it again, because doing this just with one hand is not as efficient. Point is - good luck, blog page thing. I christen you with the few puddles of water now occupying my table to bear the name of Lot, better known among us educated few as the Supreme Emperor of Biblical Incest. Way to go, blog page thing.

Rainy Russian Street Photography Resembles Oil Paintings by Eduard Gordeev

With the sole use of a camera, St. Petersburg-based photographer Eduard Gordeev creates wistful images of romance, which resemble oil paintings, around the iconic landmarks of Russia and Lisbon. Without the presence of a drop of paint, Gordeev captures the stormy skies and foggy film of the brooding landscape.

The artist layers and executes each blurred droplet with elegance and purpose. They beautifully swirled around the pavements and hit the camera screen in and out of focus. The bright colors are intentionally intensified and reflected on the scenery. To mimic the technique of oil, he skillfully blurs and diffuses light and shadows, following the Impressionists approach in movement.

The darkened skies, and drops of rain, which cloak the faces of strangers and the lights of the city come alive under the spell of the rain. The cosy weather conjures up enough magic to take an observer back in time and relive the hidden mystery and long forgotten beauty of classical oil paintings.

Considering the reputation this website has, I'm generally a bit skeptical about this, but hey, since when did I care about what sort of a rep are things covered in. It's really only that. A cover.
