Coq au Vin

Coq au Vin is a classic French dish. Chicken with mushrooms in wine sauce will be a delight for you. This dish may seem plain in appearance, but its taste will win your heart once and for all.

Fry the chicken until golden brown. We torment it together with onions and garlic. Add wine, chicken broth and crispy bacon pieces. All this will make our sauce spicy and expressive. To make the dish even more delicious, take out the chicken and add the mushrooms. They will absorb all the flavors and juices and will become an indispensable part of the dish. As soon as the sauce with mushrooms thickens, we make it more creamy and return the chicken to the pan so that it becomes part of the dish. Serve with parsley leaves and leek rings.

Frittata

Frittata is the perfect Italian breakfast. Light, creamy with lots of vegetables.

This dish is made from a whipped mixture of eggs, milk, sour cream, Bulgarian sweet pepper, healthy spinach and garlic. We will bake the frittata in the oven, you can cook it in a cast-iron frying pan over medium-medium heat.

Toppings can be chosen according to your taste:

• Spinach, artichokes and feta cheese

• Broccoli, cheddar and green onions

• Cremini mushrooms, arugula and goat cheese

• Cherry tomatoes, zucchini, mozzarella and basil

For best results, use heavy cream, yogurt, sour cream and fat milk. So the taste will be rich, and the frittata will be dense.

Croque Madame

Croque Madame is a French sandwich with ham and cheese, and a fried egg on top. The sandwich is fried to a crisp, hence the name "croque" translated as "crispy". Sandwich with cheese and ham filling inside. The sandwich itself is dipped in cheese and cream sauce and fried until crisp. The egg is fried in such a way that the yolk is slightly covered with a translucent film, but remains liquid inside. Before you start eating a sandwich, you should cut the egg so that the yolk flows out onto the sandwich itself.

We used Gouda cheese, it can be replaced by Comté, Emmental, Jarlsberg or Gruyere. It all depends on your region of residence.

Nicoise Salad

Nicoise salad is a French salad with tuna, string beans, boiled potatoes, eggs and a marinade of onions and herbs. The perfect dish for a summer dinner with dry white wine.

Nicoise is similar to an American Cobb Salad, but with tuna, beans and potatoes.

We took canned tuna for the salad, but you can take fresh and cook it on the grill.

All ingredients are cut into the same size. The salad is mixed right before serving.

Pork Bulgogi

Pork Bulgogi is a delicious noodles with pork. The perfect combination of grilled meat in spices with slices of juicy apple and your favorite cellophane noodles. The classic dish of South Korea combines a palette of flavors and colors. When I tried this dish, I immediately realized that it would become my favorite among Asian masterpieces.

How to cook bulgogi?

Prepare the marinade for the meat. Mix garlic, ginger, sesame oil, sugar, soy sauce, add the pungency of cayenne pepper flakes. Pork tenderloin should be of the best quality that you can find in a butcher shop. We cut the meat into thin strips of small width. Marinate the meat for 15-20 minutes, this is enough to make it fragrant and rich with the taste of spices. Next, quickly fry thin slices of carrots. Fry our fragrant meat. We return the carrots back to the meat and add the pea pods. Add some soy and oyster sauces to add even more flavor. Boil the noodles. We cut slices of juicy apple. Mix everything and you're done!

We prepare the dough. It's simple. Mix flour, salt, olive oil and warm water. Knead the dough with your hands or in a combine. We prepare a filling of chicken, fresh mushrooms, celery and leeks. Fill the filling with cream and leave to saturate. Roll out the dough into a mold and fill with filling. Cover with the second half of the dough and send it to the oven to bake. Done!

Classic Shrimp Étouffée is a dish of French cuisine. Étouffée is a French word meaning "smothered" or "suffocated" This dish is made of fresh shrimp, celery, sweet pepper, tender roux, tomatoes, garlic. It turned out incredibly tasty and colorful.

How to cook roux?

Butter must be melted over low heat so that it becomes "clean" and golden in color. Add flour and bring to a light brown cream condition. Roux will give the dish softness and creaminess.

How to cook shrimp broth?

You can cook the shrimp broth yourself. For the shrimp broth, we took the shrimp heads and boiled them in water on maximum heat for 5 minutes. The broth was filtered through cheesecloth so that it would become clean.

Tomatoes. Tomatoes can be used both fresh, finely chop them, and canned together with juice.

How to cook the whole dish?

Make shrimp broth, make roux, peel and chop vegetables. Add vegetables, shrimp broth, garlic, salt and pepper to the roux. Add the shrimp themselves for 3-5 minutes and remove from heat. Boil the rice and serve it on the table.
