i love you dream thieves adam and the anger that he carries through out the book. cabeswater screams at him and shows him apparitions as in look at me im bleeding too help me, help me. because cabeswater being out of balance parallels adam's character journey in the same way the night horrors parallel ronan's and we know this. but. this is a seventeen year old boy that has lost his home. his father beat the hearing out of one of his ears, he can barely pay his bills or eat a complete meal. he wants to break down but then people look at him and go oh he's going to break down so then he goes well. im not going to that actually. eye twitch. breaks down anyway (bc why wouldn't he??) and then the girl he likes doesn't want to kiss him so he thinks am i really that undesirable and unwanted. and she finally tells him that it was never going to be him. and the first thing he sees when he scries for the first time is his father again. the trailer park again. but at the end he embraces cabeswater and pulls another card and basically says i deserve to feel better. so. dream thieves adam, right.
also yeah he can smash those figurines again for me actually.
