Lace talks about the Flesh God. (Terrible name, I know)

Very inspired by my Silksong screenshots I did a while ago (specifically with *shadow* Dewi). I don’t have much experience sketching Lace, but she hates Dewi and Sam with a passion. I wanted to draw an interaction between them, albeit more from an outsiders perspective. An in person reaction may be in part 2.
This is also more of an experimental comic. More emphasis on color backgrounds and with a very simple pallet and character design. I got inspired by another comic artist.
Ok so Idk if anybody else watched the new episodes of Hazbin Hotel, so spoilers abound, but I think I cracked the code on what gets a soul in the show into Heaven or Hell and I need to get this thought out of my head before I implode and then explode.

Okay so I haven't been able to watch the new season fully yet since I'm waiting for the full season to be out to binge it with my friend, but I saw the Sir Pentious trial on a clip and his regret/self-perceived failure over doing nothing to stop a client who went on to kill several women. He mentions taking that regret with him to hell, and how his last act before being sent to Heaven was finally doing something in trying to protect Cherry. And that fact just sat in my head like a burrowing worm, couldn't help feel like the word choice was significant.
So I looked back at the episodes in season 1 to see if I could pick anything up from subtext, songs, small visual details, anything. And I've been sitting here for about 14 minutes re-listening to 'Hell is Forever', and listening to Adams lyrics "Are the winners, are the sinners, 'cuz it's cut and dry", and I thought
"... Wait, what if that's *literally* it?"
What if the only determining factor on whether someone gets into heaven or hell is if they feel like a 'winner' or not? What if the ONLY factor is if a soul feels personally successful about their life?
Pentious died with that immense regret, and he got into Heaven only after he mended that regret. Meanwhile we have a knobhead like Adam who is so self-absorbed and petty that he would ALWAYS think he's the best and super-successful, which by this theory would guarantee him a slot in Heaven, because it's purely based on YOUR OWN self-fulfillment.
I need to know if I just realized something super-obvious or if I actually pieced together the secret behind where a soul goes in this show, I feel like I'm going to combust and then turn into a dolphin.
