Lies & Love start with a letter L
It’s been a whole night since you’ve been locked away, even the day went by and you were frustrated at how ridiculous it was to escape your room, not only does the beast of deceit play tricks, but the spire as well…. Later in the night, you heard the knock and the familiar show host like voice behind the door.
“Is our guest awake and hungry?”
You didn’t answer, however you were hungry, but you weren’t going to trust anything here, let alone the cookie’s in charge…
“Now now, we can’t have our guests starve to death, master shadow milk is humbly inviting you to dinner with him as we speak.”
“Tch, you’re joking right?”
“Come now, surely you haven’t eaten all day or night. Not to mention he’ll surely bring you over in other ways.”
Right…. Like a hook waiting for a fish to come by to take the bait…. However you couldn’t exactly trust the words of liar… you were escorted to the table, and you were expecting Black Sapphire or the litttle one to be joining, only to hear the door close behind you without the two in sight… you were even more confused when there was no light…. When suddenly, candles flickered to life and your captor stood under a spotlight you couldn’t quite figure out where it came from.
“Goood evening my dear guest, come and take a seat for I am your humble host for tonight.”
The jester before you gestures to the chair with a snakelike pattern on it, you looked at him suspiciously, before going to take the seat, when you did sit down he pushed you in, as you hear him hum to himself. He seems oddly chipper tonight…
“Tell me, what type of drink do you prefer tonight?”
“ah! Scratch that, I’ll make a guess.”
The guess was suspiciously correct… he only smiles as you eye him with caution… who knows what this Jester is capable of….
“Such a hostile expression… I’m just being a reliable host… you are my guest after all.”
“Says the beast of deceit…”
Shadow milk slowly yet surely took your hand, guiding it to take the glass to your lips. Almost as if taking a bite from an apple of forbidden knowledge itself… as the liquid was about to pass your lips and into your mouth, Black Sapphire thankfully interrupted, a sigh of relief from you, while a grunt of annoyance from shadow milk.
“Master Shadow Milk, it would appear that pure vanilla cookie is nearly at your doorstep… should I stall for time?”
“Tch… and here I thought pure vanilly would allow us time alone together…”
Shadow milk let go of the glass, and floated over to the door.
“Be sure our guests is well fed. I don’t want to hear as much as a sound from starving…”
“Yes master shadow milk cookie.”
With that Shadow milk left the room, leaving you alone with the purple “gentleman” as you stayed vigilant.
“Apologies for the interference, do enjoy your meal.”
You only gave him the stink eye, the distrust clear in your expression. Black sapphire’s smile twitched, clearly not enjoying this encounter all together… he cleared his throat as he came closer to you.
“Now now, no need for hostility. My master has an… interest to you…”
“Yes, though I can’t quite see it… it’s been interesting to see him like this… usually he’d toy with small cookie’s such as you….”
“Tch, you think I’m falling for that? Please…”
“I may be a servant of deceit, but I’m speaking the truth… and I do what is asked of me by my master…”
You heard a his, looking down you see the chairs snakelike design come to life, wrapping around you, you struggled but the grip was tight. When you looked up, you met black sapphire’s eyes, now devoid of its previous charm.
“When he says you eat, you will eat what’s given to you, if he says sleep, you do so immediately… I do what I must for my master, and you… shall do the same.”
You panicked a bit, only to realize one thing, a smug smirk came on your face.
“He won’t let you kill me… would he?”
Black sapphire seemed twitch a bit, a small hint that your hunch was correct. You met his eyes.
“Something tells me he’s not going to kill me… but he’s putting me on a higher pedestal than you… isn’t he?”
“Ah ah… wouldn’t want your master to find a single bruise or cut on me under your care… that would be bad news.”
“….Hehehe hahaha! You cocky little brat… you’re lucky…”
“Orders are orders though.. and his orders are to make sure you eat properly, so, if I have to force feed you… I will.”
“Pure vanilla cookie, are we sure this note was from {Reader} cookie?”
“I’ve known them for many years… and they’ve done everything they could to protect me as must as I tried to protect them… I can’t imagine what they may be going through at the hands of shadow milk-!”
“PURE VANILLA COOKIE LOOK OUT!”
With that a large gust of wind, swirls around making White Lilly and pure vanilla cookie cover their eyes, when they opened them, they were met with Candy Apple cookie.
“Haha! Got you! You thought I was master shadow milk cookie didn’t you?”
“Where is {Reader} cookie?”
“Ah ah ah! You will have to get through some trials my master has set up just to get to them, my master won’t let them go so easily.”
“Wait, so {Reader} cookie is with shadow milk cookie, it wasn’t a trick?”
“Suuuuure wasn’t! By the time you get to them, they’ll be as loyal as a dog to my master!”
“Ta ta! See you at the first trial!!!”
With that Candy Apple vanished, must’ve been shadow milk’s doing… pure vanilla cookie wasn’t going to give up till he’s gotten you back. You were dear to him… you had to have known that….
“Hold on {Reader} cookie, we’re coming.”
