I obviously won’t be eating this tonight, but tomorrow I’ll probably make some more chili oil and boil up some noodles. Dinner is gonna be delicious.

I made my own proper spicy miso ramen following Seon k Young’s recipe and it turned out so amazing. I made my own chili oil and everything. I didn’t add egg or kimchi but instead went for my favorite menma (bamboo shoots) as a topping. 10/10 will make again.

This took me about 2.5 hours to make but now that I know how to do it, I could cut it down about about an hour and a half. It’s really good!

I am not really a fan of ‘reimagining’ meat based meals as vegan, all of my favorite vegan meals are naturally vegan. I love this red beans and rice recipe from sweet potato soul (I don’t include the bean-sausage):

Low country broil

I decided to make post because it quick, easy, and best of all cheap so you can make a good meal even living on the struggle bus.

Non ingredients:

Tin-foil

Baking tray

Non-vegetarian option

Ingredients:

Small red potatoes

Extra sweet Frozen mini corn on cob

Small bag of frozen small peeled and deveined shrimp

Smoked Sausage log (I used hellshire farms Cajun style)

Imitation crab

Old bay

Salt

Pepper

Vegetarian option

Ingredients:

Small red potatoes

Frozen Brussel sprouts

Squash

Frozen extra sweet mini corn on cob

Cabbage

Smal zuchinni

How to cook:

Wash your potatoes (why do I have to write this)

Preheat oven to 360 F

Cut a median sized squar of tin foil

In the middle of each piece put one cut up red potato one thing of corn and an assortment of your other ingredients

Once every thing is in the middle, take old bay, salt, and pepper and season well.

Fold the tin foil over half way then take the other side and fold over that

Flatten the ends and fold down twice on both sides so you have a nice little packet like so-

Place packets on baking tray

Bake until potatoes are tender

Eat
