Fungal like growth on an abraded Jezero Crater Rock surface on Mars
Same area sol 292 / 293. Much less gunk
This is a colourized picture of a small portion of the surface of a rock that was being prepared as one of the samples for later collection by a future Mars Mission. In my view, the image shows a number of biosignatures. Look carefully at the small spheres and filaments that abound in it. The two source images that were combined to make this image were taken by the Perseverance Rover on Sols 292 and 293 of the Mission.
