Day 289. (10/16/18) Today's plan was a day trip to the Hiroshima area. First we went to the Atomic Bomb dome and memorial area. The next plan to go to Ikusushima fell through due to time constraints. We explored Hiroshima until our scheduled Shinkansen was to depart.
Day 288. (10/15/18) After a breakfast of jiggly pancakes, we went to Arashiyama to check out the Bamboo forest and monkey park. Afterwards we had a nice steak dinner.
Day 287. (10/14/18) We transition over to Kyoto via the Shinkansen. We had some okonomiyaki for dinner.
Day 286. (10/13/18) Today we went to the Tokyo Sky Tree and Shinjuku. We tried out the Metal Gear Solid reality game and it was really fun, but killed my legs in the process of crouching up and down multiple times from hiding from armed guards.
Day 285. (10/12/18) A full day in Akihabara is not enough time. A wallet full of money would not last long either here.
Day 284. (10/11/18) Today was mainly us visiting the Ghibli Museum, and checking out whatever else was interesting along the way.
Day 283. (10/10/18) Tried to visit the new Toyosu Fish Market, but the grand opening was more for the media. Afterwards went to the Ginza area for Tokyo Station, Godzilla statue, and Imperial Palace Gardens.
Day 282. (10/9/18) First day of our trip to Japan. After a 11ish hour flight from LA, we arrived at Narita International Airport. After checking in to our Airbnb, we had our first real Japanese meal at a local ramen place here in Sumida, Tokyo.
Day 281. (10/8/18) It's the night before my big trip to Japan. I'm pretty much packed up and ready to go.
Day 280. (10/7/18) Packing up for long international flights in a couple days.
Day 279. (10/6/18) I didn't get great photos of the Blue Angels as I was using my phone, but it's better than nothing. I was also testing my new gimbal so I was taking more videos than photos.
Day 278. (10/5/18) Got myself a new tool for video shooting for my trip in a few days.
Day 277. (10/4/18) Testing out those clip on lens I got from Miniso on a friend. Looks like someone looking through a peephole.
Day 276. (10/3/18) Last day at work before I leave on a big trip.
Day 275. (10/2/18) Just a couple days ago I had to deal with a spider, and now this. I'm gonna have trust issues with this celling vent that I think these things are coming from. Everytime I go to my bathroom now, I always look up to see if anything's crawling around.
Day 274. (10/1/18) MapleStory 2 has started here in the US today, if you buy the founder's pack. If not, you'll have to wait until Oct 10th.
Day 273. (9/30/18) This is what I almost walk into in my bathroom, a spider dangling from the ceiling.
