MCC Smart Eco-Speedster, 1993
Unrestrained summer fun
the clanging of his armored ass cheeks brought down the walls of many a castle

i remember adults telling me, as a kid, to listen to doctors and get my flu vaccine and any shots i could because they remembered Before.
then they started fighting Covid precautions.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that the ozone was disappearing and the earth was dying and we needed to recycle and save the planet.
now my parents think climate change is a myth.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that racism was a plague, that we had to love and accept everyone, that we should never judge before walking a mile in their shoes.
then they told me that protesting for my Black siblings was wrong.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that we needed to give to the poor. working at soup kitchens. making quilts. collecting food and money and supplies. building houses. because it was the christian and just plain right thing to do.
now they look at me, on food stamps with their grandchildren, and lament the "welfare state".
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and that any rich man, especially an immoral one, should never run our country.
you can guess who they voted for.
i remember adults telling me, as a kid, so very much.
when did they forget?
Time to bring this back. Again.
Apparently this is evergreen. Dammit.
I remember adults telling me, as a kid that girls can be equal to boys in all fields including athletics. Now, they consider girls to be delicate flowers who could never hope to compete against boys.
a cartoon for the guardian
discovered that wordle is a fantastic way to forget every single word in the entire english language and awaken the part of your brain that still remembers being a primordial amoeba
Me rn. Pleaseeeee let me be safeeeee
we need a fictional wheelchair user who does all the unrealistic bullshit cars and motorcycles do in fiction. i wanna see a wheelchair do the akira slide. i need a high speed chase with a nitro-fuelled wheelchair where the character out-maneuvers cop cars. does anyone understand me
She was only a minor character but fiore Forvedge was so cool for this
can’t believe Doctor Who is so woke and political now, they acknowledge that trans people exist, why can’t we go back to the good old days, with no politics, when we had such themes as:
space nazis are the villain
a metaphor for the Vietnam war is the villain
big corporations are the villain
colonialism is the villain
rich humans are the villain
big corporations are the villain
politicians are the villain
unfair taxation is the villain
big corporations are the villain
capitalism is the villain
a society parodying Thatcher is the villain
environmental destruction is the villain
big corporations are the villain
Future societies operate on levels of gender you can’t even comprehend
racism is the villain
big corporations are the villain
There was never anything political about any of that!
Welcome to the age of enthusiasm.
Unironically love this
