Random Musing

I’m not one to usually make posts like this, but I can’t stand this mess anymore. Why can’t we have some peace? Why must America be such a violent place? So many protests, so many debates and yelling and angry rage. I’m so tired of this. Why can’t we just come together and agree on what would be the best for our people? For our children and nieces and nephews and grandchildren and parents and grandparents. Why can’t we as the new generations do something productive and inspiring, not damaging and detrimental? Why can’t we just spread peace and love and understanding?

I know that’s a wonderful wish, but an unrealistic goal. However, why can’t we make some change for good? It seems like the changes we want to make are for the benefit of the politician, not of the people. We need to do something about the border, strengthen the protection, strengthen our immigration laws.

I don’t agree with abortion, but a woman should still have a right to do it if she wishes. However, get an Ultra Sound, see that child inside of you, and choose from there. Make an informed decision and decide what you can live with, not what someone is trying to convince you of. And if you are at risk of carrying that child and it is not viable yet, do what you need to do for you. Its better to try again later, than not have the life to be able to try again with. The woman is just as important as the fetus.

And people of all race, you are loved and cherished and have so much to give to the world. Black, Muslim, Asain, White, this is all of our world. This is our home away from home. Whoever you believe in, the great creator created you with love and devotion. You are his children. You deserve love and peace and life. It doesn’t matter what skin color or ethnicity you are, you are a person and you deserve to have a good life just as much as anyone.

With the 2016 elections coming up, let’s get together as a loving body of people. Let’s be patriotic again, let’s care about our blessed country and let’s make a difference in the President who will represent us. Who will love and care for our people and our country. Who will represent us in the world, who will strengthen our bonds with our allies, and who will devote themselves to the peace and balance of our citizens, our safety, and our future.

Can we please make a difference and end all this fighting and hate?

She frowned and folded her arms, “Was worth a shot…how many people could say that they had an alien sleep in their room with them?” It would have been so cool, she thought. Hiro tapped on her chin before calling Baymax. “Show him where you and I are at when we go home…I think he’ll be able to get there when he needs to rest…unless you’d rather stay here? I can’t imagine sewers or what have you are all that pleasant.”

“He could stay at my place,” Fred piped up. “Could fit half the city there…”

Cooper looked over at Fred and raised a brow. “.... I think I can manage here. This wouldn’t be the first time I’ve dug my little caves in a city...” He looked back at Hiro and gave her a little smirk.

She nodded and adjusted to help him get her in a good position. “Alright. We can work for maybe an hour tonight and then we’ll have to head home to sleep. There’s a lot of homework and classwork for us to do tomorrow and we’ll need rest. We can continue to help tomorrow after we’re done until we need to go home again…”

Hiro paused before tapping on his arm, “Do you need a place to stay that’s more comfortable? There’s enough room in my room for you…I think.” It was better than being underground. She might be able to pull out a blow up mattress. She’d sleep on that one and he could have her bed…if only because Tadashi’s bed is off limits. She didn’t want to lose his smell yet, not ready to let go of it.

“... I do not think I would fit very well. Look, I’m like 15, 20 feet in height? I’m not fitting in there without breaking something. However, the offer is appreciated.” He gave her a little nod whilst working. Yeah, sounded good.

“I can probably just dig underground near your home. As in a few blocks down. That would work.”

Cooper whipped his head around with a startled grunt. Who was this?!

Vult felt an immense presence nearby, and could see a large figure in the distance. He was curious as to who or what it was, but was unsure how to act.

He warily approached the other, warbling under his breath. 

Strange… Very strange… He stopped a few feet away, and stared back.

The spirit remained where he stood as the being approached a bit closer, and tilted his head curiously.

Cooper’s hand flashed out, snagging the other like lightning. The second he touched him he began bombarding him with his thoughts.

“What are you doing here? Have you come to capture me or kill me? For your sake I sure hope not!”

“So you’re just going to be some kind of metal detector?” Hiro rubbed her neck and sighed, watching distractedly as he changed his arms. Well that was weird and slightly creepy…but really cool. Wish I could have more than two arms, she thought wistfully.

Simply following him around didn’t seem like they would be able to contribute much of anything. If they couldn’t find them without him being there, what was the point? But they wanted to help so…they’d figure something out.

Cooper nodded. “Yes. I can dig tunnels, you can get them from above ground. That way I remain out of sight, yet I can help find them.” he explained. 

The fact that Hiro was watching his arms did not go unnoticed. “Yes, I can split my arms. Easier to dig that way.” The alien gently plucked Hiro up off the ground, and put her on his shoulder before continuing.

“Well, it’s kind of cool and–gup!” She yelped as she was plucked off of the ground and set up somewhere high, on his shoulder. Hiro shot him a look that was almost a pout before relaxing and taking her fate a little more gracefully.

“So you dig, we follow above ground, you what, send up a signal to let us know that we’re almost on it, and then we grab it for you?” That could work.

“Yes. That would be the general idea.” He walked on, mindful of the girl’s position. Cooper began arranging a few things here and there as he went.

After seeing what he had and studying them a bit, Hiro sighed and ran a hand through her hair. “How do we find them? Do they do anything to the environment around them or is there a way to track them?” They couldn’t just go looking for things that they didn’t know how to find…but Hiro had brought out Baymax to help them look the cubes over.

“I ask because it could take time to program Baymax’s scanners to locate them.”

“Ah~ Well, I have a few already. They’re attracted to each other. Basically it’s a game of follow the leader.” he explained. “I control them once I’m within a certain distance. That, and they’re magnetic.” Cooper gesticulated as he spoke, hi four arms merging into two.

“No but dude this is awesome! He couldn’t be more excited to meet an alien. Wait until he told his dad. He’d love it.

Hiro only rolled her eyes and smiled up at Cooper. At least he was taking all of this well. Hiro was glad for that, and glad that the team wasn’t freaking out as much the longer they were around. 

” So will you guys help?” the answer was yes.

“Thank you... I have a few argus cubes I can show you so you know what to look for.” Cooper looked very pleased. For once since his arrival here someone actually cared. Someone wanted to help him.

They were all a little scared and a little more shocked. One of them make have squeaked but she wouldn’t say who it was. “Solo this is Cooper ..he’s trying to get home and I told him that we would try out best and do what we could. If you don’t want to, that’s okay, I can do it but…yeah. He won’t hurt you…but if he touches you, that’s just so he can talk.” Not having to be told twice, Fred bounced happily to hold out a hand to shake.

Cooper gave Fred a funny look before lightly shaking his hand, working his way through the group. “Fred......... You’re not on drugs are you?”

Because he was acting like it. Hyper beyond comprehension. Cooper gave Hiro a little smirk and a small nudge.
