“....So....I think someone should throw a party soon...could be fun”
“Oh, good! I’m glad. Ooh! Maybe you should have some orange juice and a sugary doughnut… That’s what they do when you give blood and get all whoozy I think,” she nodded encouragingly. Charlie didn’t exactly have much… experience, with the godly side of it all. Warrior princess-ing. ‘Hunting’. Still, she nodded sagely. At least, she thought she was coming off as very wise. “Ah, of course. A classic error. Must be uh, mindful not to do that again, huh? What would Annabeth Chase-Jackson do, that’s what we have to think always.”
“Sugar?” Cooper tilted his head a bit. He kept a very strict diet to keep himself in optimal shape. I suppose it couldn’t hurt” Cooper grumbled out a bit and rolled his eyes ‘Normally, I could handle something like that. I was just..distracted. I’ve been too goddamn distracted lately.” He looked down a bit before resuming his composure “I’m sorry for that”
Foster just grunted in frustration under his breath. Usually, Foster was okay with people being stubborn, but when it came to someone almost dying or being in trouble, he disliked doing anything that could injured them more. “Yeah, we’re almost there.” Foster replied once he saw the building in the distance. “Emergency Treatment Needed!” He yelled as they came to the door. The doors to the Infirmary immediate flung open and the lights turned on in the building. Foster then continued to help Cooper inside and to a gurney nearby.
Cooper almost fell on the gurney and looked up at Will. He knew the later Will would be pissed at him later, and Cooper was scared that it would jeopardize their friendship. Cooper was flicking in and out of consciousness, and leaned over to grasp Foster’s hand. “ ‘M sorry,” He mumbled and then looked up at the ceiling.
kasey-dalena:
“Alright…” Kasey smiled and beamed down at the puppy. “Yeah, he is. I am, actually.”
“I’m totally jealous” Cooper grinned and winked “Don’t be surprised if I steal him!”
“Easy. I’m brilliant. And also maybe a figment of your imagination. Who knows?”
“Hmmm we could always spar to prove both of those claims?”
“Oh my goodness gracious, what did I miss? Are you okay? Was it fatal? Do you still have all your toes!? Oh my gods, how will you ever wear an open-toed shoe again…”
“Oh, I’m fine. You needn’t worry. I’m mostly okay, just a bit woozy still. Should be back to myself in like a week or so,” Cooper smiled lightly “Well, I just took on more than I could handle while hunting...”
“It’s moments like this that startle me in terms of all these half-godly relations we share. Although, I’ll admit I can at least appreciate your hubris. Next time be right about it, will you? You being skewered to death would probably cast a very depressive shadow over the cabin and I don’t need that.”
“I could have handled it. I just was distracted by...other thoughts. Which was incredibly foolish. I’ve never made such a grievous error before,” Cooper sighed a bit “I don’t really think people would notice all that much, but I appreciate the minute sense of caring. And how have you been?”
“Uh, zombie apocalypse. Everyone’s dead.”
“Sounds rough....how did you survive?”
“I’m sorry. I would have visited you but I didn’t know you were in the infirmary.” he gave him a small smile. He looked down at the puppy. “I actually found him around the time you and I talked before.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Cooper said quietly, not liking talking about personal things too much “That’s cool, he’s really cute. Are you planning on keeping him at camp?”
Foster scoffed and shook his head. “We’re not going faster. You’re badly injured, we don’t want to make it worse.” Foster firmly stated as he grabbed the fabric of Cooper’s pants around the waist, and tried to lift him a bit higher, but was careful not to hit his wound. “Don’t hold back, it’s therapeutic to yell or cuss. It helps to power through the pain.”
“Foster come on....” Cooper begged. He already thought that most campers didn’t like him, and if they saw this, they’d probably think that he was some kind of dramatic freak or something He was beginning to feel very faint, and knew that the venom was probably spreading “We almost there?” He mumbled, barely able to form the words.
.
“Gods. And what act of stupidity got you in there, hm?”
“Well, I tried fighting two Manticore alone and one of their spikes nailed me in the chest”
destructive-damian:
Nah, you’re just telling yourself that so you don’t have to be ashamed I had you. It’s okay. It’s understandable, I had plenty of training out there on the quest. But hey, you won that round. Don’t feel too bad.
What? You think you actually could beat me? I don’t want to sound cocky, but I seriously doubt that. All I do is train, nearly 24/7. I think I have a bit of an advantage.
“You really haven’t missed much, at all.” Kasey held Zeke in his arms, he was in the process of bringing him to get stuff from the pet store.
“Seems like it, honestly. I wouldn’t have known, as no one visited me i the Infirmary” Cooper said a bit bitterly. He had thought that he had friends, or maybe his siblings would come, but alas, no one. Cooper eyed Zeke and blinked “When’d ya get that?”
“I’m finally out of the infirmary, what have I missed?”

Foster nodded and tried his best to help Cooper stand up. He grabbed Cooper’s arm and placed it over his shoulder, he then wrapped an arm around Cooper’s waist, careful not to hit his wound and started to walk towards the Infirmary. “Alright, don’t exert yourself. We’ll go at your own speed.” Foster said he tried to get Cooper to place his weight on himself.
Cooper leaned against him and was trying desperately not to cry, though he had never felt something so painful in his life. This was all so embarrassing. This stuff never happened to Cooper, and now his entire cabin was going to think that he’s weak. “Faster...before anyone sees...” He grumbled and tried to walk faster, yelling in pain.
aria-garcia:
“Wait, pull what o–” And that was when Aria saw it. She winced, wishing she were a better healer than witch. “Alright… Stay still, this is going to hurt…” Biting her lip, Aria squeezed his leg and quickly pulled the barb out. She ripped a sleeve off the shirt she was wearing and wrapped it around his leg. “I’m pretty sure pressure is important. Now let’s get you to the infirmary.”
Cooper yelled incredibly loudly when it was pulled out and avoided looking at the wound. When she wrapped it around his wound, it gave some temporary relief, but it was bleeding through rather rapidly “Y..Yeah...thanks...” he groaned out and leaned on her as he walked toward the infirmary.
a-source-for-solace:
“How far into the forest? Copper, look at you.” Foster said as he keeled down by Cooper and examined his wound. “I can’t do much for it here, I mean. I can try to pull it out, but you could possibly bleed to death from the wound.” Foster said as he looked at the wound again.
“Dunno...ugh...was gone a day...”Cooper was barely getting words out now, as it hurt so incredibly badly. “Then let’s go...” He growled a bit and looked down. He had been hurt a lot, but it never hurt this badly before. With a loud yell, he rose to his feet and trudged toward the infirmary.
