Currently watching the 2nd part of the newly arrived Beastars final season and omg in episode 15 where legoshi puts his finger in Jack's mouth after he ate an onion is just too much yaoi energy lmao

I've seen four episodes of the second part of the final season now.

Some things seem too short and heavily abridged to me.

Even the manga had some storylines that I would have liked to see explored in more depth and dealt with in greater detail.

So it was clear to me that this season wouldn't be enough to tell the whole story in detail.

But that's not really a criticism.

No, what I'm particularly excited about this time is the opening and ending.

Especially the ending!

The colors and images, along with their symbolism, are fantastic!

So good that I had to pause the series and make this post because I couldn't stop taking screenshots.

The original, as seen below, was posted on Facebook by a guy in Cincinnati. Someone else saw it and thought they would have more luck propagating it if they changed the city to “Detroit,” because in the American popular consciousness, Detroit is a more infamously blighted city than Cincinnati. And indeed, that version was the one that proliferated, because it resonated more with the people who saw it. The original poster and the original city were forgotten.

Does this really matter to anyone (besides Joshua Cromwell)? Perhaps not. But sometimes people do this with things that are more important than porches…

I wanna reconnect with my brother. I've not worked up my courage enough yet to reach out, we haven't talked for years, and I've changed, but my other brother said he wants to talk to me, whenever I'm ready. and I'd love to talk to him again. and maybe I'm not ready yet, but I think I will be soon. so I wanna live for that. For his warm hugs and laughs and sitting on his couch in his tiny apartment and meeting his husband and petting his dog and getting to know each other again and sending him photos of the sunrise and sunsets because he likes photography... yeah :]

Something that intrigues me about Melon is how tall he is? (the Melon brainrot is strong today)

In the anime scene where he stands behind Legoshi with a knife he's like an inch or two shorter than Legoshi.

So I guess Studio Orange made Melon's model pretty tall, which is probably from Melon's leopard side as most gazelles are pretty small.

Can we do a little group exercise?

I need everyone in the chat to start imagining Melon as a Short King because what if the dad genes did not go to buy milk with that fraud when he left? How many more crashouts would he have 🤣

Imagine if Melon's dad was a Speke's gazelle (the smallest gazelle species) and Melon wound up anywhere from 90to 115 cm. Imagine like Kyu-sized Melon running around killing anyone who pisses him off, folding Legoshi like a lawnchair and bullying the Shishigumi 😁

HI ! YES! i've always thought that short melon is the funniest fucking concept ^w^!

i forgot to answer this because i wanted to do a fully rendered doodle of baby melon using members of the shishigumi to look taller but i got distracted with schooling, but the new season is VERY SOON so here it is now albeit a very rough sketch! short king melon is a beautiful concept actually you're truly onto something here! also thank you the E.T. fandom is treating me very well! [i'm one of the only guys here]
