raleigh’s jaw tightens–and he manages to not reflexively lash out. his temper can flair a good amount of the time. it's the ape in him. that trait shines through.

he knows he can be abrasive. but that is only two times. when he's angry or worried.

rocky can't say he's too surprised , even if it's not like raleigh to outright decline an offer . his arms fold across his chest , brows rising slightly . ❝ pequeño simio , you're not being a bother by having feelings — and i'm not doing anything right now . you're my soul zord , raleigh . i don't like seeing you feeling off . ❞
the ape doesn't like being defiant. not with his ranger. but there's this part of him that doesn't think there's anything worth talking about. he exhales–a low rush of air.
because no surprise–rocky is wearing him down. something that he's always had the ability to do without really trying.
it’s the bond. plain and simple.
‘fine,’ raleigh concedes. ‘let's go before i change my mind.’
zenón gives a nod. he has no issues with how much adam or kelly cares. it's quite obvious. considering both of them camped out with adam when he was recovering.
even if he didn't really need it. there wasn't any trying to convince them otherwise.
he grins, just a little. ‘bien. así no tendré que amenazarte con delatarte al oso.’ like that wouldn't get him scolded too in the process.
he rolls his shoulders. ‘you got enough luchar in you today? ¿te apetece entrenar un poco?’

pizza is happily abandoned on his plate after wiping fingers clean , in favor of wrapping his arms around the frog to pull him flush against him - cheeks lifting in an easy grin as he butts their foreheads together . ❝ jodo saranghaeyo , jageun gaeguriyo . ❞
the frog melts– it's not entirely fair that rocky uses korean against him like that. though, he's not actively complaining either. he sighs and presses closer into the ape.
jason leans against the punching bag, his thoughts straying for only a half second. he knows it's not going to last–but he's happy to be back, not just being a ranger. for however long it's going to be.
‘feels like i never left.’ it was an easy rhythm to fall back into. he exhales, low, before he grins again. ‘missed the hell out of you, though.’
having jason back was like getting back a part of himself that tommy hadn't even really realized was missing . especially after the letter kimberly had sent him - of which he still actually needs to bring up to jason . he's just . . . trying not to think about it because it still stings , for several reasons . ❝ missed you too , man . felt weird not having you here . ❞
funny thing about that letter. kelly has let jason know because of how much she understands the former red means to tommy. she also knows how much it hurts.
jason won't bring it up, that’s for tommy to do. but he's aware. and he's thankful that the bear had.
‘felt weird not bein’ here.’ he agrees. ‘like a part of me was missin’, crazy as that sounds.’
minye tips his head back more without meaning to , can't help it when he's got a pretty crane littering him in kisses . ❝ it's starting to , ❞ he hums with a crooked grin .
arlo pulls back slightly, only enough to look at the frog. ‘only starting to?’ that sounds like a challenge to the crane. before he gives a gentle nip to minye's ear.
