Can I request a crack fic? Where Yuu, obviously new to everything especially dragons, is petting or messing with Malleus’s tail (prolly dating) and then it just falls off like a lizards and Malleus is like “oh 😶” like very deadpanned and expected, meanwhile Yuu is freaking out
Notes: Gender neutral Yuu, fluff, a bit graphic based on lizard anatomy.
description:
Yuu and Mallues have a moment to themselves, and Yuu for the longest time has been curious about their partners real form, and Mallues is more than happy to share that with them, although he doesn't fully shift, he shows her an interesting part he usually keep hidden. Which leads to an unexpected suprise.

Malleus and Yuu were in a flower field, sitting with each other in the soft grass. Malleus watched Yuu, as they held his tail in their hands, gently touching it, handling it with great care.
“Your tail is so well kept.” Yuu commented, noticing how shiny and clean his scales were. Mallues felt proud at the praise coming from his partner, “Yes, a dragon's scales need extra care.” Yuu nodded in understanding, “Makes sense.” They said, before placing their fingers on a certain spot, causing Malleus to tense a bit.
Yuu didn't notice the reaction, and continued with their movements, but stopped when the tail twitched, before the part that Yuu had in their hands detached itself from Malleus.
Yuu’s eyes widened in a panic, “Oh my seven!” Yuu jumped to their feet, while Mallues looked at them confused, before looking at his tail, “Ah pardon me, when my tail gets tickled that tends to happen .” Yuu looked at him horrified, “Your tail! It's-are you ok!?” Yuu couldn’t find the words, not knowing what to focus on.
Malleus simply nodded, trying to get Yuu to sit back down beside him, “I am quite fine child of man, now let's continue our afternoon.”
They did not continue their afternoon. Mallues got an earful from his partner about explaining his dragon traits and how they are very foreign to them.

Malleus Horns || Malleus Draconia x F!Yuu (Reader)
Description:
Yuu often joins Malleus on his club activities, looking at the gargoyles and learning about them. This particular night, Yuu notices something similar between one of the gargoyles and Malleus.
Notes: Fluff, no established relationship, Flirting.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was a lovely and clear night, Yuu and Mallues walked side by side, looking around the ancient ruins to see the gargoyles on display. Malleus spoke of them fondly to Yuu, describing how each one was different from the other.
They then came up to a gargoyle that caught Yuu's eye, the shape of the horns were identical to Malleus. Yuu looked between the gargoyle and Mallues, doing a silent comparison.
Malleus notices her frequent glances, and looks at Yuu with curiosity, “What is it, child of man?” Yuu turned her full focus to Mallues, “Oh I just noticed something similar between you and this gargoyle.” Mallues eyes widened a bit, “Oh what would that be?” Mallues smiled, intrigued to hear Yuu’s answer. “You and this gargoyle have the same horns.” Yuu said, without any sign of caution.
Mallued froze for a moment, looking at the gargoyle, taking a great long look at its horns. A smile then appeared on Mallues face, “Hmmm so it seems.” Yuu laughed, feeling proud of the observation. “I’ve always thought you resemble with the gargoyles, but I haven't seen one with the exact same horns as you.” Malleus felt his heart skip a beat, Yuu had said it so naturally, which told him she really meant it.
Mallues looked away, feeling the tips of his ears heat up, trying to calm his heart down. Yuu looked up, seeing small sparkles of lights fly through the sky. “Mallues?” Yuu looked at the taller man concerned, not knowing what this meant. “Oh, apologies.” Mallues says, before making the small lights disappear. “Thank you, for the high compliment Yuu.” Mallues said, beginning to walk again, with an extra pip in his step.
‘Hehe looks like I made his night.’ Yuu thought to herself, smiling proudly, following after the dragon fae.
Ortho was on his brother's spare computer, working on something, when he clicked on a website, but was stopped by a pop up question. Click here ‘I am not a Robot.’ Ortho froze for a moment, trying to wrap his head around what to do.
He looked over at his brother who was on his bed reading a manga, “Nii~san.” Idia looked up from his pages to look at his little brother. “Yeah?” Ortho brought the computer to him, letting Idia read the text. “Oh, right.” Idia clicked the I am not a robot button for him, letting the screen load. “There.” Ortho smiled, “Thanks Nii~san.” Idia laid back down, opening his manga back up. “No problem.”
Yuu and Ortho were at Ramshackle hanging out, Ortho was on a tablet setting up something for Yuu, while they cleaned up in the kitchen.
Then a blank page with a small pop came up, causing ortho to freeze. He picked up the tablet and floated over to Yuu.
Yuu was drying their hands when Ortho entered the kitchen, “Hey Yuu~chan can you please press this button since Idia isn't here" He holds up his tablet that shows "I'm not a robot button in order to proceed in the site." Yuu chuckled, before pressing the button. “There.” Ortho smiled, “Thank you!”
Final Chapter......
Ace snuck through the hallway, until he heard the sound of a maid and a knight chatting, he immediately ran into a nearby room, which luckily for him was an empty kitchen. He listened as the two passed, before letting out a breath of relief. Which was cut short, when a hand covered his mouth, he immediately panicked and turned around getting ready to fight, but stopped when he saw that it was Rook and Grim. “Shh Monsieur Heart, it's just us.” Ace slapped Rook’s hand away from his mouth.
“What are you doing here? You came in first, you should be farther in than me.” Rook to Grim, “Monsieur Fuzzball couldn’t resist the smell coming from here.” Grim pouted, “We left before I could eat dinner, if I didn’t eat my stomach would have given us away!” Grim defended. “Ok whatever, did you get your fill?” Ace asked, looking annoyed at the dire beast. Grim didn’t say anything, just stood there with his arms crossed, slowly nodded his head.
“Ok, then let’s move.” Ace slowly opened the door, looking into the hallway. “Ok lets go.” Ace whispered, slowly moving out the door, holding it until Rook came following behind him, and Rook held it until Grim crawled out, before slowly closing it, without making a sound.
Mallues and Leona sat in two different seats facing a couch, two guards at the door, and a maid pouring them some tea. “Thanks.” Leona said, taking the cup from the maid, she bowed to him. When she approached Mallues, she tried her best to keep her hands steady, but she couldn't stop the shaking. Malleus watched her, which caused her hands to shake more. She poured the tea, and nervously handed the fae prince his cup. “Thank you.” Mallues said, taking the cup, but not taking a drink.
The king sat in front of them, they were waiting for Charm to show up, before speaking. The king in front of them was sweating bullets, trying not to stare at the two princes in front of him. ‘Hurry up boy.’ The king silently threatened his son. Leona looked towards the door, hearing footsteps approaching, he placed the cup down as the doors opened. Malleus didn't look to the door quite yet, keeping his eyes on the king.
King Kingston stood up, trying to ignore the pressure he was receiving. “Ah Charm, good you're here, please take a seat.” Charm saw the panic in his fathers eyes, ‘We expected one of them to at least visit, but we didn't expect them to arrive at the same time.’ Charm took a seat, as his father sat, once again, with him.
“Mallues Draconia, Leona Kingscholar, what a pleasure to see you again. To what do we owe this honored visit?" Charm flashed them a charming smile. Now came the issue, the two never agreed to who would be speaking, so when the both of them went to speak, their glare changed targets. ‘I shall speak first.’ Malleus silently told Leona. Leona shamelessly clicked his tongue, saying ‘You'll mess it up, I’ll speak.’
The father and son looked at each, not liking the energy coming from the two other royals in front of them. “Ah before that, are you both hungry, we could have the staff bring you something to eat.” King Kingston offered, forcing a pleasant smile on his face. “Please don't trouble yourselves King Kingston, we came here today to discuss what happened at the ball.” Mallues said, seeming to have won the silent argument the two were having. Leona crossed his arms, looking at the two in front of him once again. “Yes, we have a few questions we'd like to ask.”
The prince and father felt their skin turn cold, benign put under a lion's and dragon's gaze was not for the faint of heart. “Of course, ask away.” Charm answered, his smile tensed.
Deuce and Jack snuck through the hallway as quietly as they could, Jack sniffing the air, looking for Yuu’s scent. “Shes down this way.” Jack whispered to Deuce, as he walked in the lead. “I hope she's ok.” Jack silently agreed with Deuce, but paused when he heard voices coming down the hallway. “Hide.” Jack ordered, pushing Deuce and himself into a small storage room.
Deuce and Jack became trapped in the storage room, trying to avoid hitting the boxes around them, hoping for the two people in the hall to pass quickly. “Hey, do you really think Prince Charm is going to marry that peasant girl?” The guards stopped a hair away from the door, deciding to have their conversation there. Deuce held his breath, feeling his heart beat pick up, as he listened to them.
“I mean, if that's what he wishes, then most likely so. He hasn't taken an interest in anyone until now. And he's met some of the most beautiful women in all the lands.” The other guard responded, looking around the hallway as he spoke. “True, but they’ve only met once, which is to say she isn't just after the crown.” Deuce and Jack bit their tongues, trying to contain their rage at the words spotted about their close friend.
“Prince Charm has always had good judgment, we will just have to believe in his decision and see. Maybe she will be a wonderful queen.” The men finished inspecting the hallway, and continued on their way. Deuce and Jack felt a bit of relief, but it didn't last long, Jack's tail brushed against a nearby shield, causing some items to fall.
The two freshmen immediately attempted to catch the items, but one still ended up hitting the floor, making a loud noise. Their eyes widen in a panic, not knowing what to do. The guards quickly turned around, “Who goes there!” They both called out, but didn't get an answer.
Deice and Jack looked at each other silently debating on what to do, “Ok I have a plan, Deuce hide behind those boxes.” Deuce looked at Jack confused, “What about you?” Jack got out his famous pen, “Like Ortho said, I'll be taking care of the guards.” The guard's steps got closer. “Whoever that is, you better come out now.” Deuce hesitated, but did as he was told. Jack closed his eyes, as his magic surrounded him, "Faster, sharper, stronger! Unleash Beast!” In a flash, Jack's human form no longer stood.
The guards opened the door, and were frozen by seeing a pair glowing yellow eyes. “What the-” The guards jumped back when the creator jumped forwards, pushing past them to run through the hall. “Ah wait, stop!” The guard yelled, getting up to chase after Jack, with his partner behind him.
Deuce slowly moved out of the room, and looked around seeing that the hallway was empty once more. “Wait, how am I going to track Yuu?” Deuce whispered in a panic realizing the blunder they had made. “Hey come in, it's Deuce. Me and Jack have been separated. A few guards are chasing Jack thinking he’s just a wolf, but I don't know how long he can keep that up.” Deuce spoke into the device in his ear.
“What?” Ortho said in shock, “Were you both able to locate Yuu’s room yet?” He asked, Deuce looked around, “No, Jack was on her trail, but we didn’t find her, but we have a good idea where she is.” Deuce said, Ortho took a moment to process. “Ok, Deuce, describe where you are, Ace, Rook, and Grim, go find your way to him. Cater and Jack keep up the distraction, let us know immediately if you've been caught.” The three who were traveling in the hall responded, “Roger.” The two who were busy being a distraction couldn't answer, but Ortho knew that they were silently agreeing.
“Ok, i am in the hallway with a bunch of windows, that seems to be on the staff side, because there are-” “Allons, allons, Monsieur Spade, there is no need for that, I apologize sincerely for not filling you all in, but before we had separated, I planted Arrow Afar on each of you.” Everyone's eyes widened, “When!?” The boys who could asked, yelled!
Yuu paced in the room, ‘Ok calm down, calm down. Leona and Malleus being here is a great sign. They will get me out of here.’ Yuu tried to keep her hope up, but she had this feeling in her gut that it wouldn’t be that easy. “Ok breath.” Yuu whispered to herself.
Yuu jumped when she heard yells coming from the hallway, “What the-” Yuu let out a yell when the door to her guest room received a large bag against it. Yuu froze, not not knowing what to do, ‘I obviously can't open it, but I'm trapped in this room.’ Yuu's thoughts caused her to start to panic. She looked around the room, and saw that one of the long candle holders didn't have any candles lit.
She immediately picked it up, getting ready to defend herself if something burst through the door. She stood at the ready, standing out of sight next to the door. There was more ruckus coming from the hall, making Yuu more tense. It then went quiet, but her door busted open, which she answered with a large swing, knocking one of the guards over the head with it. “Ah!” The guard yelled, grabbing the top of his head. “Oh, I'm sorry! I thought!” Yuu didn't quite know what she was expecting, but it wasn't a guard. “No it's fine, I understand, looks like the beast tried to enter your room.” The guard stood up, still rubbing his head in pain.
Yuu looked at the door and saw large claw marks indebted into it. “What is it?” Yuu asked, concern clear in her eyes. “We don't know how but a large wolf has made its way into the castle.” Yuu paused, ‘No.’ Yuu tried to hide her hopeful smile, “What did it look like?” She asked, with a fake panic. “All I could make out was its yellow eyes, and white fur.” Yuu was excited and worried.
‘Jack is here, but he's being chased right now….’ Yuu’s worry must have shown on her face, because the guard felt the need to try and consult her. “Do not worry, my lady, we shall capture the beast!” The guard said, walking out of the room. “Please remain here until it is safe,” He said, closing the door. Leaving a stunned Yuu, “Jack.” Yuu said, looking down, praying for her friend's safety. “Please be ok.”
Jack ran through the halls, keeping away from the guards and maids that chased after him. I'm going to turn back soon, I need to find a place to hide.’ Jack thought, before smelling Leona and Mallues scent nearby. ‘I can blow their cover, but it would be the only chance I have of not getting caught.’ Jack panicked on what to do, until he saw a small robotic tool running beside him. ‘What the?’ The small robot made a hissing sound before smoke covered the hallway.
Jack took this chance and changed back, before sneaking into one of the rooms, hearing the guards and the maids cough, trying to clear the smoke. Jack let out a breath of relief, looking down at the small android, “Heh thanks.” Jack slid down the wall, trying to think of what to do. ‘Oh right.’ He took out the devices he was supposed to carry in his ear, it had fallen out when he shifted back.
“Hey Jack, I was able to lose the guards, but they are still on the hunt for me.” Ortho responded, sounding relieved. “Jack Howl, it's good to hear that you are unharmed. The others are still on the search for Yuu." Jack then recalled what he had done, “Right there's also that, I found Yuu’s room.” The group froze, feeling relief, “However, I wasn’t able to see her since I was being chased, I did however leave a large scratch on the door. If you find that mark, you will find Yuu.”
Ortho smiled wide on the other side of the com's, “Excellent work Jack Howl! Hear that boys?” Deuce, Ace, Rook and Grim responded “Loud and clear.” Ortho nodded, “Good, Rook Hunt, Ace Trappola, and Grim, locate Deuce Spade and then locate Yuu’s room, and get her out of there.” Ortho said, sounding determined.
“Beautiful leading, Monsieur Wonder!” Rook said, him and Ace going down the hall, Grim slowly following behind them. “Ok, I’ll stay where I am, until you three reach me.” Deuce said, quietly as he hid in a small room, that it was practically empty, except for a few ropes and empty boxes. Waiting for the others to show up.
Ace and rook were rushing down the hallway, Ace carrying from in his arms, covering his mouth, as they heard guards coming their way in a rush. Rook pulled them into a room close by, closing the door quickly but quietly. They listened as the guards came running down the footsteps. “How do we lose a giant wolf!” They heard one of the guards complain as they passed by the hidden boys.
Ace let out a tired sigh, “I am so over all this running around, let's just get Yuu and get out of here.” Ace said, dropping Grim without a care. “Hey!” Grim yelled at being dropped without warning. “Shhh.” Rook glared at the two, making them shut their mouths tight. “Be quiet.” Rook ordered before taking a peek out the door. “It's clear, listen once we round this corner Monsieur Spade is in the 2nd room to the right, you both need to head there without being seen.” Ace raised a brow at him, and scowled “Why does it sound like you aren't coming with us?”
Rook looked at the two, “You both have come so far, it would be an utter shame to lose you both now.” Ace and Grim looked at each other, taken back by Rook's dramatic mood shift. “We need you to find Deuce!” Grim complained, his mouth was immediately covered by Ace and Rook. “Shhh.” They shushed the small beast. “He just told us where Deuce is, what I don't understand is why you are leaving us.” Ace said, turning his glare to Rook.
Rook let out a breath, “The guards of Prince Charm are on edge due to Jack's sudden appearance, so they will be coming through the hall quickly. I will be leading them off your trail so you three can get Madame Trickster to safety. I would love to be the one to rescue our dear princess, but at last, I must be hunted instead of the hunter.” Rook said, standing back up, adjusting his hat. “Au revoir, my dear friends.” Rook tipped his hat, before running out into the hall.
Ace and grim just sat there, Ace's hand still over the dire beast of mouth. Grim realized this and shoved his hand away from his face. They both listened, hearing the guards start to argue about the direction where the world had gone, when there was a loud crash. “There, it's heading down the floor!” One called out, as heavy footsteps rushed past them.
Ace and Grim stayed frozen for a moment, before hearing Rook's voice in their ears. “It's all clear, you both may go, bonne chance (Good luck) ” Ace and Grim shrugged, before making their way out to the hall.
Deuce had his ear pressed against the door, listening closely to the sounds of the hallway. ‘Where are they?’ Deuce thought, becoming worried. He heard footsteps approaching, moving away from the door quietly, when the door knock began to turn. He took out his magical pen, having it at the ready. ‘Wait, no that will make too much noise.’ He quickly placed his pen away, and bawled his hands into fists.
The door opened, and Deuce took a swing, punching Ace right in the face. Ace fell back, landing on top of Grim. “Ace? Grim?” Deuce loudly whispered in surprise. Grim struggled underneath the unconscious Ace, who was out cold. Deuce grabbed Ace's legs and dragged him into the small room, freeing Grim, letting him jump into the room quickly. ‘Oh boy.’ Deuce closed the door, looking at his unconscious friend.
Charm took another drink from his cup, feeling his throat dry up from how nervous he was. His father was not any better, looking like he was about to faint. “And how do you plan to make up for the distress you caused my knights?” Malleus asked, with a cunning smile. Leona just sat back and watched the two sweat bullets, ‘Well, luckily I don't actually have to do anything yet.’ Leona started looking around the room, trying to stay awake, knowing he would fall asleep if he let his guard down.
‘Hmm?’ Leona heard many footsteps approaching the room. ‘Now what?’ Leona stared at the door as it swung open, with two panicked guards. “King Kingston, Prince Charm! There is a wolf loose in the castle!” The guard on the right informed us in a panic. “What?!” Charm and the king stood up in a panic.
‘Jack.’ Leona thought, wondering what in the seven his freshman could be up to. “Is Yuu ok?” Charm asked, Mallues and Leona glared at him. “Yes, the beast scared her door, but wasn't able to make entry. I have checked on her, and she is safe.” The guard on the left said, that's when everyone noticed him holding an ice pack to his head. “Are you alright?” Charm asked, looking concerned for one of his palace guards. “Oh yes, Lady Yuu thought I was the beast when I opened the door, and was ready to defend herself." The guard said, looking a bit shameful.
Mallues and Leona shared a smirk, ‘Good work Yuu.’ They both thought, feeling proud. “Thank the stars, I will check on her myself.” The guard nodded, “Yes, I’m sure she will feel more safe with you by her side." The sound of glass breaking disrupted the room. Everyone turned towards Malleus who was holding the piece of what used to be a cup. “Apologies, I seemed to have used too much strength.” The maid who was standing in the corner came up, and immediately tried to clean the mess up, but Mallues beat her to it, waxing the mess away with a slight of hand.
“What shall we do, we can't have the beast running around the castle.” Charm looked to his father,waiting for his orders. King Kingston did not say anything, he thought for a moment, before standing up. “Charm, stay here and keep our guest company, I shall handle this.” Charm looked at his father confused, “But father your-” “I am fine boy, stay put.” With that as his final word, King Kingston walked out the door.
Charm looked worried for his father, before turning back to his guest who was staring at him, with an unimpressed look. ‘Huh?’ Mallues and Leona saw this as the perfect opportunity to have a private friendly chat with the dear prince. “So, Prince Charm, are you hoping to marry?” Malleus asked, his displeasure not being hidden. Charm slowly nodded, “Yes, I hope to take the lovely lady I have staying here, hand in marriage.” Leona clicked his tongue, “She hasn't agreed to marry you?” Leona asked, “Uh, not yet, I am hoping to change her mind.” Mallues, seeing what Leona was setting, acted along, “Oh how long have you known her, since you are already thinking of marriage, I'm sure you've known her for a long time.”
Charm looked at them confused, ‘Why did the air suddenly shift?’ Charm stood his ground. “We have not known each other for long, however, I plan to grant her any wish she wants, no matter how grand.” Leona and Mallues had to bite back their rage, ‘He’s making choices for her.’ Before they could say anything, Charm remembered an important detail. “One moment, you both attend Night Raven College correct?”
Mallues answered the prince, still looking confident, “Yes.” Charm face shifted, “I see. And what is your relationship with Yuu?” Leona brows narrowed, before they could answer, there was a loud crash outside the room, followed by a loud yell. “What is happening?” Charm opened the door, looking around, not seeing anything, other than a small bottle laying on the ground.
“What the?” Charm picked it up, his body went stiff, ‘Hey?!’ Charm couldn't speak, his body fell to the ground, ‘I can't move!’ Prince Charm thought with a panic, unable to speak, trying to force himself up, but couldn't. Then everything went black.
Leona chuckled, moving past the unconscious prince, “Got to hand it to that Straitlaced punk, he sure has a useful tool.” Malleus followed behind him, “Yes, I must agree.” The two princes walked down the hallway, looking for their underclassmen, and more importantly their missing princess.
Ace jolted awake, looking around in a panic, only seeing Deuce and Grim whispering to each other. “Why can't we just force him up, we need to get going.” Grim whined, “We can’t, he may have a head injury and will need to rest it off.” Deuce said, not putting much thought behind his words. “We can't leave without him either.” Ace sat up, rubbing his face, “What happened?” Deuce and Grim looked at the now awake card soldier.
“Ace, are you ok?” Deuce asked, looking over his friend with concern. “You punched me!” Ace spat out, glaring at Deuce. “I thought you were a guard, I panicked.” Deuce defended himself, the two started going back and forth, before stopping when they heard a familiar young voice in their ears. “Deuce Spade, Ace Trappola, can you hear me? Are you with each other?” The two paused, speaking into the device “We can hear you.” Ace continued speaking, “Yes we found each other, we are now going to look for Yuu.”
Jack imminently responded, “Deuce, she isn't far from where we split, just look for the door.” Deuce nodded even though he couldn't be seen, “Right, thank you Jack, we won’t let you all down.” Deuce moved back to the door, slowly opening it, looking around the hall seeing no one, and not hearing anyone as well. “It's clear.” The three slowly moved out the door, slowly moving through the hallway.
“Come in, I am with Roi du Lions and Roi des Dragons, we are currently heading towards Monsieur Fier-à-bras.” Rook said, walking behind two princes, “Le prince charmant is currently a lull.” Leona and Mallues listened in on the conversations. “How long will he be out?” Ortho asked, through the coms. “He will be unconscious until a guard finds him, we don't want him to stay out too long, or else suspicion will fall onto our beautiful dragon and lion.” Rook explained, before pausing. hearing footsteps approaching them. “I must go, good luck.” Rook said, making himself scarce.
Ace, deuce and Grim were confused but thought it best not to question it, especially since they wouldn't be able to receive an answer. “Ah there it is!” Grim said, seeing the scratched up door. However, he had said it quite loud, making a rush of footsteps approach them quickly. “Nice work fur ball.” Ace said, taking out his magic pen, holding it behind his back. “Let me do the talking deuce.” Deuce took out his magic pen as well, keeping it hidden.
Three guards came around the corner, seeing an empty hallway. “I swear I heard someone yell.” The one in front defended turning to the two “Sure, listen lets head down with the others, that's where we should be.” The two take off first, while the one who is sure he heard someone stayed, looking around the hallway. He lets out a breath, before following after them.
Deuce, Ace, and Grim laid on the floor looking up at the girls in the fancy dress confused. “Yuu!?” The girl brought her finger up to her lips, “Shhh.” They all immediately covered their mouths, Yuu listened to the hall, once she heard the guards walk away she let out a relief breath. “Ok, we're goo-” Yuu turned around, and was immortally tackled to the ground by the two. “Yuu.” Grim cried, baring his head into her chest. “Are you alright?” “Thank the sevens, you’re safe.” Ace and Deuce said, wrapping their arms around their stunned friend. Yuu felt herself tear up, hugging her friend back tightly. “Thank you, for coming for me guys.” ace and deuce tightened their hold.
The sweet moment was broken by grim, “Hey, you're not getting married to the dumb looking prince right?” Ace and Deuce moved away, to see Yuu response, while they had all assumed she had said no, they wanted it to be confirmed. “No, I'm not.” Yuu said, lightly patting Grim’s head. “Good, I'm not giving you away to anyone!” Grim said, hugging Yuu again. Yuu lightly laughed, “Hahe thanks buddy.”
Ace and Deuce shared a smile, before talking into their ear piece. “Hey listen up everyone….we found Yuu.” You could practically hear everyone's relieved smile. “Nicely done Hunting Season.” Cater said, into the device surprising everyone.
“Cater?” Ace and Deuce responded in surprise, “Hiya boys, Cay-Cay is back!” Yuu looked at the two confused, “Ortho gave us something so we could talk to each other.” Yuu made a face of understanding. “Ah I see.” Yuu stood up, Deuce giving her a hand. “Are you alright Cater?” Jack asked, listening close for the upperclassmen. “Yep, Cay-cay, is totally okay-okay. I was able to trade with a body double of mine.” Ace relayed the information back to Yuu, so she wouldn't be out of the loop.
“I’m where the brooms are, no one has noticed them yet. So be quick when coming back here.” “Got it.” Everyone but Rook replied, getting ready to make their escape. But they didn’t know that leaving the castle would be much harder than getting in.
Leona and Mallues came to a halt when a large number of guards approached them, “Prince Mallues, Prince Leona, are you both alright? Where is Prince Charm?” Leona took charge, “We were with Prince Charm when he collapsed after touching an item, we believe it was cursed. We saw someone hiding within the shadows, that we believed to be the culprit, running. So we gave chase.” Mallues was impressed with how quickly an explanation Leona came up with, saying it so naturally as if that is what really happened.
“Oh I see, but there was no one else coming down this hallway.” Mallues stepped forward, “The culprit teleported once he saw that we were after him.” The guard took a step back without thinking, “Oh I see that makes sense, we shall go alert the king at once.” The guard quickly said, not wanting to be around, Mallues any longer.
The group ran down the hall, in a panic. “Heh, look at them scramble.” Leona chuckled, before walking ahead. “Hold on a moment, Kingscholar.” Leona was debating ignoring the man behind him, but decided to stop. “What?” Malleus frowned at his rude tone, “We need to make our way back.” Leona raised a brow at him, “Oh and why should I do that?” Leona asked, placing a hand on his hip, “We know that Yuu is safe, however, if we were to disappear at the same time, it would cause much suspicion.” Leona rolled his eyes, “They wouldn't be able to land anything on us, no hard evidence has been left, and what we said was true.” Leona turned back around attempting to walk away.
“Kingscholar, are you truly so blind?” Leona came to a halt, glaring over his shoulder. “Got something you want to say to an overgrown lizard?” Mallues chuckled, “Ah my apologies, I should have known it would be senseless to try and reason with a wild beast. My mistake, seems me believing you have a hint of intellect was a bold assumption." Mallues eyes narrowed.
Rook watched the two, unsure of what to do, not wanting to be in the cross fire of the growling match between the two beasts. ‘Monsieur Dandelion was correct in being concerned about this pair up.’
Jack peeked his head out, seeing that the coast was clear, ‘Ok get out of here, that is my only goal.’ Jack was about to walk around the corner when he heard others coming close, he looked around not knowing what to do, ‘Looks like I'm gonna have to fight.’ Jack prepared himself, but stopped when he smelled a familiar scent.
He waited for them to walk around the corner, once the person had turned the corner he jumped back in shock, not expecting to see jack standing there. “Jack, you gave me such a scare.” Cater said, grabbing his chest, feeling like his heart was about to burst out of his chest. “Sorry, but I guess that means I've been doing a good job of staying hidden.” Cater nodded to the freshman's words, “Come on, let's get out of here, the exit this way.” Cater said, pointing down the hallway he had just come from. Jack nodded and followed after his upperclassmen.
Ace, Deuce, Yuu and Grim snuck around the hallway, trying to find their way out, but they ended up becoming completely lost. “Ok, I have never seen this hall before, so I'm calling it, we're lost.” Yuu said, holding Grim in her arms, who was refusing to let go of her. “I told you we took a wrong turn.” Deuce said to Ace who was leading the way. “Oh please, you couldn't do any better.” Deuce scowled at Ace, “I got further than you, the only reason you made it this far was because of rook.” Yuu shook her head, “This is not the time or place for you two, knock it off, and let's just go back.” Ace and Deuce didn't argue, just followed Yuu lead, Grim giving them a smug look at them being scolded.
Charm was helped up by two knights, them checking over him as he slowly opened his eyes. “Your highness are you alright?” Charm heard one of the palace guards ask him, but he was too much of a daze to answer properly, so what came out was a scramble of words. “Whe-ho-Yuu-” The guards looked at each other confused, not quite sure what their prince was trying to say.
Just then the king came dashing into the room, seeing his son in a weak state. “My boy, are you alright, do not worry, we will send for the best doctors.” Charm shook his head very slowly, “No ....I'm f-fine.” Charm attempted to stand up, but couldn't keep his balance. “Where is Yuu?” Charm asked, “In her room I’m sure.” King Kingston looked at the guards who had an unsure look upon their faces. “Uh that is where she was last reported to be my king.” The king nodded, “See she's fine, son worry about yourself first.” But Charm couldn't, he had this feeling like something was wrong. “Wait, where are the other princes?” The room froze, realizing that they had indeed not noticed where the other two had gone. “Go search for them, bring them here.” the king ordered, waving off the guards taking his son into his own arms. “Yes your majesty.” They said, before leaving the room quickly. “Charm, hang tight, I will go fetch a maid.” The king said, laying his son on the sofa, before leaving the room as well.
Charm laid there, feeling the dizziness wear off. “Hmm.” He looked towards the door to see a figure of two men walking by, what really stood out was the big tail and ears that were on one of them. Charm forced himself up, stumbling to the door, peeked in the hall and saw two boys in a school uniform to be sneaking around. Charm gripped his sword and followed them.
Yuu hopped out the window, falling daftly into deuce's arms. “Thanks.” She said to the blushing boy. “No problem.” Ace climbed out after her, landing beside them. “Ok Grim jump down, I’ll catch ya.” Ace whispered yelled up to Grim.
Grim steadied himself before jumping, but he misjudged the distance and ended up landing onto Ace face, gripping onto his face tightly as to not fall. “Let’s go!” Ace said muffled due to Grim's fur. Yuu and Deuce had to contain their laughter, Yuu walked over and pilled grim off of Ace's face. Ace took a breath, not having been able to breath due to the amount of fur covering his face. “Let's go.” Yuu said, with a warm smile, happy to be leaving.
They stopped when they heard the bushes shuffling, Ace and Deuce stood protectively in front of Yuu, getting ready to fend off whoever it was but stopped when they saw that it was Jack and Cater. “Ah good you made it.” Jack said, smiling to the group, before making his way quickly to “Yuu are you ok?” Jack asked, looking over Yuu, checking for injuries. Yuu smiled up at him, “Yeah, I am now.” Jack's tail lightly wagged at her response. Cater came up to Yuu, “Nice to see you Yuu~ey.” Cater lightly patted her head. “Heheh, good to see you too Cay-Cay.” Yuu teased, with a light laugh.
“Good you all are here, let's go.” Ortho said, floating down to them, “We need to head back before the staff notice we are missing.” The group nodded, making their way to the brooms, but were stopped by another figure showing himself. “Well, this is a surprise.” Charm said, gripping his sword.
The group tensed, all forming a wall in front of Yuu. “I was wondering how a wolf had made its way into the castle, and why suddenly without notice two princes from the same school paid us a visit. But what really concerned me was these little mice I found wandering around.” Charm held up small robotic mice. Ortho’s eyes widened, wondering how he didn't notice one of his droids was missing.
“Yuu, are you alright?" Charm called out, but the group wasn't having it. “Prince Charm, please just allow us to past, we do not wish for any trouble.” Ortho spoke, silently messaging Idia that they had been found out. “Could have fooled me, sneaking into my castle, destroying my property, placing a curse upon a prince, and then kidnapping a guest of the royal family.” Ace clicked his tongue, "That's rich coming from you.” Ace muttered, but was heard clearly. “Excuse me?” Ace stepped forward, refusing to back down. “I'm saying you're a hypocrite, Yuu didn't choose to come here, but she was taken here against her will, I'm pretty sure that counts as kidnapping.”
Yuu tried to move past the group, but they made sure she stayed behind them. “Guys let me just talk to him.” Yuu whispered, trying to get control of the situation. “Yuu, stay back, we are past the point of discussion.” Jack said, looking tense. Yuu became frustrated that no one was listening to her.
“Surrender yourselves now, last warning.” Charms said, his glare becoming focus, unsheathing his sword. The students pulled out their magical pens, “Bring it.” Deuce said, getting ready for the fight. Yuu stepped back, knowing that she wouldn’t be useful in this.
Deuce struck first, immediately summoning some fire magic, but it came right back at him, knocking him down. “Agh!” “Deuce!” Cater said, standing on guard but looking over at his underclassmen. “What the-” Ace attacked next, before Jack could complete his sentence. Ace flung some ice magic at the prince, but just like with Deuce, the spell imminently went back to Ace.
“Ack!” Ace tried to dodge, but still got hit with his own magic. “Hes deflecting them with his sword.” Jack growled, trying to figure out what to do. “Hehehe, well looks like we will have to show our hand pretty early.” Cater said, waving his pen around, “I am him, and he is another. Split Card!” Suddenly multiple Caters stood around. “Let's go!” the original Cater commanded, the doubles imminently moving towards the prince.
Charm turned his sword, repositioning it, before swinging it towards the caters, not hitting them with the actuarial sword, but cast a large gust of wind to hit all the Caters, pushing them back into the wind. Cater immediately called off his doubles, before they could land. “Well, that didn't work.” Jack became frustrated and yelled. “Unleash Beast!”
Charm did back up, when the beastman in front of him suddenly turned into a large wolf. “You were the beast.” Charm pointed his sword up, before striking the ground, as Jack was running towards him, his paws were suddenly covered by the ground, stopping him in his place. Jack growled as he tried to free himself.
“Oh come on!” Ace said, looking around at the group. “How are we going to beat this guy!” Deuce stood up, before waving his pen again. "I summon thee, cauldron!” Deuce yelled and the prince immediately looked up, seeing a cauldron coming towards him, he moved out of the way to avoid being hit. “I summon thee-” Before Deuce finished the spell, Charm moved his sword in front of him, “You never need to worry. Now I know. I will always find you. Be protected by…..My Sword.”
“Cauldron!” Deuce finished the spell, not releasing that Charm had released his unique magic. Deuce looked, expecting a cauldron to fall over the prince. What he didn't expect was for a large shadow to cover him instead, Deuce looked up and yelled, “Ah!” The large cauldron fell onto deuce, crushing him. “Help!” Deuce begged, stretching his arm out to cater. “Hang on Deucey.” Cater said, trying to go and help the poor boy, but was stopped when magic glowed around his body. “What! Bak!”
Cater looked down, and saw that he was now a chicken. “Bak!” Cater yelled in a panic, begging to run around. “Rook Hunt, come in we need you outside now, we are on the left side of the castle in the garden, please hurry.” Ortho said in a panic, activating some devices. “Take this!” Ortho shouted, firing some lasers towards Charm.
Charm moved out of the way, he was grazed by a few of them, but they didn't do any damage to him. “He was able to avoid them all, ok wide spread attack.” Ortho was prepared to attack again but was stopped by his older brother's voice “Don't Ortho! It will be too wide of an attack, the others will be injured as well. Not to mention the damage you will cause to the palace.” Ortho stopped his attack, “Then what should I do, no magic attacks seem to work on him, and I can’t risk hitting him if it means the others will be injured as well.” Luckily Ortho didn't have to come up with another plan, one found its way to him.
“Excusez-moi.” A french accent voice called out, Charm looked over his shoulder and saw Rook standing behind him with a wide smile. “Apologies for interrupting this magnificent scene, however, these two lovely gentleman would like to have a word with you.” Rook said, dramatically showing Leona and Mallues who walked to Prince Charm.
Charm didn't stand down, he had a sneaking suspicion that things were about to get worse.
Prince Mallues, Prince Leona, would you happen to know why your fellow students are here?” Maluues smiled, “Apologies Prince Kingston, we had assured them that we would handle this matter ourselves but it seems humans are quite impatient.” Leona shrugged, “You can order them around all you want, but when they have something worth fighting for, they tend not to listen to reason.” Leona took out his magic pen. “How about we end this now, let Yuu come back with us, and we all move on from this small hiccup.” Leona glared at Charm, trying to get him to stand down. But he didn't.
“We have invited you into our home, invited your entire island to an event that is not formally opened to the public. I fully understand being concerned for your friend….but you've all gone way over the line.” Charm glared up at the two, his sword shining bright. “Looks like talking this out is no longer an option.” Malleus held up his hand, letting magic begin to surround him, Leona did the same, preparing for the fight.
“Enough!” Yuu yelled, walking up to the three. “Yuu, stay back you'll get hur-” Charms' words were cut off when a fist hit his face. No one says a word, no one moves, Charm and Yuu just stand there in place. Charms cheek becoming swollen, Yuu moving back to standing up, lightly patting her fist. “I said enough.” Charm held his cheek, looking at the girl with wide eyes.
“Yuu.” Grim said, in shock, not knowing what to do. “Do it again!” He then yelled, getting the group's attention to be focused on him. “Hmm.” Grim looked down, feeling embarrassed now. “Prince Charm, I do not blame you for any of this.” Yuu said, gesturing to all her friends. “However, can we please take them inside so we can have a civil conversation so we can clear all this up?” Charm was in such a state of shock, that all he could do was nod.
Everyone stood in the throne room, the NRA boys standing close to Yuu, getting ready to defend her. Charm and his father stood at the throne, looking down at the group. "I should have you all executed!” King Kingston yelled, his face beating red, everyone other than Leona and Mallues flinched at the threat. The king took a breath, “however, I can not blame you all for your actions.” The group let out a breath of relief, "I also do not wish you put such tongue men behind bars either.” The group tensed again, forgetting that was another option the king could have gone with.
“So, we are going to come to a simple understanding, we shall move in front of this matter completely. As long as Prince Draconia and Prince Kingscholar do not send a word of this incident back home.” The group looked at the two princes, who seemed nonchalant about this entire thing. “Sounds good to me.” “I agree with this condition.” The two said, Leona shrugging, Malleus acting like he was giving it some thought. “Excellent. Now there is one more matter to deal with.” The father looked towards his son, who nodded, stepping down the steps and holding out a hand for Yuu to take.
Yuu hesitantly took it, letting the prince move her closer to him, causing the group to go on edge again. “Yuu, I will respect your choice, I swear upon my sword. But I must ask.” He got down on one knee, “Will you marry me?” Charm held out a beautiful jeweled crown. “And become my princess and future queen?” Yuu smiled sadly at the prince, taking in the hope in his eyes, knowing she was about to destroy it. “Prince Charm, you certainly live up to your name. However, we have known each other for too little. I can not accept this offer, I am sorry to disappoint you.” Charm let out the breath he was holding, feeling his heart break. “I-.....I understand.”
The college boys looked relieved, happy that Charm was accepting her answer. “May I ask a thought….” Yuu looked at Charm confused, “Are one of these men your partner?” Yuu eyes shot wide, and a faint blush overcame her cheeks. “Uh no, as I said before, I am not in a relationship with anyone. But when that time comes, it will be my choice, and I will be creating my own happily ever after.” Yuu moved her hand away from his, taking a step away. Charm stood up, looking at her with a sad smile, "I see, I wish for your dream to come true.” Charm lightly bowed to her.
Yuu bowed back out of respect, she then looked at the king who looked to be more heartbroken than his son. “Are you sure, we will grant you any wish you want! Please take a moment to reconsider!" Yuu shook her head slowly, “Thank you for the kind offer to your majesty, but my answer shall remain the same.” Yuu walked to the group, “What if he were to challenge one of these boys for your hand?!” He cried out in desperation, not wanting the only girl his son has taken an interest in to disappear, again.
Leona scowled at the king, “To accept that offer, would mean that we are taking the choice away from Yuu. I for one, unlike you, respect what a lady wishes.” Leona said, “Have a wonderful night.” Leona said, tossing Prince charm an arrogant smirk.
“Oh Charm.” Yuu said, stopping turning back to face the prince, “Next time you fall for someone, ask for her name first.” Yuu gave him a teasing wink, before walking out with her group of friends, who were very pleased with having her back.
Once they returned to night raven, Malleus placed Yuu lightly on the ground, having carried her the whole way. “Thank you Hornton.” Malleus smiled down at her, “Happy to be of help Yuu, and I am more pleased to see that you are unharmed. Had there been a single scratch on you, I considered burning the castle down.” Yuu's eyes went wide at Malleus' casual tone with such a threat.
The others landed beside them, everyone in pairs except for grim and Rook, who rode with Ortho, so Leona could just ride a broom on his own. Yuu looked around at the group, before taking a breath, “Thank you all, for coming to get me and for worrying about me. I am truly thankful to have you all in my life.” The group shared a light blush, feeling touched by her words. “It was no problem, after all the times you've helped us, it's the least we could do.” Cater said, scratching his cheek, trying to hide his embarrassment. The others agreed with him.
“Well, that was exciting.” Ortho said, looking very pleased with the situation. “Oh right, I need to inform Idia to cancel the strikes!” Ortho immediately called Idia, ignoring the group's shocked experience, flying back into the sky. “I don't know about you all, but I've had enough adventures for a lifetime. Yuu, please next time you are getting surprised, get someone immortal before answering.” Cater said, looking at Yuu with a desperate plea for her to agree. “Got it.” Yuu laughed awkwardly.
“Let's go hunting season, before the housewarden takes our heads.” Cater said, motioning for his two classmates to follow him, Deuce and Ace gave Yuu another quick hug, “Good to have you back.” “Don't leave us again.” The three shared a smile, “Keep a close eye on her Grim.” Ace said before following his upperclassmen, Deuce gave a light wave as he followed.
Leona let out a large yawn, “Alright, I've done enough work for the week.” Leona walked up to Yuu leaning down to whisper into her heart, “Come by wherever you want, we need to get that brats scent off ya.” Leona moved away, proud of the flustered expression on her face. “Night.” He walked away, his tail lightly touching her hand as he moved. “Night Leona.” Yuu said, giving him a light wave. Jack gave Yuu a kind smile, before following his housewarden.
Rook took Yuu hand, and looked into her eyes. “Ah the happy ending fills me with so much delight, welcome home princesse.” Rook tipped his hat to her, before placing a light kiss in her hand. “Je te souhaite une bonne nuit.” (I wish you a goodnight.) Rook walked away, “Roi du Poison will be happy to hear of your return.” Yuu waved off the rook as well, “Good night Rook.”
Yuu looked at Malleus who had not taken his eyes off her, “Yuu…will you be fine on your own?” Mallues asked with concern. Yuu gave him a thankful smile, “Thank you Hornton, but I won't be alone.” “Yeah, she'll have me!” Grim said proudly, but that did not soothe the dragons worrying. “May I ask to put a small protective barrier over the dorm, just for tonight.” Yuu saw that Mallues was really hoping for her to say yes. “Yes, that would be ok.” Malleus smiled with delight, snapping his fingers, placing a barrier covering the whole dorm's property. Yuu’s eyes widened, looking around at the barrier.
“Thank you for looking after me, Hornton, and for coming for me.” “Did you think I would not?” Malleus leaned down close to Yuu's face, “You matter a great deal to me Yuu, and not just me.” Mallues lightly brushed her hair, “Good night Yuu.” He said, before disappearing in a flash, leaving a more flustered Yuu behind. “Goodnight.”
Yuu looked down at Grim, who looked like he was about to fall over due to his sleepyness. “Come on, let's go to bed.” Yuu said, picking him up in her arms, and carrying him inside.
Yuu woke up to hearing light taps on her window, she saw that it was a small blue bird, with a letter. “Hmm?” Yuu crawled out of bed, and opened the window to let the bird in. “Hello.” She said, rubbing her eyes. The bird chippered happily, trying to get her to take the letter. Yuu took it, causing the bird to let out another happy chirp, before taking off into the sky. Yuu watched it as it flew away, before opening the letter.
Hoping to win your heart at the next ball, please stay safe and healthy. Write to me if you wish.
~Prince Charm Kingston
Yuu smiled, placing the letter back down, closing the window, and rejoining her roommate in their sort of comfortable bed, happy to be back home.
Twisted Wonderland: A Cinderella Story || Chapter 13 - Stars Shine Brighter
Yuu is Fem!Reader. Twst x Reader Story
Yuu looks at Silver confused, upon seeing his worried expression. “Silver, are you alright?” Yuu asked, standing up to get a proper look at Silver. He immediately placed his hands on her shoulders, “Yuu, are you ok, are you safe?” Yuu stood there confused. “Uh yeah I'm fine, why wouldn't I be?” Yuu tilted her head at the taller boy. “Yuu, you're not awake right now, you're in a dream.” Silver said plainly, gripping Yuu’s shoulders. Yuu looked at Silver like he was crazy, before it clicked, the area around them began to swirl. “Right, you told me that you can go into people's dreams.” Yuu looked back at the lunch table to see that her friends were now frozen. “So, guess I'm not a night raven right now, huh?” Yuu looked back towards Silver, who had a pitiful expression.
“No, you are not. As far as I know, you are at Kingston castle, correct, or did they take you elsewhere?” Silver asked, trying to get as much information as possible. “Yes, I am at Kingston castle, and I am fine, they are treating me well, for now at least, but Silver you should know-” The world around them began to fall apart. “Whats going on?” Yuu asked in a panic, going to reach for silver but he was fading as well. “Your waking up, Yuu listen we are coming for you, I promise we will come and rescue-" Silver wasn’t able to finish his promise, Yuu had woken up.
Yuu's eyes flew open, immediately sitting up, causing the maid who was trying to wake her to jump back. “Oh I’m sorry, I didn't mean to startle you.” The maid apologized, lowering her head. “No, no it's fine, just... .didn't expect it.” Yuu said, calming down her breathing, trying to organize her thoughts.
“Uh did you need something?” Yuu asked, looking at the maid, “Oh yes, right, it is time for dinner, and the king and the prince request your presence.” Yuu stood up from the bed, fixing her dress. “Oh alright, uh do you mind?” Yuu asked, pointing to her messy hair, that she had gotten from sleeping. “Oh of course.” The maid smiled happily, pulling out the chair by the mirror for Yuu to sit.
Yuu and the maid had a light conversation as the maid did her hair. Yuu looked at the mirror pleased with the results. “Thank you.” She said to the maid, who looked very pleased with her own work. “It's no problem, it's been a while since I was able to do ladies ' hair.” Yuu noticed the sad look on the maid's expression, “I see, well I'm glad I was able to help you get some practice in.” Yuu said a bit awkwardly, getting up from the seat.
Yuu walked down the hallway, wondering how her real friends were actually doing.
Grim stood on the table, in the middle of the room, with his arms crossed. A serious expression on his face, “Ok, let's get to work.” Ortho placed his robotic hand on Grim’s head, “Grim, please let me handle the explanation.” Grim grumbled, but let Ortho speak.
Ortho now wore the serious expression, “Ok, here’s the plan. My brother and I are currently sending small droids from Styx to scan the castle, so we will get a proper layout.” Ortho then turned his attention to Ruggie and Lilia, “First, is Leona kingscholar or Mallues Draconia willing to pay the Kingston family a visit to keep them distracted?” Ruggie looked uncomfortable, while Llia looked troubled. “Well, Leona says he would do it, but if Mallues is going then he’s out.” Lilia nodded, “Similar to Mallues, he is more than willing to help, but he does not believe Leona is a good fit for this task.” Ortho thought for a moment, “Hmm, is there a way you can convince them to work together?” Ortho asked, not really understanding why the two couldn't.
“No.” Both Lilia and Ruggies answered at the same time, knowing that their housewardens would not budge on this. “Hmm.” Ortho thought for a moment, “We will revisit this, we will need at least one of them to do it, but having them both there would raise our chances of success.” Ortho then turned his attention to the twins, who were leaning on the chairs, not really sitting on them. “Jade Leech and Floyd Leech, I need you both to distract Coach Vargas. He spends most of the day outside, so he is likely to see us on the move.” Floyd and Jade smoked, “Hehe just leave it to us.” “Yeah, leave Coach Lobster to us, we'll give him a good squeeze.” Ortho nodded, pleased with their response.
Ortho looked to his club's president, “Vil Schoenheit, thank you for agreeing to use your Unique Magic for this cause, there is one last role I need you to play, which is keeping Professor Crewel distracted.” Vil thought for a moment, “Fine, but I hope you understand that my time is not cheap.” Vil smirked, rather confident that he can keep the fashionable teacher distracted. “I am well aware, however, Professor Crewel is our biggest obstacle with leaving the school. He knows that we are most likely to go after Yuu on our own.” Vil nodded, “True, I will be able to keep him busy, but not for long, so all you spudlings need to make haste when making your exit.” Vil said, crowing his legs, leaning back in the chair.
Ortho turned back to Lilia, “Lilia Vanrouge, you will be distracting the Headmage Crowley and keeping him in his office. I have printed a list of things you can talk to him about that will keep him busy.” Ortho handed a packet titled Responsibilities. “As soon as he sees this, he should be unresponsive.” Ortho’s eyes smirked. Lilia chuckled looking through the packet, smirking at the details within the pages.
Ortho looked behind Lilia where Sebek stood, “Sebek Zigvolt you and Trey Clover, will be responsible with keeping Riddle Rosehearts from noticing that his housemates are missing.” Sebek looked offended, “Clover can do that on his own, I am more useful in the field.” Ortho shook his head, “No, while Trey can keep Riddle Rosehearts busy, it would only be for a short period of time, and if he becomes suspicious the entire faculty will know immediately about our plan.” Sebek stopped, seeing reason behind Ortho’s words. Seek grunted, not saying anything else.
Ortho nodded, taking that as him agreeing to the role. “Now, I have already discussed with Azul Ashengrotto about keeping Professor Trein busy, so we do not need to discuss that.” Ortho looked to the peers he had yet to name, “Now we talk about the actual rescue.”
“Epel Felmier, you will be providing the rescue teams equipment, being brooms.” Epel nodded, looking determined, “Yes, I got the spare key from Leona, and will be able to provide enough brooms, however, I won’t be able to take them very far, so I need the team to meet me half way.” Ortho nodded, “Understood, however, we don't want to draw too much attention, so we are going to have to pair up and only take 3 brooms.”
“Our rescue teams will be myself, Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade, Cater Diamond, Jack Howl, Rook Hunt and Grim.” Most of the upper classmen looked at Ortho as if he was insane. “Wait, what?” Vil asked, now questioning Ortho’s plan. “Uh yeah, I'm not very sure about this group.” Ruggie said, looking at Ortho doubtful. “Yes, I am.” Ortho said, upset that they were doubting him.
“Cater Diamond, Jack Howl, and Rook Hunt can handle the guards and staff.” Cater stiffened up at that, “Uh what?” Ortho continued, ignoring the confused boy. “Ace Trappola, Deuce Spade, and Grim, will be in charge of locating Yuu, and getting her out of the castle.” Ace and Deuce nodded, looking determined. “Got it!” “Leave it to us!” The two said, pure fire burning within their eyes.
“Uh, hey Ortho, not to be a downer here, but I don't think Cay-Cay is up to the task.” Cater said, giving Ortho an awkward smile. “Why not?” All eyes were on Cater, making him feel a bit awkward, “Well, I just think someone else would be better suited for this, I’m not the best fighter.” Ortho smiled, “Oh I see the confusion, you don't need to fight, I was mostly relying on Jack Howl and Rook Hunt, when it came to the guards you may run into. I was hoping with all your clones, you would be able to keep the maids and butlers distracted.” “Then that should be fine.” Vil said, not letting Cater say his objections again.
“Then we got a plan, we move when the sun sets!” Ortho said, raising his fist, feeling pumped. “But we have two more matters to deal with tonight.”
Ruggies and Jack stood outside Leona's bedroom door. They both nodded, before Jack knocked firmly on the door. They waited, but didn't hear a response, “Leona?” Ruggie opened the door, they walked in, and saw that Leona was just sitting on the bed, seeming to be lost in thought. ‘He’s awake?’ The two thought in surprise, upon seeing their housewarden conscious.
“Uh Housewarden?” Jack spoke up, seeing Leona ear twitched, but not responding. “So, we are going to rescue Yuu at sunset, and we could really use your help with getting her back.” Leona let out a breath, after a quiet moment. “What does Ortho have planned for me?” Leona side eyed the two beastmen.
They both became a little tense, “Well, he wants you to go pay a visit to the Kingston castle, to distract the prince and kings, while Jack and the others sneak in.” Leona chuckles, “Oh well that's easy.” Leona said sarcastically, his tail flicking on the bed. “You all could get into serious trouble, you know that right?” Leona growls out, Jack nods. “Yes, but….Yuu is worth it….” Jack mutters, his cheeks becoming a bit flushed. Ruggie didn't say anything, but Leona could tell that he agreed with the freshman standing beside him.
Leona let out a sigh, looking out his window, thinking about yuu. ‘Is this the way you want to lose?’ Leona thought, his eyes then fell to the book, that resting on the bed side table, the one Yuu had gotten him. With one more huff, Leona stood up, “Fine, what's the game plan?” He asked, his eyes filled with determination.
Jack and Ruggie smiled in relief, explaining the plan to their housewarden.
Malleus stared out his window, the rain falling hard from the sky, shortly followed by thunder and lighting. Mallues didn't care, he didn't care to stop it, he wanted everyone to feel how he was feeling.
He was taken out of his thoughts when a knock came from his door. He paused for a moment, stepping away from the window, and turning towards the door. “Enter.” He spoke, the door then opened after his command. “Malleus pardon my intrusion, but I have news I must share.” Silver said, looking serious. “Speak Silver, what is it?” Mallues said, not trying to be cold to the younger boy, but feeling that he was at his limit. “I was able to contact Yuu.” Mallues eyes widened, “How is she, is she hurt?” Mallues asked immediately, taking a step towards the shorter boy. “She is safe, and unharmed. She seems safe enough to be able to rest for a short moment, we weren't able to talk long, but it's obvious she wishes to return back to us.” Mallues felt his chest feel lighter, all his worry for his dear friend was causing him a great deal of pain.
“Thank the stars.” Mallues muttered, the sky becoming clearer. “Your conversation was cut short?” Mallees asked, wanting to confirm Silver's information. “Yes, she was forced awake by someone, who I do not know. However, if I get the chance to talk to her once more, I will immediately inform you, I swear.” Silver said, looking determined. “I apologize for not being able to do more.” Mallues waved his hand, “No you have done what you can, thank you for informing me Silver, excellent job.”
Silver nodded, usually he would take great pride in Malleus words, but he couldn't. He still didn't feel like he should be proud, that he should be able to do more. Silver was taken out of his grateful thoughts, by another knock upon Malleus' door. The two looked at each other confused, before Mallues nodded, singling for Silver to open it.
“Oh father, Sebek.” Silver said, stepping to the side, “Please come in.” Mallues said, looking between the two. “Thank you my liege." Sebek said, lightly bowing his head to Mallues. “Mallues, we need to talk.” Lilia said looking serious, "I agree, Silver has just given us news on Yuu’s condition.” Sebek and Lilia’s eyes widen, looking at Silver. “Luckily she was able to get some sleep, so I was able to talk with her. She is fine, but she wants to come back.”
Lilia nodded, "Nicely done Silver.” Sebek felt the sting of jealousy go through his chest. “My Liege, we also have news regarding the rescue of the human rescue!” Mallues and Silver looked at the loud speaking freshman. “Explain.” Mallues ordered. “Before that, Mallues, we need to know that you are in, that you will be helping us, even if that means working with someone you do not like.” Malleus thought for a moment, before nodding, "I will do anything to get Yuu back.” Lilia nodded, and the two began to explain the plan to Mallues.
Yuu had arrived at the royal dining room doors, which were opened by the two guards standing at the ready. Yuu took one last breath, before entering the room, trying to walk as formally as she could. ‘Vil’s lectures actually came in handy.’ She threw herself, as she became focused on her footing.
“Evening your highness's." Yuu lightly bowed, like the maid had suggested to her, before leaving her room. Prince Charm was a bit saddened at her greeting, but he expected this, this is why he didn't want to tell her that he is the prince. “Evening Yuu.” Charm stood up, giving her a light bow in return. The king smiled at his son's actions, getting reminded of when he first brought his wife home.
“Please have a seat.” Charm pulled out the chair for her, Yuu walked to the seat, which was placed right next to Charm. “Thank you.” Yuu said, sitting down, being pushed in by Charm. Charm then took his seat, being on Yuu right.
The courses got served, and Yuu tried not to drool at the sight, the food looked amazing. “Whoa.” Yuu breathed out as the dish was placed in front of her, “Thank you.” Yuu said to the maid, who seemed shocked that she publicly thanked her. “Oh my pleasure my lady.” The maid smiled warmly at her, before walking away with the empty table tray.
Charm smiled at Yuu, loving that she treated the workers with respect, all the ladies he had met always acted snooty with them, and treated them harshly, even in front of him and his father. Yuu looked over at Charm, catching him staring at her, he turned lightly red, turning his eyes away from her, to his plate. Yuu smiled, at his shy ness, getting reminded of the times she would catch Riddle looking at her, and then looking away embarrassed. Before that thought could linger for too long, Yuu’s attention was drawn to the king. “So Yuu, I understand you attend Night Raven, if you don't mind me asking, how? As far as I know, it is an all boy college, not to mention you don't have any magic."
That got Charm’s attention as well, ‘Did you turn me down because she has someone already?’ The prince became sad at the thought, ‘But if she is with someone, then I shouldn't get in the way.’ He thought before regaining some hope, ‘No you don't know that for sure, there is still time to win her heart.’ While charm was in his own thoughts, Yuu and the king continued their discussion.
“I don’t have any magic, I was sent to the night raven by mistake.” Yuu said, a bit unsure if that was even the truth at this point. She had her doubts about Crowley not knowing anything about her world. “Oh I see, then why not just send you home?” Yuu didn't know if she should answer, ‘this could be a good chance to see if they know anything about my world, but is handing out this information a good idea.’ Yuu thought to herself, “There were some complications.” Yuu decided to go with a veg answer. “So, I'm just attending Night Raven until they get resolved.”
The king nodded, sensing that Yuu didn't wish to talk about it any more. So he decided to switch topics, “Yuu, are you seeing any one?” Yuu tensed up, she had been wishing for the subject to change, but now she would rather go back. “Uh..no I’m not.” Yuu muttered, avoiding eye contact with the king and prince, keeping them on the plate. Missing the relieved expression the king and prince shared.
Yuu looked out the nearby window, seeing that the rain was becoming lighter, but the sun was setting. ‘Even if it clears, they will properly keep me for the night still.’ She thought, before placing the food, on her fork, into her mouth. Her worries disappeared as soon as the flavor took over her mouth, ‘But if they keep giving food like this it won’t be so bad.’ Yuu mentally laughed, thinking how she sounded like Grim.
Her chewing paused, ‘Wait Grim! Who's watching him while I'm not there!? Ugh if he's made a mess for me to come back to and clean up, I swear to the seven.” Yuu decided not to dread the thought, trying to enjoy the meal as much as she could.
Epel looked around anxiously, all the brooms laying at his feet, as sweat ran down his forehead. ‘Come on, where are y'all?’ he thought, keeping an eye out for his friends. He heard a bit of shuffling, and immediately hid behind the nearby wall, waiting to see who it was first. “Will you be quiet?” Ace scolded the feline following behind him. “Speak for yourself, you're making more noise than me.” Grim bit back at him. ‘Oh, it's them.’ Epel smiled in relief recognizing the two arguing, moving around the corner to reveal himself.
“Guys over here.” Epel whispered shouted to the group, who came closer to him. “Were you noticed?” Epel asked, looking concerned. “Luckily no, these two wouldn't stop fighting the entire way.” Jack said, in a low voice, pointing at Ace and Grim. “Acey, Grimy, you both need to chill.” Cater said, trying to get the two to stop their pointless fighting. “Wait, where's rook and Deuce?” Epel asked, not seeing the other two. “Right here Monsieur Cherry Apple.” Rook whispered into Epel's ear from behind him. Epel jumped, and was about to let out a noise of surprise, but Deuce covered his mouth quickly.
“Shhh.” Deuce hushed his fellow freshman, “We came a different way in case they were spotted.” Deuce removed his hand, after seeing the Epel had calmed down. “Oh, that makes sense.” Deuce looked down at the brooms, “Nice work getting these all here yourself without being seen.” Epel smiled confidently, “It was not a problem!” He responded proudly. Rook matched his smile, “Oh how strong you’ve become Monsieur Cherry Apple!”
The group grabbed the brooms, pairing up with each other. Ace and Cater on one, Deuce and Jack on the other, and Grim and Rook on the remaining one. “Epel head back and make sure no one sees you, just let the others know that we left.” Epel nodded, “Yall better bring her back.” Epel said, before quickly making his own escape.
“You heard him, let's go get our prefect.” Ace said, "Remember take it slow, and only one of us focuses on flying, while the other focuses on matching your partner's magic, although Rook, you should be fine just flying normally.” Grim looked at Cater confused, “What's that supposed to mean.” “You're small.” Grim’s fellow freshman answered, before taking to the now clear skies.
Leona and Mallues walked up the path, both not saying a word to each other, but you could feel the frustration and irritation surrounding them. The guards noticed them and immediately stood up straight, “Welcome Prince Draconia, Prince Kingscholar.” They lightly bowed their heads to the two princes. “Hello, we are here to talk to king Kingston and Prince Charm.” Mallues said, the guards couldn't meet his eyes, keep their heads down, feeling their blood turn cold.
“Are you awake?” Leona asked, when they didn't answer. “Yes, if you would just pardon me a moment, I shall go alert our king and prince.” The guard on the left said in a panic, before taking off inside, leaving the other guard on his own. ‘Traitor.’ The guard thought, as sweat ran down his forehead.
Mallues and Leona smirked, pleased that everything was moving smoothly. Now they just had to hope for the others to do their part.
Yuu just finished eating, when the doors to the dining room burst open, causing the three at the table to jump. “My King!” The guard who had been standing outside cried in a panic. “What is it?” The king stood up, Charm and Yuu remained seated but gave the knight their full attention. “Prince Mallues Draconia, and Prince Leona Kingscholar are at the front door.” The knight said, clearly out of breath, from having to run.
Yuu’s eyes widened, as hope filled her chest, she took a quick peek out the window and saw that the rain had stopped, the sky was still cloudy, and the sun was almost fully set, but it was travelable. “Allow them in, have a maid prepare a room quickly, and escort them in.” King Kingston turned his attention towards his son, “Charm company me.” Charm nodded, standing up, looking towards Yuu. “Apologies for the sudden interruption Yuu, let me escort you to your room.” Charm offered her his hand, and Yuu knew she couldn't turn it down, putting a lot of trust in you both.’ Yuu silently prayed to her two friends that had arrived.
As Charm walked Yuu back to her guest room, he didn't notice the small android following him through the halls. Sending a message to its owner.
Leona and Mallues were allowed in, a maid guiding them to the visiting room, where King Kingston resides, waiting for their arrival.
Ortho watched from a distance, seeing the doors closed, after Malleus and Leona walked in. Ortho then singled to the team on the brooms, to approach the castle.
They stayed out of sight, the dark clouds helping hide them and their brooms. “Ok, I have Yuu’s location, the prince is making his way to Malleus and Leona, so let's land.” Ortho instructed, flying down, leading the group to a safe spot to land.
Once they landed, they hid the brooms in a safe spot. “Ok, first things first, take these.” Ortho handed out small ear pieces, “You all need to sneak around the back. I will be too noticeable, so I can't go with you.” the boys nodded, placing the small piece into their ears. “You can talk to me through these, double tap them if you have been caught, and I will come get you right away, it will also alert the others that you have been found.”
Grim couldn't get it to fit into his ear, and got frustrated with it. “It's not going in!” He complained, not thinking about his volume. “What was that?” a guard asked, as he approached them. They all dove down into the bushes, Rook covering Grim's mouth. They all didn't move a muscle, listening to the guard pass by them.
“Hmm.” The guard hummed, looking around, not seeing anything. “Hey! Over here, we need you inside.” A different guard called out, “On my way.” the guard close to the group answered, walking to the front entrance.
Once they could no longer hear his footsteps, they all let out a sigh of relief. “I thought we were done for.” Ace breathed out, glaring at Grim. “Maybe we should send him back.” Ace muttered but grim heard him perfectly. “You ain't sending me nowhere! I will be the one to rescue my henchhuman!” Grim said with a determined look, “You can rescue her if you get us caught.” Ace said back, Jack growled at them both. “Shut. Up.” They both went quiet, being put under the wolf man's gaze. “This is not the time to argue.” Ace and Grim both went quiet, knowing Jack was right. “Ok, we need to move, Cater, Jack and Rook will lead, since they will be the ones to deal with the guard if you get caught.”
The groups got separated into the pairs they came in with.
Grim and Rook were the first to make it into the castle, not being spotted. Following them was Deuce and Jack, being a little more obvious, but were unseen. It wasn't until Ace and Cater tried to go in, where they were spotted by a maid, well Cater was, he had pushed Ace forward. “Who might you be?” The maid asked, looking at Cater suspiciously. “Oh hi, good I was looking for some help, I was at the ball, and I had lost something of mine, and I was hoping to get it back.” The maid seemed a little less on edge, “Oh you're a student, I should have guessed based on your uniform.” Cater nods, giving her a charming smile. “Yes ma’am.” Ace saw that the maid was fully distracted by Cater and took the chance to sneak inside.
“Hey, cater is talking to a maid, but she doesn't seem suspicious of him yet.” Ace updated, knowing Cater wouldn't be able to without being caught. “Roger that, hehe I've always wanted to say that, Cater let us know if things turn south.” Cater couldn't answer, but Ortho knew he got the message. “Ace, try to find one of us if you can.” Ortho said, before clicking off. “Got it.” Ace said, looking around the corner and moving. "We're coming, Yuu, I promise.’ Ace silently promised before going deeper into the castle.
Floyd
Now Floyd wanted to try something exciting, with a lot of options. However, he was not fully used to the summer heat yet, being in the sun the entire time made him feel a bit dried out, so Yuu made a suggestion that had fit his criteria. A water park.
Yuu and Floyd's walked through the entrance, a bag over their shoulders. Floyd had taken her bag at first, but as they walked, he got tired of carrying it. Yuu didn't mind, she still didn't have to carry it the whole way.
Floyd paused at the entrance, before his face lit up, water splashing everywhere, kids yelling, people cheering as they went down rides. Everywhere he looked something different was happening. “Aw yeah! This looks like a blast!” Floyd said his smile wide, his head moving around, taking in everything. Yuu laughed at her boyfriend's behavior, “By the way, I was able to strike something with Sam, so we have a fast pass.” Floyd looked at her with a smirk, “So that means we don't have to wait in the lines?” Yuu nodded, Floyd picked her up suddenly, making her drop her bag to the ground. “You’re the best shrimpy!” Yuu faced scrunched as Floyd hugged her tighter. “Floyd can't breathe.” Yuu squeaked out, but Floyd still squeezed her, before placing her down after another minute.
“Which ride should we ride first, hey lets go with this one!” Floyd said, starting to drag Yuu off, but she stopped him, “Hang on Floyd, we need to go place our stuff down and change.” Yuu said, planting her feet to the ground, trying to fight against her strong boyfriend. Floyd stopped, seeing the reason behind her words. “Ok, where do we go?” He asked, looking at Yuu. She reached into her pocket, and took out the map. “Let's see.”
After finding a spot to reserve for them, they placed their items in a locker, and their towels upon some chairs as they changed. Floyd finished first, wearing swim shoes and an open shirt, and some sandals. He looked around, seeing kids run by, and he couldn't help but smile at the fin they were having, always feeding off the mood around him. “Hey sorry, most of the stalls were taken.” Yuu said, stepping out of the women's dressing room.
Floyd looked up and paused, he had never seen his little shrimpy in such revealing clothing. “Whoa.” Floyd said, the tips of his ears turning a bit red. “You look good, shrimpy.” Floyd got closer to her, staring her down with a hungry look in his eyes. “So good I wanna take a bite.” He smirked, shoving his sharp teeth. Yuu looked cautious, not knowing if he was being serious or joking, with Floyd it could be the latter. Floyd moved, so his left arm is wrapped around her, pulling her close to his side. “Alright can we go now?” Floyd said before walking.
Yuu and Floyd walked around, Floyd wanting to go on every ride, but couldn't decide which one to go on first. “How about that one?” Yuu pointed out one, Floyd looked at it, and his smile became wide. “Aw yeah awesome choice shrimpy.” Floyd dragged Yuu to the ride she just pointed out. After showing their wrist bands, they got to get on the slide much faster than the other people in line. Yuu gave an apologetic look to all the people Floyd shamelessly dragged her in front of, wearing a smile on his face being excited.
When it was their turn, Floyd sat in the back, as Yuu sat in the front of the slide. Floyd wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her closer to him. “Alright, have fun.” The worker said, before pushing them down the slide.
Yuu let out a light scream, by going so fast, as the water splashed on her face. Floyd cheered, keeping one arm on Yuu, while the other flew back free. Once they reached the bottom, and got splashed with a larger wave of water. They got off the small float, letting it get taken by a worker, as they swam to the shallow area.
“Let's do another one!” Floyd said, walking to the concrete again, his hair dripping wet. Yuu pushed the hair that was sticking to her face out of the way, “Sure, you pick.” She said, as she fixed herself. Floyd looked around, but stopped when he heard something unpleasant. “Hey you see that cutie over there.” Floyd glanced at the two other college students, who were eyeing his shrimpy. “Wonder if she’s here with anybody.” Floyd now believed they were stupid, it was obvious that the two of them were together.
But Floyd decided to make the answer very clear for them.
Floyd pulled yuu to him, pressing her against him, “Ah Floyd." Yuu said in surprise, her face heating up. “I caught myself a shrimp.” Floyd teased, leaning down to Yuu face, their mouths an inch away from each other. “F-Floyd.” Yuu whispered quietly, looking shy. Floyd held her face, and kissed her, while Yuu closed her eyes, Floyd kept his eyes open, making eye contact with the two guys, who looked baffled.
Floyd moved away, before picking Yuu up, and tossing her over his shoulder. “Floyd!” Yuu said loudly, before covering her mouth, clearly not expecting her voice to be that loud. “Let's go shrimpy!” Floyd said before marching off to another ride.
After a few more rides, Floyd got bored and wanted to go to the separate pool. As they swam together, Floyd decided to pull a few pranks on a few people. It didn't help that Floyd can breathe under water, even in human form. Yuu was swimming around, looking for Floyd, but she didn’t see him. It wasn’t until she was lifted into the air, she realized too late where he was, “Ah! Floyd!” Yuu yelled, as she got tossed onto his shoulder. “Caught a shrimpy!” Floyd smiled, water falling down his face. Yuu just rolled her eyes, messing up Floyd's hair as pay back.
Yeah this will be an interesting summer.
Deuce invited Yuu to stay with him and his mom for the break, after making a deal for Ace to take Grim for the summer. Deuce wanted to spend the summer with Yuu, without interruptions. Yuu was worried about Grim and missed him, but she was also enjoying the time away from him, not having to worry about watching his every move.
Yuu was helping Dylla, in the kitchen, while Deuce was looking through a small map of his small town. “This would be a good ride, but would it be too bumpy for her?” Deuce muttered to himself, “Deuce?” His mother called out, making the boy jump. He hid the map behind his back, turning his attention to her. “Y-yes mom, what's up?” Deuce asked, acting nervous. Dylla raised a brow at her son. “Deuce, what are you hiding?" Deuce tightened his grip on the paper, “It's nothing, did you need help?” Deuce had hoped to change the subject, but his mother wasn't letting it go so easily.
“Deuce.” Dylla said more sternly, making Deuce freeze up. “...Ok, I was trying to decide where to take Yuu for a date.” Deuce reveals the map that he was hiding, hanging it over to his mom. Whose expression was now lit up with joy, “Awe honey.” Deuce felt his cheeks heat up, "I wanted to take her for a ride, and was trying to find a good spot, where she would enjoy.” Dylla looked at the map, before getting an idea. “How about taking her through the hills that lead to Curious Hare, you always liked that place.”
Deuce thought for a moment, before lighting up, “That's a great idea mom, she would love that.” “Who would love what?” Yuu asked, walking into the living room, cleaning off her hands, looking at the mother and son. They both jumped, sharing the same panic expression. Yuu looked at them confused, as well as trying not to laugh at the clear resemblance between the two.
“Nothing.” They both answered, at the same time, looking at yuu with an awkward smile. Yuu could tell that Dylla was hiding something behind her back. “Alright, Mrs.Spade, I finished with the eggs.” Yuu said, deciding not to comment on the two’s suspicious actions. “Oh yes, thank you, and like I said, you can just call me Dylla.” Dylla said, quickly moving Yuu back to the kitchen, “Can you please get two cups of water ready for me, I'll come help in a minute.” Yuu smiled, a bit confused. “Ok.” she said, giving a quick glance to Deuce who is smiling awkwardly, before walking back into the kitchen.
Dylla and Deuce let out a breath of relief, that she didn't question anything. Dylla turned back towards Deuce, “Deuce, do you need any money for the trip or?” Deuce immediately stopped his mom, “No I'm fine, I was able to earn some by helping around school.” Deuce would rather beg for money from a monkey then ask his mom to give him some of her hard earned extra cash. “Ok, if you're sure, but come to me if you run into a problem.” Dylla reassured, before going back into the kitchen to help Yuu.
Deuce looked back at the map, his mother had handed him. He smiled, thinking of the day he had planned for him and Yuu.
Two days later, Dylla helped Yuu pick an outfit, since Yuu didn't know about what the date intel, all she was told was there was a date. So Dylla got her into baggy blue jeans, with a light blue tank top, with some walking shoes. Yuu liked it, it was casual and comfortable, and it was really nice where they lived, so she didn't have to worry about being too hot out in the sun.
Yuu looked around, as she waited on the side of the road. Her attention was drawn to the sound of an engine coming close to her. She looked to her left to see a motor bike coming close to her, until it stopped in front of her. She smiled when the rider took off the helmet, showing that it is her boyfriend. “Looking cool Deuce.” Yuu teased, Deuce smiled bashfully. “Would you like to go for a ride?” Deuce asked, holding out another helmet for her.
Yuu's smile widened, taking the helmet from Deuce. He smiled in relief, happy she accepted to ride with him. “Trusting you here Deuce.” Yuu teased, before placing the helmet on. Deuce looked at her proudly, "I promise to keep you safe." Yuu laughed from underneath the helmet, before getting on the bike with Deuces’ help.
Once Yuu was secured, and Deuce instructed her to either hold on to him or the bike, Yuu had chosen to hold onto Deuce, not wanting to lean back. Once they were both in a comfortable position, they took off down the road.
The ride was fast but smooth, Deuce made it a fun ride. Yuu was able to look around, and take in the scenery, seeing the hills, lakes, and other parts of the town. Yuu saw that everyone was happily spending time with their families, friends and partners. Yuu liked Deuce's small town, everyone seemed friendly, and it was peaceful, well at least as far as she could tell.
After a quiet, fun ride, they arrived at a small parlor, called Curious Hare. Yuu looked at the place, seeing mostly family and couples around, all carrying ice creams. “Ice cream?” Yuu asked out loud, Deuce nodded, turning off the bike. “Yeah.” He helped Yuu off, before also getting off. They both removed the helmets and placed them onto the bike.
“Me and mom come here every summer, it's our way of kicking off the summer.” Deuce explained with a warm smile, “It’s an ice cream parlor based around the brown hare, from the legend of the queen of hearts. He would attend every tea party, and create odd but delicious items.” Yuu thought for a moment, looking up at the sign, “So I’m guessing the ice cream flavors are going to be a bit…mad?” Yuu smirked, looking over at Deuce. He nodded, laughing a bit, "Exactly.” He and Yuu joined hands, before walking into the small building.
The door chimed, as they walked through, Yuu took a look around, taking in the parlor. It was colorful, and brown rabbits that looked like they were made of chocolates were placed upon the walls. “Awe, this is cute.” Yuu complimented, Deuce smiled at Yuu's reaction, pleased to see that she likes the place.
They stepped up and ordered what they wanted, although Yuu did hesitate, with the names not really giving much away on what was really in the ice cream. But Deuce told her it was part of the fun, and that she can ask if she had any allergy concerns.
Deuce got the Deck of cards bowl, while Yuu got the Cheshire mist. Yuu looked down at the ice cream silently trying to guess what it was, it was a mix of purple and blue, with some brown swirls within it, ‘That has to be chocolate, but what's the rest?’ Yuu thought to herself. Her and Deuce went to sit outside, under an umbrella shaded table. Deuce pulled the seat out for Yuu to sit, before taking his seat next to her.
Deuce ate his happily, before seeing Yuu still questionably look at her ice cream. “It's not going to bite.” Deuce teased, Yuu gave him a ‘Yeah no kidding’ look, before deciding to just take a bite of the ice cream.
Yuu hummed in a surprised delight, enjoying the mix of the flavor, while she still couldn't quite tell what it was, she enjoyed the flavor that came from it. “This is really good.” Yuu said, before taking another bite. Deuce lightly laughs at her reaction, and continues to eat himself. Yuu holds out her spoon, with a scoop from her ice cream towards him.
“Here, try it.” Deuce became a bit flustered, ‘Ok, no big deal, just act natural.’ He tried to silently encourage himself. He took a bite, letting Yuu feed him, a hint of pink crossing his cheeks. Yuu chirped happily, “Isn't it good?” She asked, Deuce couldn't bring himself to meet her eyes, he just nodded in agreement.
Deuce poked at his ice cream, before getting the determination to share his ice cream with her. He scooped it up, and held it out to Yuu, who smiled at deuces shy expression. “H-Here you should try some of…..this…” He stuttered out, trying to not lose his composure. Yuu happily took a bite, taking the ice cream from the spoon.
“That’s better than mine.” Yuu said, after savoring the taste. “Yeah, I always get this when I come here, ever since I tried it, I couldn't stop getting it.” Deuce smiled, remembering all the summers he and Dylla would get the same flavor together.
As they finished their ice cream, Deuce noticed that the sun was setting. “Oh, there's one more place I want to take you before we head back.” Deuce said eagerly, Yuu was confused by the sudden excitement coming from him. “Ok, let's see what you got as an honor student.” Deuce blushed at that, feeling his heart skip a beat from the title. “Yuu.” He muttered shyly. Yuu giggled, getting up from her seat.
Once they were both on the bike, they took off. Yuu held on a bit tighter, due to Deuce going a bit faster than before, he wanted to get to the spot quickly before the sun set. Doing tight turns, and high jumps, Yuu ended up letting out a few yelps as they hit the air.
When they came to a stop, Yuu refused to let go of Deuce, feeling her adrenaline calm down a bit. Yuu let out a laugh that was muffled by the helmet, she slowly got off the bite, Deuce keeping her steady. “Sorry, I forgot that you aren't used to a magic cycle.” Deuce said, looking at her with concern. “It's fine, it was fun, I just need to stay still for a moment.” Yuu assured Deuce, her legs feeling a bit shaky from coming down from the massive speed.
Deuce and Yuu walked up the hill, hand in hand. “Hang on, we're almost there.” Deuce assured, as they walked. Once they reached the top, deuce smiled in delight, pulling Yuu towards the end of the hill, “Look.” Yuu straight, and her eyes slightly widen in amaze.
The view was breathtaking, the different colors in the sky, as the sun set over the distant hills. “Whoa.” Yuu breathed out, taking in the view. Yuu turned his head to look at deuce, but saw that he was no longer by her side. “Deuce?” Yuu called, turning around, and was taken by surprise, seeing deuce behind her holding a bouquet of flowers.
Yuu felt her face become flush, “Ah Deuce..” Yuu said more shyly. Deuce had a goofy smile on his face, looking shy himself. “I uh, got you these, because…I wanted to thank you for coming with me today, and for staying with me for the summer.” Deuce stuttered out. Yuu tried to control the goofy smile that was edging upon her face.
Yuu came closer to him, taking the flowers, “Thank you Deuce.” Yuu said, before planting a quick kiss on his cheek. Deuce let out a shy laugh, before tripping over his own feet, sending both him and Yuu down.
They both caught themselves, both sitting next to each other, they looked into each other's eyes, before sharing a laugh. Laying fully down in the grass together, looking at the sky as clouds pass by. Their hands found each other, giving each other a light squeeze.
This summer will be great.
Ace didn't want Yuu to stay alone during the summer, so he struck a deal with deuce. Grim goes with Deuce and Yuu goes with Ace. it didn't go that smoothly, but it ended up working in Ace’s favor.
Ace had a great date idea, but there was something stopping him…. Ace had done his best to keep Yuu from his older brother, but he needed a ride. “Ok, how much will it pay you to be silent?” Ace asked his older brother, who was looking down at him with a cheeky smile. “Hmm?” his brother acted as if he was thinking, “Try, 20 thumbmarks.” Ace’s older brother answered, Ace groaned, before pulling out his wallet. “Fine. Here.” Ace handed him the thumbmarks.
His brother opened his mouth, “Nope didn't work, try again.” Ace clenched his fist, feeling frustrated with the man in front of him. “Ace?” Yuu called out, walking out with her bag, and her summer clothing, which is just a beach dress over her swin suit.
Ace turned around, acting cool in front of her. “Are we ready to go?” She asked, looking between the two Trappola’s. “Yep, hop right in.” Ace's brother said, looking cheery. “Ok, great, thanks for giving us a ride.” Yuu smiled at Ace's older brother. Yuu got into the back seat, as Ace gave her an awkward forced smile.
As soon as the door shut, Ace glared at his brother. “Not a word about…you know what.” Ace remembered, before going to the front seat, looking back at Yuu, who gave him a confused look. She could tell something was off with him, but knew he wasn't going to share voluntarily.
Ace’s brother hopped into the driver seat, giving a glance to both his younger brother and the girl in the back seat. “Alright lets go.” With that they drove off to the beach.
As they drove, they listened to music. Ace's brother asked Yuu some questions, which Ace would side eye him each time he did. Yuu enjoyed getting to know Ace’s brother as well, also enjoying hearing stories about her boyfriend. Ace looked away embarrassed, not saying anything but staring out the window.
Ace only perked up when he saw the beach within view, “Hey Yuu check it.” Yuu looked out the window and saw the beach, filled with people, having fun, “Whoa, this is bigger than the one one sage island.” Yuu said in amaze. Ace grinned, feeling proud with the beach he chose. His brother noticed his smug expression, but chose not to comment on it yet.
Once they pulled into the beach, Ace hopped out of the car, waiting for Yuu to open hers. She hopped out of her, looking at Ace, who now had his back to her. ‘Huh…’ She thought to herself, wondering why he was acting off. “Ace?” Yuu called out to him, and he turned to her, wearing a fake smile.
“Let’s go.” Ace said holding his hand out to her, Yuu felt more at ease with that and took his hand. Ace and his brother talked as they walked closer to the beach, trying to find a spot, “Oh how about over there?” Yuu pointed out a low hanging tree, near the water, but the waves were not reaching it. “Oh yeah, great find.” Ace said, looking more pumped than before. He immediately dragged yuu with him, as they quickly made their way over to the spot. His brother decided to lag behind a bit, giving the couple a minute.
Ace and Yuu, place their bags down, laying down the extra towels they had brought, as they waited for Ace's brother, who was carrying the chairs. Yuu looked over at her boyfriend, giving him a teasing glance, “So, your brother is cool.” Ace scratched the back of his head, “Heha yeah, I guess.” Ace then looked down at the sand, not knowing what to say.
Yuu noticed the awkward air surrounding him, “Hey we should put on some sun block, before we stay in the sun for too long.” Ace immediately snapped out of his small daze, “Yeah your right, I burn easy, and it sucks taking care of it.” Ace chuckled, as the sound of footsteps came closer to the couple. “It's true, he fell asleep once, and spent the entire day sitting in an ice bath.” His brother chuckled at the memory.
Ace's face became a bit flushed, “Yeah, at least I can tell the difference between a cat and a skunk.” Yuu looked over at his brother, who chuckled, “Fair.” He said, as he sat the chairs down, and began to set them up. “Oh here let me help.” Yuu said, taking the extra chairs, and placing them. “Thanks.” Ace looked through the bag, taking out a few more items.
After getting everything set up, the small group started discussing what to do. “Well I'm going to work on my tan, how about you both go for a swim.” Ace’s brother said, as he placed the sun screen on himself.
Ace looked over at Yuu, she looked back at him, both sharing a silent look, asking if they wanted to. “Yeah why not.” Ace said, removing his shirt, and sun glasses. Yuu removed her beach dress, showing off her bathing suit.
Ace's face flushed, so much so you could almost mistake him for Riddle. He didn’t notice that he was gawking, until his eyes met with Yuu’s. “Eyes are up here Ace.” Yuu teased, making Ace blush more. “Ugh, oh come off.” Ace looked away embarrassed. “Heheh Yuu, look nice yourself.” Yuu teased, reaching for the sun screen.
They both began rubbing it on their skin, before it came time for their backs. Yuu did aces no problem, ace even teased her while she was doing it, causing Yuu to slightly blush.
However when it came to Yuu’s back. Ace held his hands a bit away from Yuu's skin, not knowing what is safe to touch, Yuu sat there leaning forward, waiting for Ace to start. “If you want I can do it if you're too shy.” His brother teased, and Ace shot him a look. “I got it.”
“Then do it.” Yuu said, from her hunched over state, getting tired of waiting. “Ok bossy.” Ace said, no longer feeling embarrassed, placing the sun screen on her back, with frustration. “Ace!” Yuu scolded, making Ace realize what he was doing, “Ah my bad, forgot how sensitive you are.” Ace joked, applying more sun screen.
Once they were finally done, they hit the shed. Well that was the plan, but…. “Oh, it's cold!” The couple said together, stepping out for the water, letting the sun hit their now cold skin.
“Ok, it’s best to get it over with.” Ace said, staring at the water as if it were a challenge. “True, but it does not make it easier.” Yuu retorted. Ace glared at her, she looked back at him confused, “What?” Ace rolled his eyes, “Oh!” Ace said suddenly, “I have an idea.”
Yuu looked at him confused, Ace walked closer to Yuu, and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder. “ACE!” She yelled in surprise, and began to lightly hit his back. “Put me down!” Ace just laughs, and walks to the ocean. “Ace don't you dare!” Yuu warned, as Ace walked deeper into the ocean, going up to his knees. “This should be good.” Yuu tensed, trying to hold onto Ace, so she stayed on his shoulder. “Ace, I mean it, don't you dare!” But Ace didn't listen to Yuu's promising threat.
Yuu then found herself, getting thrown off of Ace's shoulder, and into the cold ocean. “Ace!” Yuu yelled, sitting up, staring up at her boyfriend. Ace only laughed, looking down at her, Yuu glared up at him, before seeing that her legs were right where Ace was standing. Yuu acted like she was going to stand up, but used the chance to sweet Ace’s legs, making him fall down.
Ace sat up, spitting out the salty water in his mouth. “Ack!” He coughed, Yuu laughed, as Ace playfully glared at her. Splashing some water at her, she squealed, before splashing him back. They continued to rough house, until they both became a bit tired. “Ok, ok, time out, I need a drink, my mouth is too salty.” Ace said, putting his hands up in surrender. “Yeah, alright.” Yuu said, pushing some water from her face.
Ace walked over to his brother, asking him for money, and he just gave him his 20 thumbmarks back. “Spend it wisely this time.” He said, before placing the sun glasses back onto his face. Ace scoffed, before walking with Yuu to the small concession stands. “Should we get slushies or soda?” Ace asked, looking over at Yuu for her opinion. She thought for a moment, before answering. “Alright, I’ll go, you go find something to eat.” Yuu nodded, the two walking away from each other.
Yuu was waiting in line, she heard the two men behind her talking, not being subtle at all. “Isn’t she cute.” “Yeah, you think she's with anyone?” Yuu was praying that they were talking about her, ‘But them talking about someone else is not any better.’ She thought, not knowing what to do. ‘Just get the food, and find Ace.’ Yuu thought to herself, as it was her turn to order.
Ace had grabbed the two drinks, both different flavors, because he wanted both, and figured he could have some from Yuu’s. Ace placed the drinks down on a table that had an umbrella covering it, he looked around for Yuu. When he spotted her, he saw that she was holding a bag of food, and two guys around her age were standing a bit too close to her. Her face screamed being uncomfortable. Ace clenched his jaw, heading towards them, taking his magic pen in his hands.
“Come on, hang out with us for a bit.” The taller of the two college kids attempted to persuade Yuu, “No thank you.” Yuu said, trying to walk off, but the shorter one stepped in her way. “Ok, how about we hang out with you then?” Yuu's face became dumbfounded, ‘Stupid, these guys are stupid.’ Before she could respond, the two guys “Excuse me?” The two felt the tap on their shoulder, they turned to see Ace standing behind them. “Hey, so you two are being creeps.” Ace said, brutally honest.
Yuu's eyes went wide, she didn't know what she was expecting, but this wasn't it. “What did you say kid?” Ace rolled his eyes, “I said, you're both being creeps, she said no.” Ace spoke a bit louder, gaining some people's attention. The two unknown college kids looked around, noticing the eyes on them, feeling uncomfortable. “We were just talking to her, how is this your problem?”
Ace clenched his fist, annoyed with these guys, “Seems I need to dumb it down to your level, She’s. Not. Into. You.” Ace spoke slowly, staying every word clearly. The two become more enraged. Yuu moved to ace, avoiding the two. “Ace, come on, these guys aren't worth it.” Yuu grabbed Ace's hand, but this made the two annoying boys in front of them scoff. “This is your type?” Before Ace could rebuttal, Yuu stepped in.
“Yeah, he is, because unlike you both, he actually has something going for him.” Yuu then walked off with Ace, who gave the guys a smug smirk. The two were about to follow, but were stopped by another pair of hands grabbing their shoulders. They turned over to see an older version of the boy who just walked away. “Hey, let's have a chat.” He said with a tight smile.
Ace and Yuu took a seat, both letting out a sigh. “That sucked.” Ace said, taking a sip from his drink. He then looked at Yuu, who was getting the food out, trying to distract herself. “You good?” Ace asked her, as she handed him his food. “Uh yeah, I'm fine, that was just…” Yuu didn’t have to say it, Ace could tell what she was going to say. “Don't worry about those jerks, I’m here for you so you don't have to worry.” Yuu looked at Ace in shock, as he took a fry and threw it into his mouth.
She looked down slightly blushing, not expecting Ace to be that smooth. “Hey, can I ask you something?” Yuu asked, playing with her food a bit. “You just did.” Ace smirked, Yuu gave him a not amused expression. “Ok, not the time, what’s up?” Yuu let out a breath, thinking on how to word this. “Why were you being weird in the car?” Ace choked on his food, not expecting that to be her question. “What do you mean, I wasn't being weird.” Yuu gave him a look, causing him to sigh, seeing that he was not fooling anyone.
“I was a little worried about you coming to the beach with us.” Yuu didn't say anything, just let him continue at his own pace. “Me and my brother get along, but ....he's a lot cooler than I am.” Ace played with another fry, “I guess, I was sort of….worried about you liking him more than me. Which I wouldn't blame you for.” Ace said, placing the fry in his mouth, not meeting Yuu’s eye. Yuu paused for a moment, before reaching for Ace's hand, taking it in hers. Ace tensed a bit, but didn't move away. “Your brother’s cool, there is no denying that.” Ace clicked his tongue, “Yeah, great way to reassure me.” Yuu squeezed his hand, telling him to stay quiet. “However, you are a bit cooler.” Ace looked at her confused, “Ace, without a second thought, you came to help me and grim multiple times. You were the first person to say something against riddle when he was acting like a tyrant. Not to mention, your spell…” Yuu hinted that Ace wanted to get it under control before telling his family about it. “Plus, not every freshman can say they saved the school from an overblot multiple times.”
Ace smirked, moving his hand up, intertwining their fingers together. “Yeah, I am pretty cool huh?” Ace said, acting like his usual smug self. “Oh and humble.” Yuu says sarcastically. Ace flicked a fry at her nose, making her slightly jump. “Aye.” She said with a laugh, that Ace shared with her.
Once the sun began to set, the three packed up their stuff, before heading back to the car. Ace decided to sit with Yuu in the back seat, this time. When hitting a red light, Ace's brother looked back at the two, “Did you two have a good time?” He paused, smirking, and taking a quick picture of the two. Both asleep, Yuu's head leaning against Ace's shoulder, Ace resting his head against hers, as their hands are intertwined. Sleeping soundly together, a peaceful smile on their face. “Good for you Ace.” His brother said, with a smile, driving again once the light turned green.
This Summer will be fun.
Rook and Yuu had a different idea on a simple summer date.
When Rook suggested for them to see a play that was being put on in the park, Yuu accepted, wanting to do something that Rook would enjoy. However, what she pictured as a small theater in the park, not a play being played out in an amphitheater. Yuu didn't mind, it beat sitting on the ground, that's for sure, she was just very unprepared for it.
She had worn a nice sun dress, and a very nice hat, Rook had caught her. Rook wore a matching outfit, with a matching hat, and he looked very pleased with them matching with each other.
The two walked hand in hand, as they looked around the large seating area, arriving early before the show. “We should get seated, so we get the best view of the play.” Rook guided Yuu to the seats he thought would be best for them.
Yuu was impressed, they were great seats, and Rook had found them right away. “Wow.” Yuu breathed out, looking around,seeing others start to come in and take their seats. “So what's the play about?” Yuu asked, looking at her boyfriend, who was looking through the pamphlet. “Oh this is a play I saw when I was a child, oh I still remember how it made my heart skip a beat, the passion and the drama.” Yuu watched her dramatic boyfriend explain, getting lost in the moment.
“What's it about Rook?” Yuu asked again, smiling at her boyfriend's antics. “Oh my apologies.” Rook then told Yuu about the play, as the seats continued to fill.
Their chatter ceased when the play started, Yuu enjoyed it, when she would look over to see rook’s reaction she saw that he was watching her instead of the play. Yuu felt her face flush, realizing that he was seeing her reactions to the scenes in the play. ‘I should probably try to control my face.’ Yuu thought to herself. As if Rook could read her mind he lifted her face up, having her look back at the play before leaning in to whisper into her ear. “Please relax, I enjoy seeing your reactions to the play ma chérie.” (My love)
Yuu tried to hide the shiver Rook had sent up her spine, with his breath touching her ear, but Rook of course noticed it. He leaned back into his seat, tightening his grip on Yuu hand, still watching her.
After the play, Yuu finally felt like she could breathe, Rook had let go of her hand and clapped for the performance. “Bravo! Bien joué!" (great job, well done.) Yuu clapped as well, smiling, she did enjoy the play, she just knew that Rook was looking at her the entire time.
They talked about the play, Rook talking about the differences between when he saw when he was younger and now. Yuu shared her favorite parts of the play.
They spent the rest of the day walking around, seeing what else the park had to offer. The sun had set, and Rook was dragging Yuu to another place in a hurry. “Rook, slow down, I'm going on a trip.” Yuu said, trying to keep pace with her boyfriend. “Sorry Yuu, but it is important that we make it before it starts.” Rook said, not slowing his speed. ‘What is he up to now?’
They had arrived at a clearing, many couples and friends were sitting on the ground, paired with blankets, facing a large screen. “Oh an outdoor movie?” Yuu said in realization. “Oui! And not just any movie, a movie that Roi du Poison did in his younger youth.” Yuu's curiosity peeked, “Oh really, I wonder what Vil looked like as a kid.” Yuu thought out loud, as Rook took her to a blanket he had prepared in advance. “Please have a seat.”
Rook held her hand as she sat on the purple blanket. Rook then sat beside her, the movie started up, playing some trailers first. As a man in a uniform came around and handed out popcorn. “Wow, I didn't know they did things like this.” Rook smiled with pride, liking his decision to set this up.
Rook had fed Yuu some popcorn and a drink, Yuu acting embarrassed by this, while Rook had no shame in his actions. Yuu fed him back, and held his drink for him, and Rook treated it as a great honor. “To be fed by your lovely hands, my heart sings with joy.” He said after the first bite.
The movie begins, and the two go into a comfortable position. Yuu leaned against Rook’s chest with her back, Rook kept an arm wrapped around her, holding her close, lightly lending his head on hers, as he watched the scree, and as he took in her scent.
Yuu had to control her squeal when she saw a mini vil on screen, ‘He's so cute!’ Yuu through, smiling wide, feeling the cuteness aggression overcoming her. “Even as a child, Vil was the most beautiful.” Yuu had to agree with Rook, you could almost mistake young Vil as a girl, if it weren't for his outfits that made it clear he was a boy.
Yuu began to tear up at a scene between Vil and Neige, ‘They should not be this good at acting.’ Yuu thought to herself. Rook whipped away her tears, she looked at him to thank him, but saw that he was crying, more than her. “Such a touching scene.” Rook said, Yuu now wiping away his tears.
Yuu smiled, confronting her boyfriend, the movie got better, ending with Vil being the villain, which made Yuu cringe a bit, given what she knows. “Well, I know Vil doesn't like being the villain, but everyone loves a good villain.” Yuu said, as she helped Rook clean up. Rook nodded with a wide smile, "Exactly, a glorious villain is always remembered, but Roi de Neige was an excellent hero, such a wonderful choice of cast.” Yuu didn't know whether to feel jealous or not that Rook was more obsessed with two beautiful men than her. ‘Eh it's fair, I love my fictional men.’ she brushed off the tough taking rooks arm in her hand.
“Thank you for today Rook, I had a lot of fun.” Rook's eyes shined bright at her word. “Of course my belle, anything for you.” Rook placed a gentle kiss upon her forehead.
This summer will be beautifully dramatic.
Silver was thrilled that Lilia allowed Yuu to stay with them for the summer.
It was a lovely day, the weather was nice and warm, with a cool breeze coming and going, some clouds in the sky blocking the sun at certain angles. Yuu was helping Silver outside, as he was feeding a few of the forest animals. Handing out some seed, and berries. When one of the bunnies tried getting silver attention. “Hmm?” One of the black dotted bunnies began to talk to them, “Oh sure, Hey Yuu.” Silver turned to look at his girlfriend, who was handing out berries to some squirrels. “Yeah?” She asked, looking up from feeding the squirrels. “The animals are trying to lead me somewhere.” Silver said, with his usual monotone expression.
Yuu looked over at the bunnies that were eagerly hopping around, trying to get Silver to follow them. “Oh ok, should I return to the cottage?” Yuu asked, not quite knowing what to do. Silver thought for a moment, he didn’t want to leave Yuu alone, but he didn't want to disappoint the animals. “Father should be back by now, would you mind keeping him company?” Silver asked, watching Yuu closely, with pure interest. “Yeah no problem, I'll make sure he doesn't cook anything.” Yuu sort of jokes, but knowing that if she sees the older fae in the kitchen, she would need to step in.
Yuu walked towards the cottage, Silver watched her, feeling the urge to follow her until she reached the cottage, to make sure she got there safely. However his attention was taken by the small animals calling at him. “Oh of course, let's go.” Silver followed them.
When Yuu returned to the cottage, she saw a note attached to the door. Yuu read it.
Dear Yuu,
I have left you a special gift at the table, please put it on and follow the cute little birds.
Lilia
Yuu smiled, taking the note off the door, heading inside. She looked at the table and saw two small birds sitting on the table, eating some seeds. They look up at her, giving a small chirp as a greeting. “Hi.” Yuu paused, remembering that they don't understand her like they do with Silver. “Oh uh…Chirp Chirp….” Yuu said a bit awkwardly, trying to remember how to say hi in bird language. The birds paused, before chirping happily, and continuing to eat their seeds. Yuu let out a sigh of relief, ‘I was so scared that I insulted them.’ Yuu looked at the table, seeing a lovely wrapped box placed on it. Yuu went over, slowly not wanting to startle the birds, and started unwrapping the box. After lifting the lid of the box, Yuu saw the cute sun dress laid within it. “Oh!” Yuu said in surprise, picking up the dress to measure it against herself. “This is cute.” Yuu said, taking in the blue dress, with small splashes of pink at the ends.
Meanwhile, Silver was walking upon a small stream, the animals getting more excited as they got closer to the destination. Silver couldn't help but smile at their behavior, wondering what they had planned.
Silver saw a large tree that was in full bloom, underneath that was a laid blanket with a picnic basket on top of it. All the animals went and sat on the blanket, he followed their lead, and sat down with them. “What did you all want to show me?” Silver asked, oblivious to the romantic vibe that was set. The animals didn't answer him, Silver didn't quite know what to do, but his eyes started to feel heavy, “Hmm no…not…yet…..Zzz..” Silver fell against the blanket, his eyes closing, and his breath steady.
Yuu walked through the forest, following the chatty birds, who couldn't hold their excitement. She smiled at their behavior, finding it cute, walking across the streamed path. Yuu let out a small whistle of a song she had thought of, catching the bird's attention, they looked at her in surprise, “Oh I guess that may sound like words to you both huh?” Yuu awkwardly laughs, the birds continue to stare at Yuu, as if asking her to continue. She takes note of this, and does, the birds chirped happily, before continuing the path.
Yuu came up to the meeting place, where she saw Silver laying down on a blanket, fast asleep. Yuu smiled softly, looking at her sleeping prince. She quite walked, even though there was no need since a blow horn couldn’t wake silver from his slumber. The small animals moved away as she approached, just giving her space, not moving too far.
Yuu smiled kindly at them, before taking a seat by silver, taking a moment to admire her handsome boyfriend. Bringing her hand up, to lightly push some of the hair out of his face. Silver felt her hand, and leaned into it, enjoying the familiarity of her touch. Yuu smiled widened, she just continued to sit there, letting Silver rest against her hand.
After a few minutes, some of the bunnies hopped over, and began to point at the basket. Yuu chuckled at the cute sight, she looked back down at her boyfriend, moving her hand a bit, causing Silver to stir. Yuu leaned down closer to him, whispering to him, “Silver. Wake up.” But she stopped when she remembered who this was. “Silver.” Yuu said normally, startling the animals around her, Silver still didn't budge, so she saw only one option left.
Yuu sat up, moving a bit away from him, before speaking once more. “Silver, your fathers cooking!” Yuu said with fake panic. Silver immediately shot up, looking around in a panic, “What!? Why?!” Silver then relaxed when he realized where he was, letting out a relief sigh. “Oh..” Silver felt a bit embarrassed by his actions, Yuu tried to hide her laugh, but he heard it perfectly clear. “How long was I asleep?” Silver asked, trying to hide his embarrassment, “Don’t know, I just got here a few minutes ago.”
Yuu looked around them, at the small flowers around, a closed picnic basket, a small tray of plates, and some variety of drinks. “Did you set this up?” Yuu asked, with a teasing tone. But Silver just looked confused, “No, this was here when I arrived.” Yuu felt a little bummed that he didn't get her teasing tone, but decided not to mention it. “Ok, then who…?”
It clicked with the young couple, realizing that the animals lead them here on someone else's wishes. They both chuckled, feeling touched by the small date set up for them. “That man loves surprises." Yuu said, looking at Silver fondly, “Yes, he will always surprise me.” Silver smiled, thinking of his father, and how he would often do such kind gestures for him.
Silver's smile disappeared, when he saw the picnic basket, getting reminded of the time when he and Lilia went for a picnic themselves, and Lilia had packed their lunch, it did not turn out well.
Silver grabbed the basket, and thought about just tossing it, but he had this feeling that he should check inside first. When he opened it, he was pleasantly surprised, seeing store bought food, with a note placed on top of some sandwiches. Silver picked it up, and read it.
Dear Silver and Yuu,
I hope you are enjoying my surprise! You two should enjoy this alone time, but don't have too much fun. 😉 I’ll be waiting at home for you both, be back before night fall!
Lilia
Silver smile returned to his face, feeling grateful and a bit shy by his fathers words. Silver looked over at Yuu, “Are you hungry?” Yuu relaxed, knowing that Silver would not have asked her, if he had truly planned for her and him to eat the food. She nodded, and Silver began to pass out the food.
After getting themselves set up, they picked out drinks, different foods in their plates, and two separated note books that were left in the basket, a book filled with questions. Silver had the book that had questions relating to dates that the two could go on, while Yuu had questions relating to them personally, it was a creative way for them to get closer.
And that's what they did, Silver was able to stay awake, wanting to listen to Yuu responses to the questions he asked, and wanted to be able to answer her as well. In the middle of one of the questions, Yuu got an idea, and held out a strawberry for Silver. He looked at her confused, not quite knowing what she was doing. “Take a bite.” Silver didn’t see a reason not to, so he took a bite, surprising Yuu. ‘Huh, not much embarrasses him huh?’ Yuu thought, watching her boyfriend happily eat the strawberry. Silver decided to do the same thing for Yuu, holding out a small sweet, however, Yuu's face became flustered. Upon looking at Silver's beautiful face, as he held out the delicious sweet towards her, with a charming smile. “Take a bite.” He repeated what she had said.
Yuu hesitated, but leaned forward and took a bite out of the sweet. Silver smiled as he watched her, finding her cute. He saw that her face was becoming red, he brought his free hand up to her face, catching Yuu off guard. “Are you feeling alright, is it too hot for you?” Silver asked, leaning in close. Yuu tried to respond, but what came out was a stuttered form of words. This made Silver worry a bit more, but before he could say anything else, two of the squirrels snuck up behind him, jumping onto his back, pushing him forward.
Silver and yuu fell together, with Silver landing on top of Yuu, causing their lips to meet. Yuu and Silver's eyes widened, Silver immediately pushed himself up, now lending above Yuu, “I'm sorry-” Yuu wrapped her hands around Silver's neck, pulling him back down. Silver face became slightly pink, ‘Ah better.’ Yuu thought, before bringing Silver lips back to hers. The animals looked away shyly from the passionate scene, as the couple continued.
This summer will definitely be sweet.
There was no possible way that Malleus was going to leave his beloved behind by herself for the entire summer. But knowing that if he were to bring Yuu, he would need to bring Grim as well, but he was able to leave Grim in the care of Lilia, Sebek, and Silver, for the special occasion he had planned today.
Yuu was preparing for bed, when she heard something come from the balcony. “Hmm?” She slowly moved to it, moving a bit of the curtains back to look out, and she saw her boyfriend floating above the railing. His hands behind his back and a charming smile upon his face, Yuu smiled back, and opened the door. “Evening Horton.” Yuu said, giving him a teasing look. “Evening my dear.” Mallues said, floating down to stand in front of Yuu, he then removed one of his hands behind his back showing off a bouquet of flowers she had never seen before.
“Oh Mallues.” Yuu said, touched, using his real name, taking the flowers, “They are lovely.” Yuu breathed them in, a gentle feeling overcome her mood. “Thank you.” Yuu smiled kindly at her fae prince, Mallues smiled proudly, pleased with Yuu's reaction. He took one of the flowers out, placing it behind her ear, “Hmm I was right, you are more lovely.” Malleus said, looking into Yuu’s eyes.
Yuu felt her face heat up, moving away from Mallue's gaze. Mallues chuckled at her reaction, finding her cute. “Yuu.” Malleus called her, getting her to look at him again. “Please allow me the honor of having your company for this evening.” Malleus held his hand out to her. Yuu felt less flustered, “Of course, just let me change.”
Yuu was about to head back in, but was stopped by Malleus, “There is no need.” Malleus waved his hand around, letting a green light cover Yuu, placing her into a black shoulder less, short sleeve, knee length dress. The flower in her hair now became a clip. “Whoa.” Yuu looked down at her dress, liking the flow it had, allowing her to move freely. ‘Oh he even placed shoes on me.’ Yuu thought, seeing that she was in short flat boots. “Thank you my prince.” Yuu jokingly bowed to Malleus.
Mallues decided to play along, he held out his hand again, “If it is what you desire my love.” And Yuu lost, Mallues eyes were filled with love, and his voice made her heart skip a beat. Yuu took his hand with hers, he then pulled her close to where she was now meeting his chest. Malleus wrapped his arm around her, being careful on how he held her. “Let's be off.” Malleus then flew into the air, holding onto yuu.
Yuu immediately grabbed Mallues shirt, trying to hold onto him for balance. She peeked her eyes open, before opening them wide, seeing the full view of Briar Valley. “Whoa.” Malleus smiled, seeing Yuu's expression, as she took in his land.
The couple soon arrived at a stone path. Mallues let Yuu out of his hold, Yuu looked around, noticing the path seemed a bit old. “Where are we?” Yuu looked up at her boyfriend, with a confused look. “A place I discovered when I was a child.” Malleus held out his arm for Yuu to take, offering to escort her. Yuu happily linked her arm with him, they both then walked down the path together.
As they walked, Malleus pointed out a few things he had found interesting as a child, and what he has learned about them since. Yuu saw in the distance there was an old building, looking like it was on the verge of falling over. Yuu could help but let out a light laugh, causing Malleus to look at her confused. “What is amusing?” Yuu shook her head, “It's just, you've been exploring ruins since you were young, I'm glad you never lost that child like wonder with age.” Yuu explained, leaning a bit closer to Malleus.
Mallues eyes widened, not expecting that response. He felt the tops of his ears feel a bit warm, “Hehe you humans are so carefree.” Mallues said, trying to brush off his shy state. Yuu could hear it in his voice, but didn't comment on it
They reach the ruin, and look around, Malleus finding some new thing about it, he then finds a gargoyle he had found on his own. “Oh dear, it was in such a fine state when I had left it last, but look at this poor thing, a wing is missing, and a horn is cracked off.” Malleus said, picking up the piece of the broken gargoyle horn.
“Oh that's too bad…but hey, you can make this a project during the break.” Yuu said, kneeling down with Malleus to look at the gargoyle resting on the ground. Mallues's eyes widened in realization, "You're right, I can mend this myself now.” Malleus smiled, seeming to be looking forward to the project. “You would like to help me?” Malleus asked, looking at Yuu with curiosity and hope. Yuu smiled widened, "I'd love to if you would have me.” Mallues looked like he was just given the best gift in the world. “Excellent, I will plan it right away once we return. There is one more place I want to show you.” Malleus stood up, offering his hand to help Yuu up, which she gladly accepted.
They walked up some stairs, Mallues keeping a good hold on Yuu in case they gave out. Once they reached the roof, Mallues tested to make sure it was sturdy. When he saw that it was safe, he helped Yuu up. Yuu looked around, and saw the view, it was nothing compared to the view Maulles had given her himself, but it was quite a sight. “This is so cool.” Yuu said, looking around, seeing where they had walked from.
She turned to look at Mallues, but paused to see that there was a blanket and two pillows. “Whats this?” Mallues didn't answer, just waved her over. She walked closer to him, a wind passing by, flowing her dress back.
Malleus brought his hand up to her face, closing her eyes gently. She let her eyes stay closed, “May I lift you?” He asked, softly whispering in her ear. Yuu nodded, not trusting her voice to stay steady. Malues picked her up bride style, before moving her down to the blanket. Gently placing her head on the pillow, moving her hair out of her face. Mallues then moved to lay next to her, “Open your eyes.” Mallues softly whispered.
Yuu slowly opened her eyes, and was met with a sky full of shining stars. Yuu couldn't say anything, the sky was so clear, and the stars were shining so bright, that they almost seemed to be different colors. “I came up here once, thinking there might be more to see, but all I had found were stars.” Mallues spoke, staring up at the sky. “I don't get to see them when I truly need them.” Yuu knew what he was referring to, when he’s upset, the weather matches him.
“I have noticed something strange recently.” Malleus turned his gaze to Yuu, and she met him. “Whenever I'm with you, the skies become clear, on our walks I can always see the stars shining above us.” Yuu brought a hand up to Mallues face, picking up a loose piece of his hair. “I’ve seen many enjoyable sights with you, I feel truly blessed.” Malleus said, his eyes filled with adoration and love.
Yuu couldn't help it, she moved closer to the fae prince, planting a kiss on his lips. Malleus was surprised, but relaxed into it, reciprocating the kiss, pulling her closer to him. They moved away, resting their foreheads against each other, “Hornton, you are the most senerier man I know. I have never once doubted you, not once have I felt fear of you. I have felt fear for you, that I can not deny.”
Mallues eyes widened in disbelief, “You felt fear for me?” Mallues has never heard someone say that to him, many fear him, but no one has said that they were scared for him, after all there isn't much that can burn him. “Yes, when I see you watching Silver and Sebek, I can tell you are savoring the moments. With our walks I can tell there is something on your mind that you are afraid to share.” Yuu moved away so their eyes could meet. “And I know that no matter how much time will pass, you will still feel alone.” Malleus felt his throat dry. “I-” Malleus was in shock, he didn't even realize it himself, ‘I am scared.’
“Mallues.” Yuu moved his face for him to meet hers, “You need to know, no matter how much time will pass, no matter how many come and go. You will still have someone that loves you. Whether that be Lilia, your grandmother, Silver, Sebek, or even me. You will always be loved, because you were born to be loved.” Mallues felt a small tear roll down his face, not of sadness, but of relief. “Yuu, this will be my only ask. Please stay with me, for as long as fate allows.” Yuu nodded. “I will be with you, even if you can't see me.”
Malleus moved this time, sitting up, kissing Yuu as she remained laying down, Yuu wrapping her arms around him, not letting him go.
This summer will be filled with love and memories.
Now, this took some major convincing and planning, Riddle knew his mother wouldn't approve of him having a girlfriend, especially one without magic, and no known background placed in this world, all she had was a broken down dorm.
Luckily for them, Trey had volunteered to let Yuu stay with him for the summer, that way she and Riddle can just meet up. Wanting to help the couple, truly enjoy their summer.
Riddle was currently waiting at the meeting place they had agreed upon, his mother was unaware of where he was really going, he left before she got the chance to ask for more details. “Riddle!” He looked over, hearing his name get called, when he found the course of the voice, his face became flushed.
Riddle had been so used to seeing his partner in the night raven uniform, that seeing her in different clothing, was a surprising sight. Yuu waves at him, now wearing a red tank top, and some shorts, with walking shoes. “Morning my queen.” Yuu said, as she stood in front of Riddle, her voice in a teasing tone.
Riddle stood still, not saying anything, his mouth slightly opened. Yuu looked at him confused, for two reasons, one Riddle was just standing there not saying anything, two Riddle is not exactly wearing amusement park clothes. “Riddle?” Yuu called out again, causing the red head to snap out of it. “Oh my apologies, I was-uh” Riddle felt his face become more flustered, he was not used to tripping over his words.
Yuu giggled at her boyfriend's shy behavior, before gently grabbing his hand. “Come on, let's go have fun.” Riddle smiled warmly at her, walking with her towards the entrance of the amusement park.
After paying for their tickets, they walked in, Riddle looking around with pure curiosity. “Curiouser and curiouser.” Riddle muttered out. Yuu silently chuckled, watching Riddle expression, “What would you like to do first?” Yuu asked, after letting Riddle take in the amusement park. “Oh uh…” Riddle pulled out the pamphlet of the park that he had gotten. Yuu looked over at him, as he looked over the map. “Acutally before that, we should go shopping.” Riddle looked up at her confused.
“Why isn't shopping usually saved during or after going around?” Yuu nodded, “Yeah, but I think it's best we get you more comfortable clothes.” Riddle looked down at his outfit, realizing that he was feeling rather warm, in his sort of professional attire. “Oh.” Riddle cleared his throat, “Yes, that might be for the best.” Yuu's smile widened, seeing the shy look on Riddle's face. “Ok, let's go.”
After finding a small shop that had clothing fitting to Riddle's taste, the couple began to look around, finding some clothing they liked, however, Riddle ended up finding a few items he thought Yuu would look nice in. He jumped when he felt a tap on his shoulder, “Find anything you like?” Yuu asked, holding a few items in her hands.
“Oh no, still looking, it seems you found a few.” Riddle looked at the clothing Yuu was holding, she nodded, “Yep, thought these would fit you perfectly.” Riddle smiled, feeling touched, that she was able to pick out a few outfits she thought he would like.
Riddle and Yuu found the changing rooms, Yuu waited outside looking around at the merchandise nearby. Her attention was drawn back to the changing room, when the door opened. Yuu looked very pleased, when seeing how the outfit fit him. “Ah you look great!” Yuu complimented him, Riddle looked down at the outfit he had on. He has a short sleeved red unbuttoned shirt, with a plain white shirt underneath. Light gray shorts, and red walking shoes.
“How do you feel?” Yuu asked, mindlessly straightening out his extra shirt. “It feels nice, although I am not used to this kind of clothing.” Riddle explained, looking at Yuu lovely, as she fixed his attire. “But do you like it?” She asked, looking up at him, realizing how close their faces were to each other.
The couples faces matched in blushing, taking a quick step away from each other. “Uh yes…thank you.” Yuu didn't say anything in return, just giving a slight nod, “Here, give me the tags, I’ll go pay for them, so you can just wear them out.” Yuu said, taking the tags off, to get them scanned. “Wait, allow me to pay for them.” Yuu smiled nicely, “It's fine, let this be a gift from me.” Yuu walked off to pay for them, not letting Riddle know that she had swiped some money from Crowley, before leaving to Trey's place, without letting him know.
Riddle felt touched by the sentiment, before looking back at the items in the store, seeing a hat that was blue, with a small white small cat that was sleeping, on it. Riddle looked at the hat and then at Yuu, who was talking to one of the employees of the shop. He immediately moved to the other register, and paid for the hat.
Yuu turned around to talk to Riddle, but was stopped when the hat was placed on her head, lightly covering her eyes. Yuu paused in surprise, before lifting the hat smiling at Riddle, who was already sharing the smile. “It fits.” he said, offering yuu his arm, she happily took it, and they walked out of the shop.
They began with small games, Riddle became frustrated when he lost. Yuu helped him calm down, before having him try again, and giving him some pointers. When Riddle did win, he felt so overjoyed he ended up hugging Yuu in celebration. She didn't mind or comment on it, not wanting to make Riddle uncomfortable.
After playing a few games, they moved on to rides, Yuu and Riddle held hands the entire time, but Riddle learned that he liked the thrill of the rides. “It reminded me of flying on a broom, or when I'm riding Vorpal.” Yuu laughed with Riddle, happy to see him so pumped up. “That was a lot of fun.”
Yuu looked around, as she listened to him, looking for their next activity. Her eyes caught a mirror maze, and thought this would be fun for the puzzle loving boy, since it’s close to one. “Hey how about we try that.” Yuu pointed to the small house. Riddle looked at it, before becoming excited, “Oh, I heard of these, but I was never able to go to one.” Yuu mentally high fived herself. “Well, let’s give it a try.” Yuu and Riddle walked to the small house.
As soon as they entered, they immediately became disoriented, seeing themselves, and different paths within the mirrors. “Oh my.” Riddle said, placing his hand out, but hesitating not wanting to put smug on the glass. “Riddle it’s fine, it's better than walking head first into them.” Yuu encourages, holding out her own hand, taking a careful step.
After a few bumps and stumbles, they found their way out, as Riddle told her the similarities with the mirrors to the story of the queen of hearts. How there would be odd mirrors in her land, and not a single normal one.
As the sun began to set, Riddle noticed the ferris wheel, “Would you like to ride the ferris wheel Yuu?” Yuu looked up at the sky, seeing that the sun was setting, “If that alright with you.” Riddle nodded with a smile.
As they waited in line, they looked through the photos they took together, but they both kept the photos they took of each other having fun to themselves. When it was their turn, Riddle held Yuu’s hand as she stepped on, then stepped in after her. Once they began moving, the couple's attention immediately went to sights, watching as they went up, stopping for a long minute so the people at the top could take in the view.
Riddle looked over at Yuu, and felt himself start to admire her, as the sun lightly hit her, and shined off her perfectly. Yuu looked at Riddle, catching him off guard, causing him to blush and look away, feeling embarrassed at being caught.
Yuu lightly giggled, finding Riddle's blushing face cute. Riddle couldn't help but smile as well, he took a breath before speaking up. “Thank you, for today. It was very delightful, and I quite enjoyed myself, as well as my time with you.” Riddle said, trying to keep his voice steady. He felt his heart pounding in his chest, as he laid his feelings out. “I never got the chance to do this sort of thing before. And I am really grateful to be doing it with you.” Yuu felt her heart start to beat rapidly.
Before she could respond, the ride stopped at the top, causing to look at the two towards the dun, setting over the hills. Yuu looked over at Riddle, seeing his curious expression as he looked at the view. She moved from her seat, to sit next to Riddle.
He jumped a bit, not expecting her to move, she placed their hands together, before looking at Riddle in the eyes. “Thank you for letting me be a part of this.” Riddle glanced at her lips, before moving back to her eyes. Yuu closed her eyes, letting Riddle move at his own pace. Riddle hesitated, before moving to her, and pressing his lips against hers.
It was a quick but sweet kiss, they moved away from each other, both smiling. Yuu then laid her head on his shoulder, Riddle looked at her for a moment before laying his head against hers.
I am sorry but I gotta brag, I only spent 2 ten holds on his sleeping wear, and the birthday jacket it got from my first one free summon! This has been a great day for me and my keys!
Leona's Birthday Date || Leona Kingscholar x F!Yuu (Reader)
Happy birthday to our sleepy prince!
@artsysophie7 and I were discussing about what Leona's Bonbonniere would be, and we got it wrong! So Wrong! But i really liked the idea we had made, so i wanted to write it out for our lovely lion.
I would love to do this for the rest of the boys, but I would need to spend a whole week just writing that, and nothing else, so for now.....Leona only!
Note: Fluff, kisses, cheesy.
Description:
Yuu wants to take Leona on a date for his birthday, and he reluctantly agrees, even though he would rather spend it with her alone in his room. Yuu plans the perfect day for him, and he actually enjoys it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Leona slept soundly in his bed, his arms wrapped around Yuu, keeping her close to him. Yuu snuggled into his chest, feeling very comfortable. However the peaceful moment was ruined by Leona's phone ringing. Leona peeked, his scared eyes opened, his ear twitching at the sound. He looked down and saw that he had Yuu trapped in his arms, if he moved he would wake her. He took a quick glance over his shoulder seeing that his phone was on the bed, so he just used his tail to turn it off.
Yuu let out a hum, feeling more relaxed now that the unwelcome noise was gone. Leona took in her scent, feeling sleepy once again, upon smelling her comforting scent. He closed his eyes, letting himself fall back to sleep, but he was stopped again when his phone rang once again.
Leona let out a low growl, flicking his tail against his phone again, turning it off, but it rang again. Yuu was now awake, seeing her boyfriends grumpy face, as he glared at his phone from over his shoulder. She moved, letting him know she was now awake. “Happy birthday.” She muttered, giving him a tired smile, “Thanks. He muttered out, “Answer, it won’t stop.” She muttered out, trying to sit up in order to reach for his phone. Leona closed his arms, but kept them around her.
Yuu grabbed his phone, reaching over him, when she picked it up, she saw that it was Leona's older brother calling. “Leona, it Cheka.” Yuu said, already knowing that it was really Leona's adorable nephew. Leona clicked his tongue, “Ignore it, put it to silent.” Leona ordered, but Yuu didn't listen, she paused, before leaning down to Leona's ear. “Leona, answer or I will.” Leona groaned into the pillow, before removing one of his arms, taking the phone.
Leona answered, sitting up, “What?” He asked, pushing yuu on the bed, so he could read his head on her chest. Yuu just smiled, and ran her fingers through his hair. “Happy birthday Unca!” Cheka's childish voice rang through the phone, “Too loud.” Leona said, moving the phone away from his face. “Oh sorry did I wake you?” Leona rolled his eyes, “Yes.” “Oh ok, sorry, I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday. So happy birthday!” Yuu bit back her laugh, at hearing Cheka's oblivious excitement.
“Thanks, bye.” Leona said, before hanging up the phone, and turning it off. Closing his eyes, fully resting his head on Yuu's chest. Yuu continued to run her fingers through his hair, being careful not to touch his ears.
But once again the peaceful scene was broken, now due to a knock on the door. “Leona, Yuu, I'm coming in.” Ruggie said, opening the door. But ruggies was met with a pillow thrown at his face. “Out.” Leona growled, not moving from his spot. Yuu looked at him confused, she never even saw his arm move, and yet the pillow went flying. Yuu gave a small greeting smile to Ruggie, who had a dumbfounded expression, due to the sudden attack. “This is the thanks I get for bringing you your birthday breakfast?” Ruggie asked, picking up the pillow, in his free hand, as the other hand was holding a bag field with Leona breakfast.
Leona sniffed the air, smelling what Ruggie brought, “Meat….” Leona muttered, but didn't move from his position. “Yuu I brought you something as well, since I know a certain someone would be pretty annoyed if I didn't." Ruggies chuckled, his eyes darting to Leona quickly. Ruggie moved out of the way when the second pillow came at him. “Leona!” Ruggie scolded, “You're loud this morning, thank you for the meal, now shoo.” “Thank you Ruggie, and don't worry about Leona today, I'll be with him today.” Ruggie smiled wide, “Sweet thanks Yuu, happy birthday boss.” Ruggie said, before heading out the door, an extra skip in his step.
Leona thought he could finally go back to sleep, but his very pillow betrayed him. Yuu moved, causing Leona to tighten his hold on her. “Don't you dare.” He warned, but Yuu knew it was an empty threat.
Yuu forced herself out of Leona's arms and bed, “Sorry birthday boy, but I don't want the food to get cold.” Yuu said, walking to the table where Ruggie left the bag. Leona watched her, as she took the food out of the bag. Getting it set on a proper plating. “Ok, here you are my prince.” Yuu teased, handing him his plate of food.
Leona sat up letting out a shameless yawn, his fangs fully showing. “Thank you.” He said, taking the plate from her. ‘Such a gentleman.’ Yuu thought to herself, as she began to eat her food as well.
When it had become later into the date, Yuu was finally able to convince Leona to get ready and to leave his room.
They walked down the street, hand in hand, Yuu was a bit chipper since she didn't tell Leona where she was taking him. Leona watched her, trying to hide the smirk he had from watching her. ‘She's more excited for my birthday than I am.’ Leona lightly squeezed her hand, making Yuu smile widened. “You're going to love this, I promise.” Leona smirked down at her, “If I don't you're going to pay for it.” Leona warned, Yuu just laughed in response, knowing that he will make her pay, but it wouldn't be bad.
“Ok here we are.” Yuu said, pointing to a beautifully carved blue door. “Hmm?” Leona looked up at the sign, “Belle of Pages.” Leona looked at Yuu, with a confused look. “It's a book store I found when me and Grim were wandering around, and I thought you would like this place too.” Leona opened the door for her, Yuu smiled saying a quick thank you to him as she went in.
Leona looked around, taking in the place. The smell of books hitting his nose, very silent chatter going on in the store, mostly people talking to the employees. “Hmm, not bad.” Leona muttered, placing a hand on Yuu's shoulder, “So which section do you think I'd like?” Leona whispered in her ear, sending a small shiver up her spine. “I uh…there's some history books and ancient incantations, in this section over here, I thought you'd like.” Yuu said, trying to hide her embarrassment, but her smug boyfriend already knew.
They explored the store for a bit, both finding books. Leona noticed that Yuu would take note of some then put them back, “You know I'm buying right?” Leona said, opening a book, looking at the context. “Huh?” Yuu said, looking confused. “I’m buying the books you pick out, so go wild.” Leona said, before placing the book in the small basket they picked up. Yuu was going to argue, but Leona already moved on, silently telling her that he wasn't going to budge.
Yuu smiled, taking the book she had placed back and walking closer to Leona, to place her book in the basket. They picked out a few more together, even finding a series they were both interested in, deciding to read it when they are together. After spending about an hour there, Yuu remembered another thing she wanted to show Leona.
“Hey, let's pay for these, there's one more thing I want to show you.” Leona raised a brow, but followed Yuu lead, paying for the books with his family’s card. “Thanks for the birthday gift.” Leona muttered smugly, liking how much it cost, thinking it as a way to get back at his brother. Yuu looked at him confused, “Leona?” Yuu asked, her head a bit tilted. “Let's see this other surprise you have?” Yuu nodded, smiling as she guided Leona by his hand to the other side of the store.
In a small section behind a shelf of books were a few tables set up, along with some couched, some tables were free but a couple had a few simple board games set up, mainly chess and checkers. “Found this area when Grim tried to sneak out of the store, but he went the wrong way.” Yuu lightly laughed, keeping her voice low, to not disturb the other customers. “So, you up for a game?” Yuu asked, giving Leona a teasing smile. Leona huffed out a laugh, smirking. “Don't cry if you lose.” Leona teased back.
After a few games, Yuu only ended up getting a tie, but she was sure that Leona just let it end in a tie. “Hmm.” She thought, hesitating to move the piece, trying to see if there is a trap she may have missed. Leona just looked at her, finding the concentrated look on her face to be cute. “Its your turn.” Leona teased, with a smug smile. “I know.” Yuu growled, deciding to move the piece. Leona looked down at the board and saw that he could win, but she could win if he didn't take that move. He looked at Yuu, seeing that she was watching him closely. ‘Sorry babe, but I love to win.’ Leona thought, moving the piece, putting her in checkmate. “Checkmate.” Leona muttered, watching Yuu expression drop. “Ah man.” She then smiled, “Hey I made it farther than before, good game.” She said, not a hint of bitterness in her voice.
Leona reached over, and took Yuu's hand, she looked up at him confused. “Lets go grab some lunch, I'm starving.” He held her hand as they stood up, using magic to lift the bags. “Sure, sounds good.” Yuu smiled, leaning closer to Leona’s side. “Wherever you want to go.” They walked out the front entrance.
They had a nice lunch as an all you could eat meat buff, Yuu and Leona enjoyed the food. Yuu looked over at Leona, and saw that he had his natural smile on his face. She matched it, feeling proud that Leona was enjoying himself. Yuu thought to take this chance to pull out the gift she had brought with her. “Leona.”
He looked up at her, she held out a fork that had a piece of meat on it. “You should try this, it's really juicy." Leona raised a brown, before smirking bite down on the fork, giving her a smug smirk. Yuu jumped, him pouncing on her to surprise her. “Heh.” He aligned, chewing the meat, “Taste good.” He said, running his thumb over his lips, removing the extra sauce.
After their quiet lunch, the couple returned to the dorm, planning to stay in and read for the rest of the day. Leona was in a very good mood, no one from their school showed up and interrupted them, they had great food, and a peaceful afternoon together. ‘I have to admit it, this has been a pretty good birthday.’ Leona moved his hand away from Yuu’s so he could wrap his arm around her waist, guiding her as they walked.
Yuu's face became a bit flustered, she refused to look at Leona, knowing that he would give her that smug smirk he had when he made her shy. But it was too late for that, Leona already knew that his partner was acting shy, and he took great pride in being the cause.
Leona opened the door for Yuu, letting her walk into his room first. Leona closed the door behind him and immediately laid down on his bed, Yuu bit back a laugh, seeing Leona crash onto his bed. “Hang on Leona, before you go to sleep.” Leona peeked his eyes open, seeing that Yuu was standing near his head, holding out a small box. “Happy birthday.” Yuu smiled, holding the gift towards him.
Leone raised his brow, “You didn't need to get me anything.” Leona muttered, taking the box. “Thank you.” He said, opening the small box up. “Hmm?” Inside the box was another book. “Wait, how did you do?” Leona sat up, surprised after reading the title. “Yep, it's a rare ancient incantation book, there isn’t a lot of these around, but Sam helped me find it.” Yuu said, very happy with Leona’s reaction. ‘Grim won't be getting tuna for a while, but it was worth it.’ Yuu thought to herself, not letting Leona know how much this cost her.
Leona opened it, and saw that she was right, he had never seen this type of writing before, and the pages felt old. Leona closed the book, placing it on the bed, looking at Yuu, with a real gentle smile. “Thank you Yuu.” Yuu tried to bite back her excitement, but her goofy smile couldn't stop. Leona rolled his eyes, at Yuu's reaction, before pulling her down to the bed with him. “Ok, no more talk, sleep.” Yuu laughed against his chest, “As you wish for my king.” Yuu closed her eyes.
Leona's ears twitched, liking the way she called him her king. He tightened his hold, closing his eyes as well. “Sleep….my queen.” Leona let himself drift off to sleep.

Happy Birthday Leona Kingscholar, can't wait for your season!
‼️REGARDING THE “TWST ANIME LEAK” THAT HAS TAKEN OVER SOCIAL MEDIA!!‼️
As many of you know, this post of a “leaker” claiming that the Twisted Wonderland Episode of Savanaclaw will release this year in December has NOT been proven true. I understand why many are quick to believe this as they are excited, they’re hopeful, however there’s no REAL SOURCE.
Disney nor TWST JP has made an official statement regarding an official release yet, claiming this information is correct is false. The individual in question, the leaker, uses the excuse of “it’s real, check my bio!” as evidence enough to justify their claims that TWST’s season 2 will be in December.
Unless an official statement is released by Disney do NOT believe it, this has already made so many people say things like “finally the wait is over!” and “I can’t wait for the trailer to release tomorrow!” as well as other showings of excitement.
This whole situation has caused quite the disruption in the fandom, many have already began to celebrate what’s not even present, what has yet to exist.
What we know is this…
The TWST anime’s music director has already confirmed in a post a while ago that the music is complete/near complete.
It’s already speculated that the anime is finished/starting to be voiced- we have no definitive proof of this but judging by the time frame of the anime’s timeframe of trailers and news drops- this would be the somewhat near placement for an OFFICIAL Statement from Disney.
There has been NO NEWS from insiders at Disney/Disney JP, NO VOICE ACTORS DONT COUNT AS THEY HAVE LIKELY YET TO BEGIN THEIR WORK FOR THE PROJECT!! However, D23 is coming in August and there WILL be a panel for Disney+ as there has been multiple times in the past- this COULD be the spot for news! They DID, if I’m not mistaken, give information for TWST’s anime last D23- no trailer but they gave news saying it’s coming soon. I’ll need to double check that ofc so bear with me here-
As of now we also know that in the time of the conclusion with the Heartslabyul arc in a post we have an announcement from TWST saying 2026-27 range, HOWEVER!!!! We don’t know WHEN that is. December sounds right BUT!!!! It can also be subject to change! THIS CAN ALSO MEAN JANUARY OR FEBRUARY as we all know dates are subject to change given production schedules and potential time constraints- it happens often. There is a schedule BUT!!! Unless we see more OFFICIAL NEWS we cannot outright claim it’s real.
Once more, do not participate in the spread of potential misinformation on the anime, unless you see ACTUAL PROOF from the ORIGINAL SOURCE (TWST/Disney) it’s likely a fake claim.
Probably not the news you folks wanted to hear but sometimes being delulu isn’t the solulu… JUST SAYING!!! There’s always hot anime men and women that can be your delulu solulu but fake leaks without definitive evidence is not the way to go…
Remember, don’t be a jerk, if someone is trying to make a claim like this without evidence just give them a polite heads up. Okay? Can’t be too hard. Hopefully…
ANYWAY!!!! TODAY IS LEONA’S BIRTHDAY SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEONA!!! 🦁
Description: Yuu and the group involved with the overblots stood in front of Crowley, who had just let something slip, that he was keeping secret, which leads Yuu mind to break.
Notes: Yuu is reader, Yuu is refused to as they, Heavy angst! a bit graphic with the blot.
None of this is cannon or anything, this is a scene idea I had about my own Yuu overblot and thought to write it for just regular Yuu.
-------------------
Yuu stared at Crowley, with a devastating look. “You brought me here on purpose?” Crowley looked around, but no one was going to let him escape this conversation. “Why? To clean up your mess? To do your job?” Yuu's voice rose, getting more angry with each question. “No no, you see, I have heard so much about your world-” Crowley stops realizing that he made another mistake.
Yuu's face dropped, looking baffled, “You know about my world? You knew this entire time!” Yuu felt her eyes begin to water, from the anger they were feeling. “Ack-now Yuu calm down.” Crowley said, giving a nervous smile.
Yuu looked down, asking their next question, “Can I return home?” They asked, their voice softer than before. Croley didn't say anything which angered Yuu more, leading them to ask louder, “Can I return home?” Crowley let out a breath, looking guilty, “No, when I brought you here I separated your soul from your world, this isn't your original body, I just made a replica for you to exist in this world.”
Yuu felt as if a brick had dropped in their stomach. “So I'm dead in my world?” Yuu asked to clarify the meaning behind Crowley's words. “Yes.” Crowley said, gripping onto his staff.
You could hear a pin drop, the college boys standing around her, looking baffled at the news they had just heard, about the magicless human they had grown close with. “Yuu…” Deuce said, clear sadness in his voice, as Ace clutched his jaw shut.
“Hehe….” Yuu let out a soft laugh, before it intensified, “Hahahahhahahhhhaa.” They started laughing louder, tears rolling down their face, as they brought their face up. “Yuu?” Epel called out in concern, seeing his friend fall apart. “This entire time.” They said between their laughs, tears flowing down their cheeks. “I held onto the little hope I could go home, I even wished that I would be able to come back here as well!” Yuu grabbed their stomachs, whether out of comfort or laughter, they didn't even know.
“Everything was for nothing!” Yuu said, calming down, still smiling looking at her friends. “All that work!” Their tears came down harder. “I worked hard in my world, everything I did, poof gone, meaningless now!” Yuu laughed, tears falling faster down their face. “Yuu…” Jack called out, trying to take a step to them, but Leona stopped him. “Don’t.” He ordered his underclassmen.
“Yuu, please understand.” Crowley tried again, but stopped when he saw that Yuu’s tears were now black ink. “Shut up!” Yuu yelled, their voice echoing. “Just shut up, you piece of sh%%, I’m done, I'm not listening to you anymore!” the blot surrounding Yuu began to worsen. “Yuu! Please listen!” Epel called out, but his voice fell deaf to the prefect. “No one gets it, and no one cares.” Yuu muttered to themselves, over and over, their throat becoming dry. “I don't care….”
Yuu fell to their knees, grabbing their head…. “I’m done with all of you!” A large amount of blot surrounded Yuu, not letting them hear their friends call for them.
