FIRST YEARS + SILVER X READER
Where you hide when the housewarden almost catches you in his room
I'm sorry but I couldn't do anything about the housewarden's jealousy, hope u like it anyways!
You really should’ve said no.
Should’ve gone back to Ramshackle like a responsible prefect. Should’ve listened to Grim’s grumbling and gone to bed at a normal hour.
Haha no.
You let Ace smirk at you with that shit eating grin, throw his arm over your shoulder, and mutter “C’mon, just for tonight. I’ll make it fun~”
Now you’re under Ace's bed.
Like. Literally under. With your knees cramped up to your chest and your nose pressed against a suspicious sock, and Ace is sitting up top, fake-snoring so loud you’re gonna scream.
Riddle’s voice floats in from the hallway. “Lights off, Ace. And if I catch you playing games at this hour again—”
Ace cuts him off, all chipper: “No games, housewarden! Just sleeping like a good little rosebud~”
You nearly wheeze. This clown.
There’s a long silence. Then, finally, the sound of retreating footsteps. You hear Deuce mutter, “You’re gonna get us all killed,” and Ace grins.
Once the coast is clear, Ace throws his blanket off and hops down to crouch beside you.
“Hey, babe,” he whispers. “Still alive down there?”
You swat at his arm. “I’m gonna kill you.”“I love when you talk dirty.”“ACE.”
He laughs and pulls you out from under the bed. And honestly? You’re pissed, you’re disheveled, but the way he beams at you when you’re safe in his bed again, curled up against his side?
…You’d do it all over again.
So listen.
This was your idea.
Epel’s whole room smells like apple shampoo and you thought hey, a little snuggle time with my farm boy bf wouldn’t hurt anyone!
Wrong.
Because Vil just so happened to come back early from his late-night spa treatment and you two were in the middle of a cuddle so aggressive it could be labeled a wrestling match. You rolled on top of each other, grabbed each other's wrists, played to see who could give the most kisses while you put your hands on each other's faces, laughing, and tangled up.
"GET IN THE CLOSET," Epel whispers, scrambling to throw a blanket over the scene of the crime.
"But—!""THE. CLOSET."
You slam the door shut just as Vil glides in, expression sharp.
“Epel. What is this? Your bed looks like it’s been ravaged by a particularly vicious boar.”
“Heheh. I toss and turn a lot?”
Vil’s eyes narrow.
He begins straightening Epel’s bed, tutting at the state of it, one step away from opening the closet.
You’re inside holding your breath and gripping Epel’s hoodie. Through the crack in the door, you can see Vil’s manicured fingers reaching for the handle.
Death is nigh. Life flashes before your eyes.
But then—
“WAIT!” Epel blurts out. “Don’t open that!”
Vil pauses. Slowly turns.
“…Why not?”
“Because,” Epel says, brain lagging, “I have Neige LeBlanche posters that Rook gave me there."
Silence.
“Excuse me?”“He said he wanted me to observe the real beauty and he had so many posters...’”
“…”
Vil pinches the bridge of his nose, mutters something about freakish weirdos and leaves.
You tumble out five seconds later, gasping. Epel helps you up looking proud and horrified at the same time.
“That was the worst thing I’ve ever said.”
“You’re so messed up.”
You both cackle like lunatics into the night.
Silver is… a problem.
Not because he doesn’t want you there. No, Silver loves having you around. It’s just—
He forgot. Literally.
You’re waking up in his bed, tangled in the sheets, and Silver blinks awake next to you looking around like he just respawned.
“Yuu...?” he mumbles, voice still sleepy. “Did we… did I…”“You invited me over last night.”
“I did?”
“You said ‘the moon’s lonely tonight. Come warm me up.’ It was poetic and kinda hot.”
“Oh. I do remember that.”
He curls back into you like a sleepy kitten, arms around your waist. You start dozing off again—until a very distinctive knock rattles the door.
Lilia.
"Oh no. I forgot he’s on patrol.”
You scramble to hide under the covers while Silver stumbles to the door. Lilia peeks inside smile already too knowing.
“Morning, my little dreamer. Sleep well?”
“Yeah.”
“Alone?”
“...Yes.”
Lilia’s eyes flick to the suspiciously lumpy bed. He says nothing. He simply nods.
“Tell Yuu under the sheets I said hi,” he says, and disappears into the hallway.
Silver turns to you under the blankets.
“I’m never going to survive him.”
You peek out and kiss his nose. “He ships us.”“I know. That’s what scares me.”
You both fall back into the bed again, resigned to your fate.
Jack is the worst at sneaking you in.
He’s too tall and too honest, and WAY too nervous. He acts guilty before you even do anything.
Tonight’s no different.
You’re in his room, cozy in his oversized hoodie (it’s so soft help), both of you curled up together on the floor with a blanket and your legs tangled. The dorm is mostly asleep, and Jack is doing his best to stay calm.
And then… the doorknob rattles.
Jack’s ears go straight up. He stands like he’s been electrocuted, grabs the blanket, and throws it over your head like that’s going to make you disappear.
“Jack. Why’s your door locked?”
“Just—! Working out!”
“…At midnight?”
“UH. YEAH.”
You nearly choke trying not to laugh under the blanket. You feel Jack’s foot nudge you, a silent pls don’t expose me tap.
Leona finally walks away, yawning and muttering something about hormonal teenagers and their dumb secrets.
Once he’s gone, Jack collapses beside you, covering his face with both hands.
“I hate lying. I’m gonna get grey fur from this.”
You kiss his cheek. “You’re lucky you’re cute.”“You’re lucky I love you.”
“Aw~ you love me?”
“Shut up.”
You fall asleep that night wrapped in a burrito, safe in his arms, and even if he complains the next morning, the way he keeps sneaking glances at you says he’d risk it again in a heartbeat.
Now Sebek tries to be stealthy.
Tries really hard. Puts up his walls and declares he will not succumb to such foolish disobedience! But he already has. Because you’re in his room.
Curled up in his bed. Wearing his oversized shirt.
It’s a disaster.
It’s wonderful.
Malleus has NO IDEA.
Which, honestly? Makes Sebek more anxious than fighting blindfolded.
You, meanwhile, are delighted.
“Babe. Youre nervous.”
“THAT IS A LIE.”
“Your voice is louder than-.”
“THEN PERHAPS YOU SHOULD—"
You clamp a hand over his mouth and hiss, “Shhh!”
Cue dramatic pacing. Cue Sebek swearing on his honor that if the Young Master walks in, you are to jump out the window and never look back.
Of course that’s when the knock comes.
“Sebek. I sensed unrest. Is everything alright?”
“YOUNG MASTER! I—ALL IS WELL. DO NOT WORRY YOUR—YOUR HEAD.”
You literally stuffing your face into the pillows to keep from laughing
Malleus, meanwhile, raises an eyebrow outside the door. He can feel another presence. One that makes Sebek’s aura thrum with warmth.
He’s quiet. Then speaks.
“…Be careful, Sebek.”
And walks away.
Sebek freezes.
You peek up at him. “He knows, doesn’t he.”“I AM DOOMED, HUMAN.”
You snort and wrap your arms around him anyway.
Doomed or not this is your favorite place to be.
So Deuce was totally against this at first.
“Yuu, what if we get caught?” he’d whispered sweating. “I’m still on thin ice with Riddle! I can’t get another demerit—I’ll die.”
And like. Yeah. Fair.
But also? You pouted. You tugged on his sleeve. You gave him the eyes.
What was he supposed to do, say no??
So here you are, tucked into Deuce’s bed, while he lies on top of the blanket next to you, eyes darting to the door every time the floor creaks.
And of course. OF COURSE.
Riddle knocks.
“Spade. I’m conducting a room inspection.”
Your souls leave your bodies.
Deuce leaps up, whisper-yelling “HIDE!” and you barely dive into the tiny closet before the door opens. You nearly trip over his boots, clutching his uniform jacket, heart hammering so loud you’re sure Riddle can hear it.
Meanwhile, Deuce is doing his best impression: standing at attention, sweating bullets, and praying Riddle doesn’t notice the two cups on his nightstand.
“Why are there two cups?” “Hydration, sir. I get double-thirsty.”
Riddle suspiciously squint. You choke silently on a laugh
Miraculously Riddle moves on. After what feels like three years and a full background check he finally leaves.
Deuce sprints to the closet, throws the door open, and you fall into his arms like a ragdoll.
“I hate this,” he wheezes. “I hate how much I love this.”“So… tomorrow night too?”
“ABSOLUTELY NOT.” (you’ll be back tomorrow night.)

Floyd
Now Floyd wanted to try something exciting, with a lot of options. However, he was not fully used to the summer heat yet, being in the sun the entire time made him feel a bit dried out, so Yuu made a suggestion that had fit his criteria. A water park.
Yuu and Floyd's walked through the entrance, a bag over their shoulders. Floyd had taken her bag at first, but as they walked, he got tired of carrying it. Yuu didn't mind, she still didn't have to carry it the whole way.
Floyd paused at the entrance, before his face lit up, water splashing everywhere, kids yelling, people cheering as they went down rides. Everywhere he looked something different was happening. “Aw yeah! This looks like a blast!” Floyd said his smile wide, his head moving around, taking in everything. Yuu laughed at her boyfriend's behavior, “By the way, I was able to strike something with Sam, so we have a fast pass.” Floyd looked at her with a smirk, “So that means we don't have to wait in the lines?” Yuu nodded, Floyd picked her up suddenly, making her drop her bag to the ground. “You’re the best shrimpy!” Yuu faced scrunched as Floyd hugged her tighter. “Floyd can't breathe.” Yuu squeaked out, but Floyd still squeezed her, before placing her down after another minute.
“Which ride should we ride first, hey lets go with this one!” Floyd said, starting to drag Yuu off, but she stopped him, “Hang on Floyd, we need to go place our stuff down and change.” Yuu said, planting her feet to the ground, trying to fight against her strong boyfriend. Floyd stopped, seeing the reason behind her words. “Ok, where do we go?” He asked, looking at Yuu. She reached into her pocket, and took out the map. “Let's see.”
After finding a spot to reserve for them, they placed their items in a locker, and their towels upon some chairs as they changed. Floyd finished first, wearing swim shoes and an open shirt, and some sandals. He looked around, seeing kids run by, and he couldn't help but smile at the fin they were having, always feeding off the mood around him. “Hey sorry, most of the stalls were taken.” Yuu said, stepping out of the women's dressing room.
Floyd looked up and paused, he had never seen his little shrimpy in such revealing clothing. “Whoa.” Floyd said, the tips of his ears turning a bit red. “You look good, shrimpy.” Floyd got closer to her, staring her down with a hungry look in his eyes. “So good I wanna take a bite.” He smirked, shoving his sharp teeth. Yuu looked cautious, not knowing if he was being serious or joking, with Floyd it could be the latter. Floyd moved, so his left arm is wrapped around her, pulling her close to his side. “Alright can we go now?” Floyd said before walking.
Yuu and Floyd walked around, Floyd wanting to go on every ride, but couldn't decide which one to go on first. “How about that one?” Yuu pointed out one, Floyd looked at it, and his smile became wide. “Aw yeah awesome choice shrimpy.” Floyd dragged Yuu to the ride she just pointed out. After showing their wrist bands, they got to get on the slide much faster than the other people in line. Yuu gave an apologetic look to all the people Floyd shamelessly dragged her in front of, wearing a smile on his face being excited.
When it was their turn, Floyd sat in the back, as Yuu sat in the front of the slide. Floyd wrapped his arms around her waist, holding her closer to him. “Alright, have fun.” The worker said, before pushing them down the slide.
Yuu let out a light scream, by going so fast, as the water splashed on her face. Floyd cheered, keeping one arm on Yuu, while the other flew back free. Once they reached the bottom, and got splashed with a larger wave of water. They got off the small float, letting it get taken by a worker, as they swam to the shallow area.
“Let's do another one!” Floyd said, walking to the concrete again, his hair dripping wet. Yuu pushed the hair that was sticking to her face out of the way, “Sure, you pick.” She said, as she fixed herself. Floyd looked around, but stopped when he heard something unpleasant. “Hey you see that cutie over there.” Floyd glanced at the two other college students, who were eyeing his shrimpy. “Wonder if she’s here with anybody.” Floyd now believed they were stupid, it was obvious that the two of them were together.
But Floyd decided to make the answer very clear for them.
Floyd pulled yuu to him, pressing her against him, “Ah Floyd." Yuu said in surprise, her face heating up. “I caught myself a shrimp.” Floyd teased, leaning down to Yuu face, their mouths an inch away from each other. “F-Floyd.” Yuu whispered quietly, looking shy. Floyd held her face, and kissed her, while Yuu closed her eyes, Floyd kept his eyes open, making eye contact with the two guys, who looked baffled.
Floyd moved away, before picking Yuu up, and tossing her over his shoulder. “Floyd!” Yuu said loudly, before covering her mouth, clearly not expecting her voice to be that loud. “Let's go shrimpy!” Floyd said before marching off to another ride.
After a few more rides, Floyd got bored and wanted to go to the separate pool. As they swam together, Floyd decided to pull a few pranks on a few people. It didn't help that Floyd can breathe under water, even in human form. Yuu was swimming around, looking for Floyd, but she didn’t see him. It wasn’t until she was lifted into the air, she realized too late where he was, “Ah! Floyd!” Yuu yelled, as she got tossed onto his shoulder. “Caught a shrimpy!” Floyd smiled, water falling down his face. Yuu just rolled her eyes, messing up Floyd's hair as pay back.
Yeah this will be an interesting summer.
Deuce invited Yuu to stay with him and his mom for the break, after making a deal for Ace to take Grim for the summer. Deuce wanted to spend the summer with Yuu, without interruptions. Yuu was worried about Grim and missed him, but she was also enjoying the time away from him, not having to worry about watching his every move.
Yuu was helping Dylla, in the kitchen, while Deuce was looking through a small map of his small town. “This would be a good ride, but would it be too bumpy for her?” Deuce muttered to himself, “Deuce?” His mother called out, making the boy jump. He hid the map behind his back, turning his attention to her. “Y-yes mom, what's up?” Deuce asked, acting nervous. Dylla raised a brow at her son. “Deuce, what are you hiding?" Deuce tightened his grip on the paper, “It's nothing, did you need help?” Deuce had hoped to change the subject, but his mother wasn't letting it go so easily.
“Deuce.” Dylla said more sternly, making Deuce freeze up. “...Ok, I was trying to decide where to take Yuu for a date.” Deuce reveals the map that he was hiding, hanging it over to his mom. Whose expression was now lit up with joy, “Awe honey.” Deuce felt his cheeks heat up, "I wanted to take her for a ride, and was trying to find a good spot, where she would enjoy.” Dylla looked at the map, before getting an idea. “How about taking her through the hills that lead to Curious Hare, you always liked that place.”
Deuce thought for a moment, before lighting up, “That's a great idea mom, she would love that.” “Who would love what?” Yuu asked, walking into the living room, cleaning off her hands, looking at the mother and son. They both jumped, sharing the same panic expression. Yuu looked at them confused, as well as trying not to laugh at the clear resemblance between the two.
“Nothing.” They both answered, at the same time, looking at yuu with an awkward smile. Yuu could tell that Dylla was hiding something behind her back. “Alright, Mrs.Spade, I finished with the eggs.” Yuu said, deciding not to comment on the two’s suspicious actions. “Oh yes, thank you, and like I said, you can just call me Dylla.” Dylla said, quickly moving Yuu back to the kitchen, “Can you please get two cups of water ready for me, I'll come help in a minute.” Yuu smiled, a bit confused. “Ok.” she said, giving a quick glance to Deuce who is smiling awkwardly, before walking back into the kitchen.
Dylla and Deuce let out a breath of relief, that she didn't question anything. Dylla turned back towards Deuce, “Deuce, do you need any money for the trip or?” Deuce immediately stopped his mom, “No I'm fine, I was able to earn some by helping around school.” Deuce would rather beg for money from a monkey then ask his mom to give him some of her hard earned extra cash. “Ok, if you're sure, but come to me if you run into a problem.” Dylla reassured, before going back into the kitchen to help Yuu.
Deuce looked back at the map, his mother had handed him. He smiled, thinking of the day he had planned for him and Yuu.
Two days later, Dylla helped Yuu pick an outfit, since Yuu didn't know about what the date intel, all she was told was there was a date. So Dylla got her into baggy blue jeans, with a light blue tank top, with some walking shoes. Yuu liked it, it was casual and comfortable, and it was really nice where they lived, so she didn't have to worry about being too hot out in the sun.
Yuu looked around, as she waited on the side of the road. Her attention was drawn to the sound of an engine coming close to her. She looked to her left to see a motor bike coming close to her, until it stopped in front of her. She smiled when the rider took off the helmet, showing that it is her boyfriend. “Looking cool Deuce.” Yuu teased, Deuce smiled bashfully. “Would you like to go for a ride?” Deuce asked, holding out another helmet for her.
Yuu's smile widened, taking the helmet from Deuce. He smiled in relief, happy she accepted to ride with him. “Trusting you here Deuce.” Yuu teased, before placing the helmet on. Deuce looked at her proudly, "I promise to keep you safe." Yuu laughed from underneath the helmet, before getting on the bike with Deuces’ help.
Once Yuu was secured, and Deuce instructed her to either hold on to him or the bike, Yuu had chosen to hold onto Deuce, not wanting to lean back. Once they were both in a comfortable position, they took off down the road.
The ride was fast but smooth, Deuce made it a fun ride. Yuu was able to look around, and take in the scenery, seeing the hills, lakes, and other parts of the town. Yuu saw that everyone was happily spending time with their families, friends and partners. Yuu liked Deuce's small town, everyone seemed friendly, and it was peaceful, well at least as far as she could tell.
After a quiet, fun ride, they arrived at a small parlor, called Curious Hare. Yuu looked at the place, seeing mostly family and couples around, all carrying ice creams. “Ice cream?” Yuu asked out loud, Deuce nodded, turning off the bike. “Yeah.” He helped Yuu off, before also getting off. They both removed the helmets and placed them onto the bike.
“Me and mom come here every summer, it's our way of kicking off the summer.” Deuce explained with a warm smile, “It’s an ice cream parlor based around the brown hare, from the legend of the queen of hearts. He would attend every tea party, and create odd but delicious items.” Yuu thought for a moment, looking up at the sign, “So I’m guessing the ice cream flavors are going to be a bit…mad?” Yuu smirked, looking over at Deuce. He nodded, laughing a bit, "Exactly.” He and Yuu joined hands, before walking into the small building.
The door chimed, as they walked through, Yuu took a look around, taking in the parlor. It was colorful, and brown rabbits that looked like they were made of chocolates were placed upon the walls. “Awe, this is cute.” Yuu complimented, Deuce smiled at Yuu's reaction, pleased to see that she likes the place.
They stepped up and ordered what they wanted, although Yuu did hesitate, with the names not really giving much away on what was really in the ice cream. But Deuce told her it was part of the fun, and that she can ask if she had any allergy concerns.
Deuce got the Deck of cards bowl, while Yuu got the Cheshire mist. Yuu looked down at the ice cream silently trying to guess what it was, it was a mix of purple and blue, with some brown swirls within it, ‘That has to be chocolate, but what's the rest?’ Yuu thought to herself. Her and Deuce went to sit outside, under an umbrella shaded table. Deuce pulled the seat out for Yuu to sit, before taking his seat next to her.
Deuce ate his happily, before seeing Yuu still questionably look at her ice cream. “It's not going to bite.” Deuce teased, Yuu gave him a ‘Yeah no kidding’ look, before deciding to just take a bite of the ice cream.
Yuu hummed in a surprised delight, enjoying the mix of the flavor, while she still couldn't quite tell what it was, she enjoyed the flavor that came from it. “This is really good.” Yuu said, before taking another bite. Deuce lightly laughs at her reaction, and continues to eat himself. Yuu holds out her spoon, with a scoop from her ice cream towards him.
“Here, try it.” Deuce became a bit flustered, ‘Ok, no big deal, just act natural.’ He tried to silently encourage himself. He took a bite, letting Yuu feed him, a hint of pink crossing his cheeks. Yuu chirped happily, “Isn't it good?” She asked, Deuce couldn't bring himself to meet her eyes, he just nodded in agreement.
Deuce poked at his ice cream, before getting the determination to share his ice cream with her. He scooped it up, and held it out to Yuu, who smiled at deuces shy expression. “H-Here you should try some of…..this…” He stuttered out, trying to not lose his composure. Yuu happily took a bite, taking the ice cream from the spoon.
“That’s better than mine.” Yuu said, after savoring the taste. “Yeah, I always get this when I come here, ever since I tried it, I couldn't stop getting it.” Deuce smiled, remembering all the summers he and Dylla would get the same flavor together.
As they finished their ice cream, Deuce noticed that the sun was setting. “Oh, there's one more place I want to take you before we head back.” Deuce said eagerly, Yuu was confused by the sudden excitement coming from him. “Ok, let's see what you got as an honor student.” Deuce blushed at that, feeling his heart skip a beat from the title. “Yuu.” He muttered shyly. Yuu giggled, getting up from her seat.
Once they were both on the bike, they took off. Yuu held on a bit tighter, due to Deuce going a bit faster than before, he wanted to get to the spot quickly before the sun set. Doing tight turns, and high jumps, Yuu ended up letting out a few yelps as they hit the air.
When they came to a stop, Yuu refused to let go of Deuce, feeling her adrenaline calm down a bit. Yuu let out a laugh that was muffled by the helmet, she slowly got off the bite, Deuce keeping her steady. “Sorry, I forgot that you aren't used to a magic cycle.” Deuce said, looking at her with concern. “It's fine, it was fun, I just need to stay still for a moment.” Yuu assured Deuce, her legs feeling a bit shaky from coming down from the massive speed.
Deuce and Yuu walked up the hill, hand in hand. “Hang on, we're almost there.” Deuce assured, as they walked. Once they reached the top, deuce smiled in delight, pulling Yuu towards the end of the hill, “Look.” Yuu straight, and her eyes slightly widen in amaze.
The view was breathtaking, the different colors in the sky, as the sun set over the distant hills. “Whoa.” Yuu breathed out, taking in the view. Yuu turned his head to look at deuce, but saw that he was no longer by her side. “Deuce?” Yuu called, turning around, and was taken by surprise, seeing deuce behind her holding a bouquet of flowers.
Yuu felt her face become flush, “Ah Deuce..” Yuu said more shyly. Deuce had a goofy smile on his face, looking shy himself. “I uh, got you these, because…I wanted to thank you for coming with me today, and for staying with me for the summer.” Deuce stuttered out. Yuu tried to control the goofy smile that was edging upon her face.
Yuu came closer to him, taking the flowers, “Thank you Deuce.” Yuu said, before planting a quick kiss on his cheek. Deuce let out a shy laugh, before tripping over his own feet, sending both him and Yuu down.
They both caught themselves, both sitting next to each other, they looked into each other's eyes, before sharing a laugh. Laying fully down in the grass together, looking at the sky as clouds pass by. Their hands found each other, giving each other a light squeeze.
This summer will be great.
Ace didn't want Yuu to stay alone during the summer, so he struck a deal with deuce. Grim goes with Deuce and Yuu goes with Ace. it didn't go that smoothly, but it ended up working in Ace’s favor.
Ace had a great date idea, but there was something stopping him…. Ace had done his best to keep Yuu from his older brother, but he needed a ride. “Ok, how much will it pay you to be silent?” Ace asked his older brother, who was looking down at him with a cheeky smile. “Hmm?” his brother acted as if he was thinking, “Try, 20 thumbmarks.” Ace’s older brother answered, Ace groaned, before pulling out his wallet. “Fine. Here.” Ace handed him the thumbmarks.
His brother opened his mouth, “Nope didn't work, try again.” Ace clenched his fist, feeling frustrated with the man in front of him. “Ace?” Yuu called out, walking out with her bag, and her summer clothing, which is just a beach dress over her swin suit.
Ace turned around, acting cool in front of her. “Are we ready to go?” She asked, looking between the two Trappola’s. “Yep, hop right in.” Ace's brother said, looking cheery. “Ok, great, thanks for giving us a ride.” Yuu smiled at Ace's older brother. Yuu got into the back seat, as Ace gave her an awkward forced smile.
As soon as the door shut, Ace glared at his brother. “Not a word about…you know what.” Ace remembered, before going to the front seat, looking back at Yuu, who gave him a confused look. She could tell something was off with him, but knew he wasn't going to share voluntarily.
Ace’s brother hopped into the driver seat, giving a glance to both his younger brother and the girl in the back seat. “Alright lets go.” With that they drove off to the beach.
As they drove, they listened to music. Ace's brother asked Yuu some questions, which Ace would side eye him each time he did. Yuu enjoyed getting to know Ace’s brother as well, also enjoying hearing stories about her boyfriend. Ace looked away embarrassed, not saying anything but staring out the window.
Ace only perked up when he saw the beach within view, “Hey Yuu check it.” Yuu looked out the window and saw the beach, filled with people, having fun, “Whoa, this is bigger than the one one sage island.” Yuu said in amaze. Ace grinned, feeling proud with the beach he chose. His brother noticed his smug expression, but chose not to comment on it yet.
Once they pulled into the beach, Ace hopped out of the car, waiting for Yuu to open hers. She hopped out of her, looking at Ace, who now had his back to her. ‘Huh…’ She thought to herself, wondering why he was acting off. “Ace?” Yuu called out to him, and he turned to her, wearing a fake smile.
“Let’s go.” Ace said holding his hand out to her, Yuu felt more at ease with that and took his hand. Ace and his brother talked as they walked closer to the beach, trying to find a spot, “Oh how about over there?” Yuu pointed out a low hanging tree, near the water, but the waves were not reaching it. “Oh yeah, great find.” Ace said, looking more pumped than before. He immediately dragged yuu with him, as they quickly made their way over to the spot. His brother decided to lag behind a bit, giving the couple a minute.
Ace and Yuu, place their bags down, laying down the extra towels they had brought, as they waited for Ace's brother, who was carrying the chairs. Yuu looked over at her boyfriend, giving him a teasing glance, “So, your brother is cool.” Ace scratched the back of his head, “Heha yeah, I guess.” Ace then looked down at the sand, not knowing what to say.
Yuu noticed the awkward air surrounding him, “Hey we should put on some sun block, before we stay in the sun for too long.” Ace immediately snapped out of his small daze, “Yeah your right, I burn easy, and it sucks taking care of it.” Ace chuckled, as the sound of footsteps came closer to the couple. “It's true, he fell asleep once, and spent the entire day sitting in an ice bath.” His brother chuckled at the memory.
Ace's face became a bit flushed, “Yeah, at least I can tell the difference between a cat and a skunk.” Yuu looked over at his brother, who chuckled, “Fair.” He said, as he sat the chairs down, and began to set them up. “Oh here let me help.” Yuu said, taking the extra chairs, and placing them. “Thanks.” Ace looked through the bag, taking out a few more items.
After getting everything set up, the small group started discussing what to do. “Well I'm going to work on my tan, how about you both go for a swim.” Ace’s brother said, as he placed the sun screen on himself.
Ace looked over at Yuu, she looked back at him, both sharing a silent look, asking if they wanted to. “Yeah why not.” Ace said, removing his shirt, and sun glasses. Yuu removed her beach dress, showing off her bathing suit.
Ace's face flushed, so much so you could almost mistake him for Riddle. He didn’t notice that he was gawking, until his eyes met with Yuu’s. “Eyes are up here Ace.” Yuu teased, making Ace blush more. “Ugh, oh come off.” Ace looked away embarrassed. “Heheh Yuu, look nice yourself.” Yuu teased, reaching for the sun screen.
They both began rubbing it on their skin, before it came time for their backs. Yuu did aces no problem, ace even teased her while she was doing it, causing Yuu to slightly blush.
However when it came to Yuu’s back. Ace held his hands a bit away from Yuu's skin, not knowing what is safe to touch, Yuu sat there leaning forward, waiting for Ace to start. “If you want I can do it if you're too shy.” His brother teased, and Ace shot him a look. “I got it.”
“Then do it.” Yuu said, from her hunched over state, getting tired of waiting. “Ok bossy.” Ace said, no longer feeling embarrassed, placing the sun screen on her back, with frustration. “Ace!” Yuu scolded, making Ace realize what he was doing, “Ah my bad, forgot how sensitive you are.” Ace joked, applying more sun screen.
Once they were finally done, they hit the shed. Well that was the plan, but…. “Oh, it's cold!” The couple said together, stepping out for the water, letting the sun hit their now cold skin.
“Ok, it’s best to get it over with.” Ace said, staring at the water as if it were a challenge. “True, but it does not make it easier.” Yuu retorted. Ace glared at her, she looked back at him confused, “What?” Ace rolled his eyes, “Oh!” Ace said suddenly, “I have an idea.”
Yuu looked at him confused, Ace walked closer to Yuu, and picked her up, throwing her over his shoulder. “ACE!” She yelled in surprise, and began to lightly hit his back. “Put me down!” Ace just laughs, and walks to the ocean. “Ace don't you dare!” Yuu warned, as Ace walked deeper into the ocean, going up to his knees. “This should be good.” Yuu tensed, trying to hold onto Ace, so she stayed on his shoulder. “Ace, I mean it, don't you dare!” But Ace didn't listen to Yuu's promising threat.
Yuu then found herself, getting thrown off of Ace's shoulder, and into the cold ocean. “Ace!” Yuu yelled, sitting up, staring up at her boyfriend. Ace only laughed, looking down at her, Yuu glared up at him, before seeing that her legs were right where Ace was standing. Yuu acted like she was going to stand up, but used the chance to sweet Ace’s legs, making him fall down.
Ace sat up, spitting out the salty water in his mouth. “Ack!” He coughed, Yuu laughed, as Ace playfully glared at her. Splashing some water at her, she squealed, before splashing him back. They continued to rough house, until they both became a bit tired. “Ok, ok, time out, I need a drink, my mouth is too salty.” Ace said, putting his hands up in surrender. “Yeah, alright.” Yuu said, pushing some water from her face.
Ace walked over to his brother, asking him for money, and he just gave him his 20 thumbmarks back. “Spend it wisely this time.” He said, before placing the sun glasses back onto his face. Ace scoffed, before walking with Yuu to the small concession stands. “Should we get slushies or soda?” Ace asked, looking over at Yuu for her opinion. She thought for a moment, before answering. “Alright, I’ll go, you go find something to eat.” Yuu nodded, the two walking away from each other.
Yuu was waiting in line, she heard the two men behind her talking, not being subtle at all. “Isn’t she cute.” “Yeah, you think she's with anyone?” Yuu was praying that they were talking about her, ‘But them talking about someone else is not any better.’ She thought, not knowing what to do. ‘Just get the food, and find Ace.’ Yuu thought to herself, as it was her turn to order.
Ace had grabbed the two drinks, both different flavors, because he wanted both, and figured he could have some from Yuu’s. Ace placed the drinks down on a table that had an umbrella covering it, he looked around for Yuu. When he spotted her, he saw that she was holding a bag of food, and two guys around her age were standing a bit too close to her. Her face screamed being uncomfortable. Ace clenched his jaw, heading towards them, taking his magic pen in his hands.
“Come on, hang out with us for a bit.” The taller of the two college kids attempted to persuade Yuu, “No thank you.” Yuu said, trying to walk off, but the shorter one stepped in her way. “Ok, how about we hang out with you then?” Yuu's face became dumbfounded, ‘Stupid, these guys are stupid.’ Before she could respond, the two guys “Excuse me?” The two felt the tap on their shoulder, they turned to see Ace standing behind them. “Hey, so you two are being creeps.” Ace said, brutally honest.
Yuu's eyes went wide, she didn't know what she was expecting, but this wasn't it. “What did you say kid?” Ace rolled his eyes, “I said, you're both being creeps, she said no.” Ace spoke a bit louder, gaining some people's attention. The two unknown college kids looked around, noticing the eyes on them, feeling uncomfortable. “We were just talking to her, how is this your problem?”
Ace clenched his fist, annoyed with these guys, “Seems I need to dumb it down to your level, She’s. Not. Into. You.” Ace spoke slowly, staying every word clearly. The two become more enraged. Yuu moved to ace, avoiding the two. “Ace, come on, these guys aren't worth it.” Yuu grabbed Ace's hand, but this made the two annoying boys in front of them scoff. “This is your type?” Before Ace could rebuttal, Yuu stepped in.
“Yeah, he is, because unlike you both, he actually has something going for him.” Yuu then walked off with Ace, who gave the guys a smug smirk. The two were about to follow, but were stopped by another pair of hands grabbing their shoulders. They turned over to see an older version of the boy who just walked away. “Hey, let's have a chat.” He said with a tight smile.
Ace and Yuu took a seat, both letting out a sigh. “That sucked.” Ace said, taking a sip from his drink. He then looked at Yuu, who was getting the food out, trying to distract herself. “You good?” Ace asked her, as she handed him his food. “Uh yeah, I'm fine, that was just…” Yuu didn’t have to say it, Ace could tell what she was going to say. “Don't worry about those jerks, I’m here for you so you don't have to worry.” Yuu looked at Ace in shock, as he took a fry and threw it into his mouth.
She looked down slightly blushing, not expecting Ace to be that smooth. “Hey, can I ask you something?” Yuu asked, playing with her food a bit. “You just did.” Ace smirked, Yuu gave him a not amused expression. “Ok, not the time, what’s up?” Yuu let out a breath, thinking on how to word this. “Why were you being weird in the car?” Ace choked on his food, not expecting that to be her question. “What do you mean, I wasn't being weird.” Yuu gave him a look, causing him to sigh, seeing that he was not fooling anyone.
“I was a little worried about you coming to the beach with us.” Yuu didn't say anything, just let him continue at his own pace. “Me and my brother get along, but ....he's a lot cooler than I am.” Ace played with another fry, “I guess, I was sort of….worried about you liking him more than me. Which I wouldn't blame you for.” Ace said, placing the fry in his mouth, not meeting Yuu’s eye. Yuu paused for a moment, before reaching for Ace's hand, taking it in hers. Ace tensed a bit, but didn't move away. “Your brother’s cool, there is no denying that.” Ace clicked his tongue, “Yeah, great way to reassure me.” Yuu squeezed his hand, telling him to stay quiet. “However, you are a bit cooler.” Ace looked at her confused, “Ace, without a second thought, you came to help me and grim multiple times. You were the first person to say something against riddle when he was acting like a tyrant. Not to mention, your spell…” Yuu hinted that Ace wanted to get it under control before telling his family about it. “Plus, not every freshman can say they saved the school from an overblot multiple times.”
Ace smirked, moving his hand up, intertwining their fingers together. “Yeah, I am pretty cool huh?” Ace said, acting like his usual smug self. “Oh and humble.” Yuu says sarcastically. Ace flicked a fry at her nose, making her slightly jump. “Aye.” She said with a laugh, that Ace shared with her.
Once the sun began to set, the three packed up their stuff, before heading back to the car. Ace decided to sit with Yuu in the back seat, this time. When hitting a red light, Ace's brother looked back at the two, “Did you two have a good time?” He paused, smirking, and taking a quick picture of the two. Both asleep, Yuu's head leaning against Ace's shoulder, Ace resting his head against hers, as their hands are intertwined. Sleeping soundly together, a peaceful smile on their face. “Good for you Ace.” His brother said, with a smile, driving again once the light turned green.
This Summer will be fun.
Rook and Yuu had a different idea on a simple summer date.
When Rook suggested for them to see a play that was being put on in the park, Yuu accepted, wanting to do something that Rook would enjoy. However, what she pictured as a small theater in the park, not a play being played out in an amphitheater. Yuu didn't mind, it beat sitting on the ground, that's for sure, she was just very unprepared for it.
She had worn a nice sun dress, and a very nice hat, Rook had caught her. Rook wore a matching outfit, with a matching hat, and he looked very pleased with them matching with each other.
The two walked hand in hand, as they looked around the large seating area, arriving early before the show. “We should get seated, so we get the best view of the play.” Rook guided Yuu to the seats he thought would be best for them.
Yuu was impressed, they were great seats, and Rook had found them right away. “Wow.” Yuu breathed out, looking around, seeing others start to come in and take their seats. “So what's the play about?” Yuu asked, looking at her boyfriend, who was looking through the pamphlet. “Oh this is a play I saw when I was a child, oh I still remember how it made my heart skip a beat, the passion and the drama.” Yuu watched her dramatic boyfriend explain, getting lost in the moment.
“What's it about Rook?” Yuu asked again, smiling at her boyfriend's antics. “Oh my apologies.” Rook then told Yuu about the play, as the seats continued to fill.
Their chatter ceased when the play started, Yuu enjoyed it, when she would look over to see rook’s reaction she saw that he was watching her instead of the play. Yuu felt her face flush, realizing that he was seeing her reactions to the scenes in the play. ‘I should probably try to control my face.’ Yuu thought to herself. As if Rook could read her mind he lifted her face up, having her look back at the play before leaning in to whisper into her ear. “Please relax, I enjoy seeing your reactions to the play ma chérie.” (My love)
Yuu tried to hide the shiver Rook had sent up her spine, with his breath touching her ear, but Rook of course noticed it. He leaned back into his seat, tightening his grip on Yuu hand, still watching her.
After the play, Yuu finally felt like she could breathe, Rook had let go of her hand and clapped for the performance. “Bravo! Bien joué!" (great job, well done.) Yuu clapped as well, smiling, she did enjoy the play, she just knew that Rook was looking at her the entire time.
They talked about the play, Rook talking about the differences between when he saw when he was younger and now. Yuu shared her favorite parts of the play.
They spent the rest of the day walking around, seeing what else the park had to offer. The sun had set, and Rook was dragging Yuu to another place in a hurry. “Rook, slow down, I'm going on a trip.” Yuu said, trying to keep pace with her boyfriend. “Sorry Yuu, but it is important that we make it before it starts.” Rook said, not slowing his speed. ‘What is he up to now?’
They had arrived at a clearing, many couples and friends were sitting on the ground, paired with blankets, facing a large screen. “Oh an outdoor movie?” Yuu said in realization. “Oui! And not just any movie, a movie that Roi du Poison did in his younger youth.” Yuu's curiosity peeked, “Oh really, I wonder what Vil looked like as a kid.” Yuu thought out loud, as Rook took her to a blanket he had prepared in advance. “Please have a seat.”
Rook held her hand as she sat on the purple blanket. Rook then sat beside her, the movie started up, playing some trailers first. As a man in a uniform came around and handed out popcorn. “Wow, I didn't know they did things like this.” Rook smiled with pride, liking his decision to set this up.
Rook had fed Yuu some popcorn and a drink, Yuu acting embarrassed by this, while Rook had no shame in his actions. Yuu fed him back, and held his drink for him, and Rook treated it as a great honor. “To be fed by your lovely hands, my heart sings with joy.” He said after the first bite.
The movie begins, and the two go into a comfortable position. Yuu leaned against Rook’s chest with her back, Rook kept an arm wrapped around her, holding her close, lightly lending his head on hers, as he watched the scree, and as he took in her scent.
Yuu had to control her squeal when she saw a mini vil on screen, ‘He's so cute!’ Yuu through, smiling wide, feeling the cuteness aggression overcoming her. “Even as a child, Vil was the most beautiful.” Yuu had to agree with Rook, you could almost mistake young Vil as a girl, if it weren't for his outfits that made it clear he was a boy.
Yuu began to tear up at a scene between Vil and Neige, ‘They should not be this good at acting.’ Yuu thought to herself. Rook whipped away her tears, she looked at him to thank him, but saw that he was crying, more than her. “Such a touching scene.” Rook said, Yuu now wiping away his tears.
Yuu smiled, confronting her boyfriend, the movie got better, ending with Vil being the villain, which made Yuu cringe a bit, given what she knows. “Well, I know Vil doesn't like being the villain, but everyone loves a good villain.” Yuu said, as she helped Rook clean up. Rook nodded with a wide smile, "Exactly, a glorious villain is always remembered, but Roi de Neige was an excellent hero, such a wonderful choice of cast.” Yuu didn't know whether to feel jealous or not that Rook was more obsessed with two beautiful men than her. ‘Eh it's fair, I love my fictional men.’ she brushed off the tough taking rooks arm in her hand.
“Thank you for today Rook, I had a lot of fun.” Rook's eyes shined bright at her word. “Of course my belle, anything for you.” Rook placed a gentle kiss upon her forehead.
This summer will be beautifully dramatic.
Silver was thrilled that Lilia allowed Yuu to stay with them for the summer.
It was a lovely day, the weather was nice and warm, with a cool breeze coming and going, some clouds in the sky blocking the sun at certain angles. Yuu was helping Silver outside, as he was feeding a few of the forest animals. Handing out some seed, and berries. When one of the bunnies tried getting silver attention. “Hmm?” One of the black dotted bunnies began to talk to them, “Oh sure, Hey Yuu.” Silver turned to look at his girlfriend, who was handing out berries to some squirrels. “Yeah?” She asked, looking up from feeding the squirrels. “The animals are trying to lead me somewhere.” Silver said, with his usual monotone expression.
Yuu looked over at the bunnies that were eagerly hopping around, trying to get Silver to follow them. “Oh ok, should I return to the cottage?” Yuu asked, not quite knowing what to do. Silver thought for a moment, he didn’t want to leave Yuu alone, but he didn't want to disappoint the animals. “Father should be back by now, would you mind keeping him company?” Silver asked, watching Yuu closely, with pure interest. “Yeah no problem, I'll make sure he doesn't cook anything.” Yuu sort of jokes, but knowing that if she sees the older fae in the kitchen, she would need to step in.
Yuu walked towards the cottage, Silver watched her, feeling the urge to follow her until she reached the cottage, to make sure she got there safely. However his attention was taken by the small animals calling at him. “Oh of course, let's go.” Silver followed them.
When Yuu returned to the cottage, she saw a note attached to the door. Yuu read it.
Dear Yuu,
I have left you a special gift at the table, please put it on and follow the cute little birds.
Lilia
Yuu smiled, taking the note off the door, heading inside. She looked at the table and saw two small birds sitting on the table, eating some seeds. They look up at her, giving a small chirp as a greeting. “Hi.” Yuu paused, remembering that they don't understand her like they do with Silver. “Oh uh…Chirp Chirp….” Yuu said a bit awkwardly, trying to remember how to say hi in bird language. The birds paused, before chirping happily, and continuing to eat their seeds. Yuu let out a sigh of relief, ‘I was so scared that I insulted them.’ Yuu looked at the table, seeing a lovely wrapped box placed on it. Yuu went over, slowly not wanting to startle the birds, and started unwrapping the box. After lifting the lid of the box, Yuu saw the cute sun dress laid within it. “Oh!” Yuu said in surprise, picking up the dress to measure it against herself. “This is cute.” Yuu said, taking in the blue dress, with small splashes of pink at the ends.
Meanwhile, Silver was walking upon a small stream, the animals getting more excited as they got closer to the destination. Silver couldn't help but smile at their behavior, wondering what they had planned.
Silver saw a large tree that was in full bloom, underneath that was a laid blanket with a picnic basket on top of it. All the animals went and sat on the blanket, he followed their lead, and sat down with them. “What did you all want to show me?” Silver asked, oblivious to the romantic vibe that was set. The animals didn't answer him, Silver didn't quite know what to do, but his eyes started to feel heavy, “Hmm no…not…yet…..Zzz..” Silver fell against the blanket, his eyes closing, and his breath steady.
Yuu walked through the forest, following the chatty birds, who couldn't hold their excitement. She smiled at their behavior, finding it cute, walking across the streamed path. Yuu let out a small whistle of a song she had thought of, catching the bird's attention, they looked at her in surprise, “Oh I guess that may sound like words to you both huh?” Yuu awkwardly laughs, the birds continue to stare at Yuu, as if asking her to continue. She takes note of this, and does, the birds chirped happily, before continuing the path.
Yuu came up to the meeting place, where she saw Silver laying down on a blanket, fast asleep. Yuu smiled softly, looking at her sleeping prince. She quite walked, even though there was no need since a blow horn couldn’t wake silver from his slumber. The small animals moved away as she approached, just giving her space, not moving too far.
Yuu smiled kindly at them, before taking a seat by silver, taking a moment to admire her handsome boyfriend. Bringing her hand up, to lightly push some of the hair out of his face. Silver felt her hand, and leaned into it, enjoying the familiarity of her touch. Yuu smiled widened, she just continued to sit there, letting Silver rest against her hand.
After a few minutes, some of the bunnies hopped over, and began to point at the basket. Yuu chuckled at the cute sight, she looked back down at her boyfriend, moving her hand a bit, causing Silver to stir. Yuu leaned down closer to him, whispering to him, “Silver. Wake up.” But she stopped when she remembered who this was. “Silver.” Yuu said normally, startling the animals around her, Silver still didn't budge, so she saw only one option left.
Yuu sat up, moving a bit away from him, before speaking once more. “Silver, your fathers cooking!” Yuu said with fake panic. Silver immediately shot up, looking around in a panic, “What!? Why?!” Silver then relaxed when he realized where he was, letting out a relief sigh. “Oh..” Silver felt a bit embarrassed by his actions, Yuu tried to hide her laugh, but he heard it perfectly clear. “How long was I asleep?” Silver asked, trying to hide his embarrassment, “Don’t know, I just got here a few minutes ago.”
Yuu looked around them, at the small flowers around, a closed picnic basket, a small tray of plates, and some variety of drinks. “Did you set this up?” Yuu asked, with a teasing tone. But Silver just looked confused, “No, this was here when I arrived.” Yuu felt a little bummed that he didn't get her teasing tone, but decided not to mention it. “Ok, then who…?”
It clicked with the young couple, realizing that the animals lead them here on someone else's wishes. They both chuckled, feeling touched by the small date set up for them. “That man loves surprises." Yuu said, looking at Silver fondly, “Yes, he will always surprise me.” Silver smiled, thinking of his father, and how he would often do such kind gestures for him.
Silver's smile disappeared, when he saw the picnic basket, getting reminded of the time when he and Lilia went for a picnic themselves, and Lilia had packed their lunch, it did not turn out well.
Silver grabbed the basket, and thought about just tossing it, but he had this feeling that he should check inside first. When he opened it, he was pleasantly surprised, seeing store bought food, with a note placed on top of some sandwiches. Silver picked it up, and read it.
Dear Silver and Yuu,
I hope you are enjoying my surprise! You two should enjoy this alone time, but don't have too much fun. 😉 I’ll be waiting at home for you both, be back before night fall!
Lilia
Silver smile returned to his face, feeling grateful and a bit shy by his fathers words. Silver looked over at Yuu, “Are you hungry?” Yuu relaxed, knowing that Silver would not have asked her, if he had truly planned for her and him to eat the food. She nodded, and Silver began to pass out the food.
After getting themselves set up, they picked out drinks, different foods in their plates, and two separated note books that were left in the basket, a book filled with questions. Silver had the book that had questions relating to dates that the two could go on, while Yuu had questions relating to them personally, it was a creative way for them to get closer.
And that's what they did, Silver was able to stay awake, wanting to listen to Yuu responses to the questions he asked, and wanted to be able to answer her as well. In the middle of one of the questions, Yuu got an idea, and held out a strawberry for Silver. He looked at her confused, not quite knowing what she was doing. “Take a bite.” Silver didn’t see a reason not to, so he took a bite, surprising Yuu. ‘Huh, not much embarrasses him huh?’ Yuu thought, watching her boyfriend happily eat the strawberry. Silver decided to do the same thing for Yuu, holding out a small sweet, however, Yuu's face became flustered. Upon looking at Silver's beautiful face, as he held out the delicious sweet towards her, with a charming smile. “Take a bite.” He repeated what she had said.
Yuu hesitated, but leaned forward and took a bite out of the sweet. Silver smiled as he watched her, finding her cute. He saw that her face was becoming red, he brought his free hand up to her face, catching Yuu off guard. “Are you feeling alright, is it too hot for you?” Silver asked, leaning in close. Yuu tried to respond, but what came out was a stuttered form of words. This made Silver worry a bit more, but before he could say anything else, two of the squirrels snuck up behind him, jumping onto his back, pushing him forward.
Silver and yuu fell together, with Silver landing on top of Yuu, causing their lips to meet. Yuu and Silver's eyes widened, Silver immediately pushed himself up, now lending above Yuu, “I'm sorry-” Yuu wrapped her hands around Silver's neck, pulling him back down. Silver face became slightly pink, ‘Ah better.’ Yuu thought, before bringing Silver lips back to hers. The animals looked away shyly from the passionate scene, as the couple continued.
This summer will definitely be sweet.
There was no possible way that Malleus was going to leave his beloved behind by herself for the entire summer. But knowing that if he were to bring Yuu, he would need to bring Grim as well, but he was able to leave Grim in the care of Lilia, Sebek, and Silver, for the special occasion he had planned today.
Yuu was preparing for bed, when she heard something come from the balcony. “Hmm?” She slowly moved to it, moving a bit of the curtains back to look out, and she saw her boyfriend floating above the railing. His hands behind his back and a charming smile upon his face, Yuu smiled back, and opened the door. “Evening Horton.” Yuu said, giving him a teasing look. “Evening my dear.” Mallues said, floating down to stand in front of Yuu, he then removed one of his hands behind his back showing off a bouquet of flowers she had never seen before.
“Oh Mallues.” Yuu said, touched, using his real name, taking the flowers, “They are lovely.” Yuu breathed them in, a gentle feeling overcome her mood. “Thank you.” Yuu smiled kindly at her fae prince, Mallues smiled proudly, pleased with Yuu's reaction. He took one of the flowers out, placing it behind her ear, “Hmm I was right, you are more lovely.” Malleus said, looking into Yuu’s eyes.
Yuu felt her face heat up, moving away from Mallue's gaze. Mallues chuckled at her reaction, finding her cute. “Yuu.” Malleus called her, getting her to look at him again. “Please allow me the honor of having your company for this evening.” Malleus held his hand out to her. Yuu felt less flustered, “Of course, just let me change.”
Yuu was about to head back in, but was stopped by Malleus, “There is no need.” Malleus waved his hand around, letting a green light cover Yuu, placing her into a black shoulder less, short sleeve, knee length dress. The flower in her hair now became a clip. “Whoa.” Yuu looked down at her dress, liking the flow it had, allowing her to move freely. ‘Oh he even placed shoes on me.’ Yuu thought, seeing that she was in short flat boots. “Thank you my prince.” Yuu jokingly bowed to Malleus.
Mallues decided to play along, he held out his hand again, “If it is what you desire my love.” And Yuu lost, Mallues eyes were filled with love, and his voice made her heart skip a beat. Yuu took his hand with hers, he then pulled her close to where she was now meeting his chest. Malleus wrapped his arm around her, being careful on how he held her. “Let's be off.” Malleus then flew into the air, holding onto yuu.
Yuu immediately grabbed Mallues shirt, trying to hold onto him for balance. She peeked her eyes open, before opening them wide, seeing the full view of Briar Valley. “Whoa.” Malleus smiled, seeing Yuu's expression, as she took in his land.
The couple soon arrived at a stone path. Mallues let Yuu out of his hold, Yuu looked around, noticing the path seemed a bit old. “Where are we?” Yuu looked up at her boyfriend, with a confused look. “A place I discovered when I was a child.” Malleus held out his arm for Yuu to take, offering to escort her. Yuu happily linked her arm with him, they both then walked down the path together.
As they walked, Malleus pointed out a few things he had found interesting as a child, and what he has learned about them since. Yuu saw in the distance there was an old building, looking like it was on the verge of falling over. Yuu could help but let out a light laugh, causing Malleus to look at her confused. “What is amusing?” Yuu shook her head, “It's just, you've been exploring ruins since you were young, I'm glad you never lost that child like wonder with age.” Yuu explained, leaning a bit closer to Malleus.
Mallues eyes widened, not expecting that response. He felt the tops of his ears feel a bit warm, “Hehe you humans are so carefree.” Mallues said, trying to brush off his shy state. Yuu could hear it in his voice, but didn't comment on it
They reach the ruin, and look around, Malleus finding some new thing about it, he then finds a gargoyle he had found on his own. “Oh dear, it was in such a fine state when I had left it last, but look at this poor thing, a wing is missing, and a horn is cracked off.” Malleus said, picking up the piece of the broken gargoyle horn.
“Oh that's too bad…but hey, you can make this a project during the break.” Yuu said, kneeling down with Malleus to look at the gargoyle resting on the ground. Mallues's eyes widened in realization, "You're right, I can mend this myself now.” Malleus smiled, seeming to be looking forward to the project. “You would like to help me?” Malleus asked, looking at Yuu with curiosity and hope. Yuu smiled widened, "I'd love to if you would have me.” Mallues looked like he was just given the best gift in the world. “Excellent, I will plan it right away once we return. There is one more place I want to show you.” Malleus stood up, offering his hand to help Yuu up, which she gladly accepted.
They walked up some stairs, Mallues keeping a good hold on Yuu in case they gave out. Once they reached the roof, Mallues tested to make sure it was sturdy. When he saw that it was safe, he helped Yuu up. Yuu looked around, and saw the view, it was nothing compared to the view Maulles had given her himself, but it was quite a sight. “This is so cool.” Yuu said, looking around, seeing where they had walked from.
She turned to look at Mallues, but paused to see that there was a blanket and two pillows. “Whats this?” Mallues didn't answer, just waved her over. She walked closer to him, a wind passing by, flowing her dress back.
Malleus brought his hand up to her face, closing her eyes gently. She let her eyes stay closed, “May I lift you?” He asked, softly whispering in her ear. Yuu nodded, not trusting her voice to stay steady. Malues picked her up bride style, before moving her down to the blanket. Gently placing her head on the pillow, moving her hair out of her face. Mallues then moved to lay next to her, “Open your eyes.” Mallues softly whispered.
Yuu slowly opened her eyes, and was met with a sky full of shining stars. Yuu couldn't say anything, the sky was so clear, and the stars were shining so bright, that they almost seemed to be different colors. “I came up here once, thinking there might be more to see, but all I had found were stars.” Mallues spoke, staring up at the sky. “I don't get to see them when I truly need them.” Yuu knew what he was referring to, when he’s upset, the weather matches him.
“I have noticed something strange recently.” Malleus turned his gaze to Yuu, and she met him. “Whenever I'm with you, the skies become clear, on our walks I can always see the stars shining above us.” Yuu brought a hand up to Mallues face, picking up a loose piece of his hair. “I’ve seen many enjoyable sights with you, I feel truly blessed.” Malleus said, his eyes filled with adoration and love.
Yuu couldn't help it, she moved closer to the fae prince, planting a kiss on his lips. Malleus was surprised, but relaxed into it, reciprocating the kiss, pulling her closer to him. They moved away, resting their foreheads against each other, “Hornton, you are the most senerier man I know. I have never once doubted you, not once have I felt fear of you. I have felt fear for you, that I can not deny.”
Mallues eyes widened in disbelief, “You felt fear for me?” Mallues has never heard someone say that to him, many fear him, but no one has said that they were scared for him, after all there isn't much that can burn him. “Yes, when I see you watching Silver and Sebek, I can tell you are savoring the moments. With our walks I can tell there is something on your mind that you are afraid to share.” Yuu moved away so their eyes could meet. “And I know that no matter how much time will pass, you will still feel alone.” Malleus felt his throat dry. “I-” Malleus was in shock, he didn't even realize it himself, ‘I am scared.’
“Mallues.” Yuu moved his face for him to meet hers, “You need to know, no matter how much time will pass, no matter how many come and go. You will still have someone that loves you. Whether that be Lilia, your grandmother, Silver, Sebek, or even me. You will always be loved, because you were born to be loved.” Mallues felt a small tear roll down his face, not of sadness, but of relief. “Yuu, this will be my only ask. Please stay with me, for as long as fate allows.” Yuu nodded. “I will be with you, even if you can't see me.”
Malleus moved this time, sitting up, kissing Yuu as she remained laying down, Yuu wrapping her arms around him, not letting him go.
This summer will be filled with love and memories.
Now, this took some major convincing and planning, Riddle knew his mother wouldn't approve of him having a girlfriend, especially one without magic, and no known background placed in this world, all she had was a broken down dorm.
Luckily for them, Trey had volunteered to let Yuu stay with him for the summer, that way she and Riddle can just meet up. Wanting to help the couple, truly enjoy their summer.
Riddle was currently waiting at the meeting place they had agreed upon, his mother was unaware of where he was really going, he left before she got the chance to ask for more details. “Riddle!” He looked over, hearing his name get called, when he found the course of the voice, his face became flushed.
Riddle had been so used to seeing his partner in the night raven uniform, that seeing her in different clothing, was a surprising sight. Yuu waves at him, now wearing a red tank top, and some shorts, with walking shoes. “Morning my queen.” Yuu said, as she stood in front of Riddle, her voice in a teasing tone.
Riddle stood still, not saying anything, his mouth slightly opened. Yuu looked at him confused, for two reasons, one Riddle was just standing there not saying anything, two Riddle is not exactly wearing amusement park clothes. “Riddle?” Yuu called out again, causing the red head to snap out of it. “Oh my apologies, I was-uh” Riddle felt his face become more flustered, he was not used to tripping over his words.
Yuu giggled at her boyfriend's shy behavior, before gently grabbing his hand. “Come on, let's go have fun.” Riddle smiled warmly at her, walking with her towards the entrance of the amusement park.
After paying for their tickets, they walked in, Riddle looking around with pure curiosity. “Curiouser and curiouser.” Riddle muttered out. Yuu silently chuckled, watching Riddle expression, “What would you like to do first?” Yuu asked, after letting Riddle take in the amusement park. “Oh uh…” Riddle pulled out the pamphlet of the park that he had gotten. Yuu looked over at him, as he looked over the map. “Acutally before that, we should go shopping.” Riddle looked up at her confused.
“Why isn't shopping usually saved during or after going around?” Yuu nodded, “Yeah, but I think it's best we get you more comfortable clothes.” Riddle looked down at his outfit, realizing that he was feeling rather warm, in his sort of professional attire. “Oh.” Riddle cleared his throat, “Yes, that might be for the best.” Yuu's smile widened, seeing the shy look on Riddle's face. “Ok, let's go.”
After finding a small shop that had clothing fitting to Riddle's taste, the couple began to look around, finding some clothing they liked, however, Riddle ended up finding a few items he thought Yuu would look nice in. He jumped when he felt a tap on his shoulder, “Find anything you like?” Yuu asked, holding a few items in her hands.
“Oh no, still looking, it seems you found a few.” Riddle looked at the clothing Yuu was holding, she nodded, “Yep, thought these would fit you perfectly.” Riddle smiled, feeling touched, that she was able to pick out a few outfits she thought he would like.
Riddle and Yuu found the changing rooms, Yuu waited outside looking around at the merchandise nearby. Her attention was drawn back to the changing room, when the door opened. Yuu looked very pleased, when seeing how the outfit fit him. “Ah you look great!” Yuu complimented him, Riddle looked down at the outfit he had on. He has a short sleeved red unbuttoned shirt, with a plain white shirt underneath. Light gray shorts, and red walking shoes.
“How do you feel?” Yuu asked, mindlessly straightening out his extra shirt. “It feels nice, although I am not used to this kind of clothing.” Riddle explained, looking at Yuu lovely, as she fixed his attire. “But do you like it?” She asked, looking up at him, realizing how close their faces were to each other.
The couples faces matched in blushing, taking a quick step away from each other. “Uh yes…thank you.” Yuu didn't say anything in return, just giving a slight nod, “Here, give me the tags, I’ll go pay for them, so you can just wear them out.” Yuu said, taking the tags off, to get them scanned. “Wait, allow me to pay for them.” Yuu smiled nicely, “It's fine, let this be a gift from me.” Yuu walked off to pay for them, not letting Riddle know that she had swiped some money from Crowley, before leaving to Trey's place, without letting him know.
Riddle felt touched by the sentiment, before looking back at the items in the store, seeing a hat that was blue, with a small white small cat that was sleeping, on it. Riddle looked at the hat and then at Yuu, who was talking to one of the employees of the shop. He immediately moved to the other register, and paid for the hat.
Yuu turned around to talk to Riddle, but was stopped when the hat was placed on her head, lightly covering her eyes. Yuu paused in surprise, before lifting the hat smiling at Riddle, who was already sharing the smile. “It fits.” he said, offering yuu his arm, she happily took it, and they walked out of the shop.
They began with small games, Riddle became frustrated when he lost. Yuu helped him calm down, before having him try again, and giving him some pointers. When Riddle did win, he felt so overjoyed he ended up hugging Yuu in celebration. She didn't mind or comment on it, not wanting to make Riddle uncomfortable.
After playing a few games, they moved on to rides, Yuu and Riddle held hands the entire time, but Riddle learned that he liked the thrill of the rides. “It reminded me of flying on a broom, or when I'm riding Vorpal.” Yuu laughed with Riddle, happy to see him so pumped up. “That was a lot of fun.”
Yuu looked around, as she listened to him, looking for their next activity. Her eyes caught a mirror maze, and thought this would be fun for the puzzle loving boy, since it’s close to one. “Hey how about we try that.” Yuu pointed to the small house. Riddle looked at it, before becoming excited, “Oh, I heard of these, but I was never able to go to one.” Yuu mentally high fived herself. “Well, let’s give it a try.” Yuu and Riddle walked to the small house.
As soon as they entered, they immediately became disoriented, seeing themselves, and different paths within the mirrors. “Oh my.” Riddle said, placing his hand out, but hesitating not wanting to put smug on the glass. “Riddle it’s fine, it's better than walking head first into them.” Yuu encourages, holding out her own hand, taking a careful step.
After a few bumps and stumbles, they found their way out, as Riddle told her the similarities with the mirrors to the story of the queen of hearts. How there would be odd mirrors in her land, and not a single normal one.
As the sun began to set, Riddle noticed the ferris wheel, “Would you like to ride the ferris wheel Yuu?” Yuu looked up at the sky, seeing that the sun was setting, “If that alright with you.” Riddle nodded with a smile.
As they waited in line, they looked through the photos they took together, but they both kept the photos they took of each other having fun to themselves. When it was their turn, Riddle held Yuu’s hand as she stepped on, then stepped in after her. Once they began moving, the couple's attention immediately went to sights, watching as they went up, stopping for a long minute so the people at the top could take in the view.
Riddle looked over at Yuu, and felt himself start to admire her, as the sun lightly hit her, and shined off her perfectly. Yuu looked at Riddle, catching him off guard, causing him to blush and look away, feeling embarrassed at being caught.
Yuu lightly giggled, finding Riddle's blushing face cute. Riddle couldn't help but smile as well, he took a breath before speaking up. “Thank you, for today. It was very delightful, and I quite enjoyed myself, as well as my time with you.” Riddle said, trying to keep his voice steady. He felt his heart pounding in his chest, as he laid his feelings out. “I never got the chance to do this sort of thing before. And I am really grateful to be doing it with you.” Yuu felt her heart start to beat rapidly.
Before she could respond, the ride stopped at the top, causing to look at the two towards the dun, setting over the hills. Yuu looked over at Riddle, seeing his curious expression as he looked at the view. She moved from her seat, to sit next to Riddle.
He jumped a bit, not expecting her to move, she placed their hands together, before looking at Riddle in the eyes. “Thank you for letting me be a part of this.” Riddle glanced at her lips, before moving back to her eyes. Yuu closed her eyes, letting Riddle move at his own pace. Riddle hesitated, before moving to her, and pressing his lips against hers.
It was a quick but sweet kiss, they moved away from each other, both smiling. Yuu then laid her head on his shoulder, Riddle looked at her for a moment before laying his head against hers.
