Yeah, see? People our age should have their wits about them. What've you been up to, anyway? Any wild escapades you ventured out on?

Oh, well that isn’t so bad I guess. If he was our age he shouldn’t have gone and gotten himself lost…
Yeah, see? People our age should have their wits about them. What've you been up to, anyway? Any wild escapades you ventured out on?
That is… wow. Did he find his son…? No - you’re not bad. I probably would have found it funny…
I think he was just kidding, because there was a big fuss over finding the child and they didn't find one that was lost, so... I think he just wanted to ruffle some feathers, really.
Putting it forward would only let the powers that be in on the plan, it’d be much better to just leave it as it is now for us to decide to put into action so we’d have the element of surprise on our hand whenever things around here get even drier than they are now. Â
It seems you've had a lot of time on your hands to fully think through this elaborate hypothetical situation. Yes, let's hope the school's dry spell is lightened by some fresh entertainment. I'm hoping for some new faces to file in and brighten up the place - I'm getting bored.
I suppose you’re right, Delia. I believe he is going strong, not done a mistake yet it seems. Give it a little more time.
He still hasn't? Our dearest Declan is doing well for himself. I'll have to gift him a bottle of Bourbon for surprising us all. Yes, I'm assuming time will tell in this case.
It should be - I’m a wild card, can you really tell what’s going to happen next? Maybe I’ll go off the rails.. or perhaps I’m just a ticking time-bomb. I suppose you’d have to find my weaknesses; if I have any, that is.
That sounds pretty wild if you ask me - though I have to wonder why you didn’t sneak your old pal Ted out along with you.. a little glamour goes a long way.
The great Edward Hopkirk having weaknesses? I never thought I'd see the day. Maybe I'm your weakness - what, with my dashing charm and outrageous magnetism.Â
I mean, I suppose I could bring you along the next time I go. You wouldn't be that terrible company.Â
You’d think there was but apparently not. All hope has gone out of the window, I believe.
I guess that will have to be on the back burner for now. How's our bet coming along?Â
What can I say? I’m a bad egg. I’d get rid of me if I were you before I start corrupting the establishment. One minute, it’s a couple of days off to try and recover, the next I’ll have classes emptied and tutors alike will be falling to the ground, wondering where they went wrong in their lives.
Oh really? Anything to share with a bored soul like me?
You say that as though a little corruption is my worst nightmare. This certainly does sound like a very dramatic chain of events, I can't help but be a little curious about the whole affair. How will we ever control you? You're a maniac.
Just the usual, really. In order to avoid being stuck in my room with my phone ringing last night, I snuck out and ended up at an aquarium in the middle of the night. What can I say - It's a glamorous life and somebodies got to live it.
Impressive if you think about it. There are some strange people about these days, I’m telling you.
Yeah, I’m sorry about that. I’ve not been too well.. so I thought it might be best if I took a day or two off studies to try and get better. How about you? You been spending your time wisely?
Hopkirk having a day or two off studies?! I'm alerting the Church Elders. This is serious, ground-breaking business. Oh, you know me. Not necessarily wisely, but my time's certainly been eventful.
I guess not.. though I can’t imagine the look on everyone else’s faces. Was he being serious or-? You don’t think he really just left his son, right?
He was joking, I think. I don't even know if he actually had a son - it was probably more for the shock value.Â
I haven't seen you in a while, what've you been up to?Â
Oh, why even bother kicking it at all then if you do decide to go that route? I’ve always wanted to do a scene like in the movies where the girl takes her shoe off and just drives the heel down into whatever part of the villain the moment calls for her to hurt, you could totally just use the sharp point of the shoe to absolutely pummel that statue into bits like the marble is all your own and you’re one of the ancient masters.Â
Why not have a plan for whatever you could think of? Ah, that’s amazing. With your ideas of knocking down the figureheads and the combined dismemberment of order, things here would definitely start looking up if people just let us be in charge.Â
You have it all worked out - either way, the statue wouldn't stand a chance. See, we should put this forward as a plan of action. It seems like we have it all figured out between the both of us.
It’s a little…harsh, itsn’t it?
Connors, lighten up!Â
Besides, I think his son was like our age, so it's hardly a great injustice. The guy was just joking, I'm sure.
That sounds a bit harsh…but I like America’s Funniest Home Videos, and I thought it was kind of funny when you said it..
I won’t tell anyone you laughed if you don’t anyone I thought about laughing.
Sounds like a pact. I'll take it to my grave and never tell a soul.
I mean, I think he was joking though. So it's all good.
So I was shopping and a man had lost his son and he asked to make an announcement. He got given the microphone and he leaned in and I actually started to feel a bit bad for him, then he just said "Goodbye you little shit." and dropped the microphone and left. Am I a bad person for finding that hilarious?Â
And some people look absolutely tragic in teal.
Can't agree more.
I totally was! I mean, I went through that phase with my Bedazzler and that was a total embarrassment but otherwise. Micah— do you know Micah, she’s totally rad— helped me a lot too.Â
I still am the most fashionable nine year old, too. Just, not nine years old. I do some of the costuming for the school plays here. But my fav medium is still me!Â
I'm proud to say I never entered into Bedazzle territory. Micah? I don't know her personally. You do? You do a good job of it in that case. I've seen some of the costume work in the past years and it's all been good.
Nothing is quiet when Maddie Lambert is your girlfriend, trust me. She’s been interrupting my routine and I have no complaints about it but it has been nice getting back to my usual antisocial self for a few days. You think it’s cold already? Looks like you’ll be Cordybear this winter considering we’re barely in fall right now.
Ah, that's true. Maddie has a way of making any day busy. It's so cold already, I don't know how I'm going to survive the winter. A girl will be spotted rolling through the grounds in her duvet and that's how you'll know I've emerged. But then again, I venture out at night a lot, so that's probably why I'm experiencing the worst of it. It's always colder then.
Lead The Way | Cordelia & Caleb
Caleb: "Shit." Cal whispered into the night at the light switched on far above them. His first instinct was to run fast and far, but the girl pulled him against the cold wall before he got a chance. Rather dramatically, Caleb held his breath and glanced up at the window. What the hell were they doing up there with the lights on? They would get yelled at by a supervisor soon enough. "I was thinking more James Bond and the Bond girl." He replied, still maintaining a quiet tone. A gentle breeze caused the leaves of nearby trees to rustle. It seemed like no one besides the two of them were out on the grounds. King was silent, which contrasted greatly with the noise of day. Another reason why Cal liked sneaking out. At last, the light above them flicked off. They were again submerged in darkness only broken by the dim moonlight. Caleb sighed and stepped away from the wall. "You make it seem so dull." He began to slowly walk backwards, still looking at the girl. "Follow along. I can assure you that it's a lot better than chain smoking with nuns and freezing to death." With a smirk, Cal turned and began slowly walking away. He trusted that the girl would follow him, but he didn't want to be too far ahead of her. He had already decided which hidden place to show her. Now he just needed to get there without getting lost. Cal was used to going there from his dorm, not from where he thought was the Kent building.
Cordelia: The blonde scoffed under her breath, raising a brow across to the boy shaded by the building. "What, so you're the action hero and I'm just some bimbo on your arm? How outrageous." She commented with a sarcastic drawl, masquerading an expression of contempt before dropping it into a smirk, watching as he departed from the support of the wall. Out from her lips fell a quiet laugh as if to challenge his statement and she too stepped back from the wall, setting herself onto the path once more. "Oh yeah? I have to say, you've got my expectations incredibly high. I just don't know if you'll live up to the rowdiness of the nuns, in all honesty. They're a real wild bunch." Cordelia quipped as she stalked along the path behind the boy, making no real effort to catch up to reach his side as she trusted that he knew his way about the school well enough to lead them. "So, where are you taking us? Somewhere quiet where you can have your wicked way with me?" She interjected playfully before sucking her lips in a little as another gust of wind ravaged her bare arms.
