I love how the anime changes this scene from the manga

In the manga this scenes more so played for laughs, with nakamuras expression being directly seen, and hifumi looking a little horrified tbh

But in the anime, we don’t see his face from the front. But from what we can see, he’s been crying. And it isn’t portrayed as comedic at all

And unlike the manga hifumis expression isn’t that of fear/uncertainty at all. Her face softens a little cos she understands that this time the request is much more serious.

I actually cannot do this holy shit ik how the chapter ends in the manga but the anime made it 20x more emotional and it just rlly rlly hit me. Pls give this boy a happy ending
