hi~!! i'm cornbread! my pronouns are she/they, and this is where i make posts.

the posts in question will occasionally be about whatever minecraft resource pack i'm making or whatever game i'm playing (usually a platformer). would be an animator for century park if we had a VA for our main character. legally allowed to fuck for some reason.

it's too bad there aren't really any good resource packs on pmc. like, back when i used mcpedl, i'd find multiple amazing packs literally every day. some of the packs i still use now are from there. but pmc isn't like that. even in the java edition space, most of it is just the same stupid bullshit all the time. glowing ores, ""bushy leaves"", programmer art extensions. over and over and over again.

idk. i guess i'm just a little sad about how much of my minecraft experience the past few years has been directly made by me.

i really want modrinth to finish that bedrock support. or at least remove it from the faq if they don't actually have plans for it.

I don't see the need to tag Education Edition unless I also go through and tag everything with Java Edition and Bedrock Edition since there are Java and Bedrock exclusive blocks in this tournament as well. They're all versions of the same game, the only time I'd separate them out is if they're like, April Fool's blocks or something that aren't actually mainstays. In full honesty I have no clue why people are so dramatic about these Education Edition blocks, I'm sure you guys will survive them being here unsignposted considering most of them were voted out already anyway

#context: they're doing an MCC on bedrock edition for the game's 15th anniversary and the java players are being bitchfucks about it #as if every single prior MCC hasn't been for java edition.

^ just to like, clarify: the actual MCC event is probably going to still be on java edition. the thing that's happening on bedrock is a limited time minigame server based on the event

the way people talk about bedrock edition packs is so fucking infuriating. just as a reminder:

these are made by the community. if a given pack does not exist for bedrock edition, that's because no-one has made it. that is not bedrock edition's fault.

marketplace prices are decided by the uploader and not mojang. there is nothing requiring certain items to be certain prices. it was entirely oreville's decision to make actions and stuff so fucking expensive.

you can download packs from other places than just the marketplace. in fact, these places are often the EXACT SAME ONES you would get a java edition pack from. your insistence on denying this does not make it false, you fucking double standard hypocrite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
