the sign outside the diner flickers, displaying it's name, "the corner", in neon; the open sign flipped. the door's bell jingles as you(&) enter the building, taking in the sound of chattering and cooking and the smell of fresh (albeit greasy) fast food.

— "hey! welcome to the corner!" a person with dyed muted pink hair with the name tag that read "valentine" greets you(&), holding a stack of menus on one hand and a pen and pad on the other. he escorts you(&) to an empty table.

— "my name's valentine—call me val, a d i'll be taking your order. here's the booklet. it has everything in it." she hands you(&) a laminated book. "i'm not joking when i say everything."

you(&) flip open the cover, opening the first page. it had the table of contents on it. it read:
