I’ve been really poorly this week and been struggling to paint, or to do anything really, but I just about managed this wee portrait of one of my favourite onscreen duos.

Today i nearly witnessed full on jopper porn, saw them kiss twice and hug and hopper protecting her and joyce saving hop and them Holding hands and being All smiley and flirty and so SO soft to each other

This was worth it. All these years were worth it. they mean the world to me.

I apologize for the person I'm becoming in the circumstance that my ship has just became canon after character A spent $40k on a ransom, crashed a plane, proceeded to break into a Russian prison, and promptly mouth fucked in a church with character B who was presumed dead for several months. not to mention that in that time, she raised his kid. my fanfic dreams came true so I'm going to be insufferable for a while

physically cannot stop thinking about how gentle hopper was in vol 2. in everything he did. when he looks at joyce when he kisses joyce when he hugs joyce when he touches joyce’s face when he talks to joyce. when he hugs el when he looks at el when he kisses her forehead when he talks to el. when he looks a joyce. hell even when he hugs mike. also, when he looks at joyce.

like in season 3 he was a bundle of chaos which was fun but this season is such a contrast because he’s had time to think and been so alone and he really thought he lost joyce and can’t believe she’s real when he sees her and GOD he’s the best
