I hope that the Cryo archon is not an edgelord, but controlled warmth. We have a dramatic cutscenes involving puzzles to siege the ice palace at sunset, only to enter her throne room, completely silent with only SFX (clothing sounds, ice, outside weather, etc.). She treats us with curiosity, and describes everything in results, systems. She shows around the palace, with a palace that is both the beauty of Elsaās ice palace but also feels like a military fortress. For the first time, she is the archon that treats us a descender, as a divine envoy. I hope that the new skin is a uniform provided by her. She shows Fauti's most secretive operations and their purposes, and we find that via the control panel she has in her room. Her bedroom is controlled by warmth, even though there are luxurious furs, a fireplace, and a tea set, the warmth is controlled. For a real life week, 45 minutes a day, she has tea with us on a balcony beneath the night sky with the northern lights. HOWEVER, she calmly explains all the different Fauti operations that have been accumulated in the World Quests, on how her narrow focus on the plan to rebel against Celestia has allowed the local Fauti operations to commit malicious acts in their goal of rebellion (I would have it mapped on on a flow chart with ??? on unknown information). On the daily lives of the Harbingers, how they treated those they crossed and their employees as part of a contained response against impossible constraints. Columbia being treated as nothing more than an endless vessel of power works well hereāDottore as well with his inability to view other people as human, only as variables. Sandrone would be in the middle, caring deep down but having to choose the most optimal decision while still remaining ethical.
I would like to hope that when she reveals her plans to rebel against Celestia, the horror lies inā¦.
How the system of the Fauti dehumanizes those in it, and how calmly she speaks about it
Her plans to rebel against Celestia not only being terrifying in cost but also being revealed to the be the only truth. When we find out and perhaps disagree with her plans, she does not attempt combat like Raiden does. She simply lets us go, tells the Fauti to not stray in our path and allows us to discover the truth ourselves. I have a feeling Tsaarita once experienced this process herself, and her power lies in her ability to use human factors to her advantage. It is similar to what the Abyss SIbling tells us, that we will soon see the truth of this world at the end of our journey.Ā
However she also shows that the Fauti have nuance. While she calmly admits those stationed outside of her nation have tended to be more malicious, those within the nation are shown to do good, such as providing infrastructure, disaster relief, etc.Ā
My hopes for the Tsartia is that her power lays in controlled warmth, NOT edgelord vibes.
Thank you for reading this long post.
