I went shopping today. I’m going to need you to know and be prepared that our daughter’s wardrobe is about to be primarily pink.

That’s fine, Wade. I was going to go out and buy some clothes that are more neutral.

The more clothes the better during the first year. They grow so fast. And sometimes the baby shit migrates out of the diapers. It’s foul.

But if you want me to buy pink, I can.

I still have baby stuff. It’s not pink but it’s bedding, low sensory toys, clothes, etc.

‘They got you a hamper of some of their favourite foods and alcoholic beverages. Don’t ask me what’s in it, I don’t know. They wouldn’t tell me.’ He hands over a hamper.

‘I got you a sword and a new, state of the art, Spartoi blaster,’ he handed over two wrapped boxes. ‘And a couple hundred credits.’ Along with an envelope. ‘Just in case you go to Knowhere. Don’t go there without bringing Earth food for the telepathic Soviet dog. A Happy Meal will be enough for him.’

Wow that sounds.. adventurous. *Scott chuckles a bit, taking the hamper*

Aw Dad. This is a lot, you shouldn’t have.

That flashlight there has family memories on it. Nathan’s birth, family photos, a couple pictures of the grandparents, and the like.

You need a vacation at this point

Every time I take a vacation something goes wrong.

Then I’ll take you on a vacation to the past. That way you know what’s going to go wrong.

That’s very kind son but the universe seems to rewrite itself to ruin my day no matter what I do.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I'm thankful for my family, the Starjammers, and my biological family, my amazing sons, and all of Scott's time travelling, universe hopping kids. You're all awesome.

For a long time I thought I was all that was left of my family, so I avoided coming back to Earth. But my son's were alive and well. And I couldn't be happier or more thankful to have them still in my life.

[ a tiny space ship was scene in the distance just randomly floating like it had lost all power ]

Corsair and the Starjammers were in Earth’s space. They could surely conduct some space piracy and scavenging here - Earth was always getting invaded by some aliens or another.

Corsair had spotted the ship and told his crew to move closer - valuables might be on it, after all.

He suited up and boarded with Hepzibah.

[ you could see when you entered it that it looked vacant like someone or something lived on it.. there were food cans, clothing, and shord layed around in a living like area than another part of the ship you could see opened to this long hall where you could find the driver part of the ship.. when they entered a robot came to greet them it looked a bit like herbie the fantastic 4's robot but it was a bit thinner at some parts with a color pallet of cream white + purple.. when the robot saw the two it chirpped than said in a high pitched robot voice ]

"Welcome aboard..." it paused for a moment scanning the two "Corsair & Hepzinah" "one moment while I go get master" it said chirping again as it than turned around and rolled to a bed room that was nearby with a sleeping pod hovering in it... you could hear the robot tapping on the cover of the pod and talking to someone who was than brought out

Corsair was used to robots, he’d spent the last 20 or so years in space. That wasn’t a great surprise or anything. His own ship’s medic was a robot. A techno-organic robot, but still.

He dropped any plans to pillage immediately. This seemed more like a search and rescue mission than recovery.

‘Uh, hello. You can call me Corsair, or Chris. This lovely lady here is Hepzibah. We’re members of the Starjammers. Does anyone here require assistance?’

[ the robot spoke again speaking for the one that was brought out ]

"Hello this one is bone.. Bone Blackwood owner of the ship. Currently they are unable to speak due to being nonverbal at the moment.. our ship suddenly lost power a few miles back and we havent been able to get it running again so we've just been floating in space" I (the one named bone) nodded along with the robot

‘Do you need assistance? I could get my engineer to come aboard and look at the ship or I could bring you guys to Earth? Is that where you were headed?’ He asked.

[ I (Bone) nodded ]

"Yes we would greatly appreciate the help" the robot said
