Probably a rather poor analysis of AndreW2002's PsychoNetworks
There is a rather excellent fanfiction that explores Andre's chat in more detail: AFK, by Aisu. I advise you read it even if you don't understand a word of this post, since this is kind of a ramble. I'm writing it at 9am after an all-nighter thanks to this series infecting my mind. Last chance to back out.
If you're not already aware, Andre's chat is directly modeled on Sigmund Freud's structural model of the human psyche. At 5:07, SIDI explicitly states "i got dem freud lüps", and the chatters' names are direct cognates to his concepts.
Freud describes 3 main constructs, the "id", "ego", and "superego". These are built upon the presuppositions of conscious and unconscious thought being separate, and while technically the three of id/ego/superego are intended to map onto un/consciousness, treating them as separate gives us our five characters.
feargeyt16774 is unconscious fear. He has one purpose. He's there to scare Andre into running away from Assimiliation, and you can watch the admins actively mute him to stop Andre endlessly resetting (7:40). He can overpower all the others instantly - :pepefear: by anyone other than feargeyt is fear taking over Andre's whole mind - but where the others quickly adapt, the same unconscious spikes of fear always emanate from feargeyt.
Conzercheez is conscious thought. He handles general awareness, intent, and serves as a reality check - he's the first to start speculating about what Assim is, its purpose (10:29), and confusion at Assim being able to interact with them (10:54) - all the parts of the brain that involve in-depth thinking. Consider: "wait how is it night 53 seconds into the run" when nobody else notices or cares (1:43); "text goes up. was obvious", when it is not obvious to SIDI (19:03); Conzer exists to question things.
SOUPBEGONE31 is the superego. The superego is an internalisation of rules from someone's surroundings or culture. In this instance, it's the "we need to go fast" rule. It also strives for perfection. As a result, SOUP is Andre's motivator to forget everything else and focus on the speedrun. He calls the constant interruptions by Assim "tedious" (10:56), expresses constant distaste for doing anything except being fast, and corrects Andre away from mobs that are slowing him down.
SIDIsquish is the id, the unconscious desires, impulses, and needs of the mind. SIDI is an impulsive character, the first to suggest attacking Assim (5:29), then its first fan (10:03), and he explicitly begins desiring Assim later on (10:55). He has text-morphing abilities the other chatters do not, and often just leaves for a bit - to me, this is a reflection of the id being the "inaccessible" section of the mind and generally only concerned with satisfying its own impulses, no matter what rules the other (somewhat conscious) parts follow.
Finally, xx_E-G-O_xx, unsurprisingly, is the ego. The ego acts as a balance between the other constructs within the brain. Freud describes it as "driven by the id, confined by the superego, repulsed by reality": SIDI wants to do things, SOUP dictates what exactly, and Conzer rejects it if impossible. This constant balancing act is often the cause of anxiety within the mind, and this can be seen (alongside the other main psychonetworks) during the escape from admin4, when Assimilation doesn't seem to be with them (22:09). E-G-O worries "[i] dunno if he can follow us", SIDI desires ("hopefully"), SOUP can't comprehend something outside of his rules ("shit youre right"), and Conzer applies a dose of reality ("evidently yes") as it turns out Assimilation can follow them after all.
The ego has extended purposes too. Memory, judgement and tolerance, planning, and similar. E-G-O is the one handling the "clips" that serve as Andre's memory (1:57), critiques the admins for being too harsh (7:47), and examining future possibilities (24:27). Compared to SIDI's impulses or SOUP's single-issue voting bloc, E-G-O and Conzer are more thoughtful, median, and calm.
All together, it paints a picture of AndreW2002's PsychoNetworks being implemented by one of the admin's (presumably 4's) understanding of Freudian psychology, and I hope I've explained how each person fulfills their roles. It's also worth noting, however, that Andre occasionally acts alone. The chat doesn't influence every single move he makes, or if they do, they don't verbalise it. I don't think it's wrong to assume that Andre has fundamental identity, buried deep under the psychonetworks that run him, but I suspect it might just be his basic programming telling him how to play Minecraft.

It was really easy to number them since we know Full Square's and Gridman's numbers. I am most excited to see all 9 of them. Especially ∅. And I wonder what this means if you take Assimilation's words about what that room is supposed to be.
ok so i brought up the on/off signs at the top of these and it turns out they change throughout the video
they're all off when assim first finds them despite the fact fullsquare (admin4) sees assim like. 10 seconds later. production mistake, or did they just get that unlucky with timing?
then on the switch to fullsquare's perspective, multiple are on - specifically 3, 4, 5 and 6. (0 is off, i checked)
4 is hunting down the clones (and then the pair), and 3 is presumably trying to regain control of the stream. where are 5 and 6 during this?

i've been arguing in the comments of the "Happy Birthday" Program video and a thought struck me. the creator of the program is communicating with jonathan via text, manipulating the program to change the answers given to the user. what other entity do we know that does that? that creates messages on-screen talking directly to a player?
i wasn't immediately sure of the connection, but then i re-watched the Wacky Footage of a Minecraft Player Who Went Missing, and near the end of that video a bloodied corpse of presumably awesomeg is shown. it's way less targeted, sure, but the only other time we've seen a corpse in a video is in this most recent one. what if hungry made the Happy Birthday Program?
another thought - the screen at the end suggests the police are still searching. the card at the beginning says "disappearances". what if they haven't found the bodies? what if this is a technique for hungry to lure people to a place where they'll save it the effort of killing them?
i actually thought about that since since the wish entity and hungry follow a similar process of using fear to catch people's attention then luring them somewhere to devour their souls
BUT the thing that's bugging me is that hungry got to people through Minecraft so a part of itself is at least a little connected to its Minecraft, meanwhile the wish entity completely relied on manipulation to get Jonathan in an isolated location presumably killing him and using the "make a wish" prompt to get even more victims in
the details of how these two entities operate is different so I'm wondering if wish adapter to Minecraft and became hungry or if they're just two different beings and that their methods are just common
souler was the one using fear to eat people's souls but yeah both hungry and wish using fear to help them kill people suggests that it's one of the main methods for these anomalies to control others
oneshef confirming that this is unrelated to CL16 in a recent community post and saying "it's up to you whether it happened in canon or not" means that this is definitely a separate entity, so we can add wish to the list of "people i would like to never talk to please!!!" and get sad about all the theories resulting in nothing

i have like 3 active tos friends who are absolute creative nerds and would definitely use tumblr, so i got really confused when i checked the #townofsalem tag and there were only 7 posts in the last two years, completely forgetting that tumblr as a website isn't utterly shite and actually supports the spacebar
so i was doing the thing where i discuss music with idiot children on discord when they brought up orbitron, and someone mistook them for the font
this made us wonder if anyone ever named a band “wingdings”, and yes, someone absolutely did do that, and they made it the biggest shitpost ever
i cannot quite explain how terrible this music purposefully is. the audio is always clipping horribly. it is recorded on one 20 pound microphone several metres away from any of the instruments and is functionally a series of noises in order. half of the songs are covers of songs you know very well but played quite awfully, and the band members actively laugh at themselves while playing
if you have time to spare. give the “I Burnt My Mouth on a Chicken Kiev for Wingdings” album a listen, featuring such deep and thought-provoking titles as “we are number one but everytime we do anything it sounds awful“ and “WITE XMAS“ i can’t quite understate how fucking funny it is to start listening to a song with no warning, hear the recording physically start during a conversation and a quite-good pop punk riff (played 3 metres away from the microphone, of course) before your ears are blasted by a suddenly Very Loud guitar. and then a cover of smash mouth starts. i just. it’s wonderful.
they’re not even a band that threatens to become good. they just suck on purpose and it’s hilarious and i love them and they haven’t posted anything since december 2016. please come back my beloveds i miss you
