im honestly so mad that People see moment when sasuke saves Sakura and thinks its pinnacle of love, no its not. Sasuke saved Sakura bc he was his friend from team. Naruto too. That doesn’t mean he loves her, bc he don’t. I hate people who say who understands Sasuke and say ship him with Naruto or Sakura. Im so mad that Sasuke got ending when he is stuck in Konoha system and have daughter he abonds. With Sakura, who doesn’t even know truth about clan and works for Naruto. Sasuke deserves better than this frauds.

I totally feel you. It’s frustrating because the fandom can be so irrational about this. Sasuke never had a romantic bone in his body he was way too consumed by trauma and revenge to care about romance. To him, Naruto and Sakura were just comrades nothing more

I’m honestly not a SasuSaku fan. I feel like Sasuke deserves better than a relationship built on guilt, especially being married to someone who’s so tied down to the village. It feels like Sakura got exactly what she wanted, but that doesn’t mean it’s what Sasuke actually wanted or needed.

​I’m just not into this ship because it doesn't celebrate his character it feels more like it 'tamed' him. A lot of SasuSaku fans say Sasuke can’t be forced into anything, but that’s not what It means he wasn't literally forced, but it feels like he married her out of a sense of obligation or debt. It’s like he’s just staying with her because he feels he has to, not because it's the best fit for him

The fandom treating Naruto or Kakashi as the "trauma gold standard" is straight-up delusional. Naruto is a psychological unicorn a kid who spent years as a social pariah and somehow turned that into a "Live, Laugh, Love" campaign and Kakashi’s "healing" was jus becoming chronically chill and addicted to reading smut in public.​Those aren't blueprints for mental health; they are statistical anomalies. Expecting Sasuke to "walk it off" just because the main character is a weaponized ray of sunshine is beyond delusional or these people only want him to "get over" his trauma because Kakashi and Naruto did...

i'm always defending sasuke with very serious analysis but in all silliness i actually think ppl also hate him cuz hes so swagged out without even trying. like hoes really are just mad he's cool on top of all the politics, attitudes and behaviors he exhibits that they nitpick at and dislike. its gotta suck when the character you hate is still so naturally auraful and alluring despite everything you can't stand about them 😭

Maki Zenin is NOT Itachi Uchiha

​Itachi Uchiha isn’t a "tragic hero" he’s a glorified errand boy who did the government's laundry and called it a sacrifice. His "legendary" massacre wasn't some grand feat of strength; it was a coward’s hit job. He didn't have the guts to face his clan like a warrior. Instead, he waited for the sun to go down like a thief, sneaking into bedrooms to murder his own family while they were tucked in their beds. He didn't have a backbone; he had a script written by a corrupt government, and he followed it like a loyal dog while hiding behind the "greater good" to mask his own failure.

​Maki Zenin is the real deal. She didn’t need a midnight curfew or a secret mission to hold her hand. She walked through the front gates of the Zen'in estate in broad daylight and invited the smoke. She looked the elite "Hei" squad right in the eye and dismantled the entire clan without a partner, a cloak, or a single pathetic excuse. ​While Itachi spent his life moping in the rain and playing mental gymnastics with a traumatized kid, Maki was out there taking full accountability for her wrath. Itachi was a genocidal puppet who killed for the very system that despised him. Maki? She’s the puppeteer who burned the system that oppressed her and her sister to the ground.

I don't understand why people think Sasuke loving Itachi and forgiving him somehow makes Itachi a good person. No, it just shows how good of a person Sasuke is.

Imagine demanding an apology from a genocide survivor for not 'liking' the people who slaughtered his entire family. tbh Sasuke didn’t need a redemption arc because he wasn’t the problem the system was. He was right about the revolution, right about the village, and right about the Kage. Redemption is for people who screw up, not for the only guy who was right all along. You don't need to 'atone' for having a functioning brain in a village run by gaslighters or for trying to fix a trash system.

Sasuke’s devotion and love towards Itachi isn’t talked about enough- or, to be honest, I didn’t see anyone talk about it at all. He literally forgives Itachi for killing their entire fucking clan, including their parents & all the torture and abuse Itachi made him go through. The moment he learnt that Itachi was ordered to commit genocide, he, without a second thought, decided to dedicate his life to bring justice not only to the Uchiha clan - but to their murderer as well. Especially to their murderer. And after his last talk with Itachi he decided to understand and protect the same village that discriminated and ordered massacre of his ethnicity, instead of destroying it, because that’s what Itachi wanted and lived for. Itachi was Sasuke’s driving force to live since he was 7, and after Itachi’s death it didn’t change at all.
