"ti ... ti ... tikki!" little Ariana calls, innocent tone beaming with delight that courses through the rapid wave of her hand, all in hopes to grab his attention from across the courts. "--i m - m ... mi ... missed you, t - tikki!"

Practice. It wasn’t as bad as it could have been. Didn’t mean Tsukishima was enjoying it either. A rapidly waving hand however (and a ball to the face) changed that. “I’m fine.” He replied, waving off the others. Thankfully a break was called. Tsukishima was already crossing the courts. “Hey. I missed you too.” He was already kneeling, arms opening for a hug.

for your writing / tikki, i absolutely adore everything about him ! your portrayal aligns with canon so greatly & it’s truly admirable ! tikki’s personality shines brightly through your writing; you can literally FEEL the sarcasm course through the words akcmskx personally, from scanning through your interactions with others, i truly enjoy the way you write him with his team ! an important element to tsukishima ( at least, i feel so ! ) is that under all this bitterness is a want for greatness & an incredibly soft side, care for his team & their success ! i’m so glad you write this so beautifully into him ! SPEAKING of soft sides, i cannot help but to mention how much i ADORE the relationship we have created between tikki & ari ! it’s one of my all-time favorites & always will be; even if he’s snarky, he’s so caring to her ??? literally the best big bro to ever bro ! all our interactions make my heart MELT !

as for ooc / the apple of my eye, you are a TREASURE ! i know we don’t speak as often as we used to ( my apologies … this is totally on me x _ x i am v forgetful when i’m busy ;; ) know that i still lava you so much ! we’ve had sincere conversations & i’ve always enjoyed our personal talks, in addition to the ones where we build our muses relationship together & world build the verse ! you’re so smart & such a hard worker. i know things can be tough sometimes, but you are STRONG ! & they will always work themselves out 💕 apple is a sweetheart & a wonderful person to talk to. so creative & she lights up the conversation ! one of the EASIEST mun’s to approach in the history of roleplay, honestly & i’m soooo thankful for that !!! 🙏🙏

Despite the glitter getting all over his hands and cloths Tikki gladly accepted the hand made valentines. It was something he would put with the rest of the gifts he’d received from Ari. “Thank you Ari. I feel bad. I don’t have one for you.” He PRETENDED to look upset before pulling out a (store bought) spider man valentine with a little gel spider man mask attached that could be stuck to a widow or fridge or something along those lines. “But I do have this for you. Happy Valentines Day.”

wow this kid had a lot to learn, but she wasn’t going to be the one to teach him the joys of volleyball. he’d have to figure that out on his own. ‘well since you have so much time on your hands, shouldn’t you use that time to practice more?’ the girl quirked a brow over at him. ‘i’ve seen your game play, and if you want i’ll practice with you.’ she was pretty sure he’d decline but she offered her help any way. her energy is way calmer than his teammates so maybe he would acquiesce to the request.

That....was annoying. Why did everyone want to practice? He understood the need to get better. So many on the team were driven by that need but it didn’t consume his life like it did there’s. “I would rather not get an unnecessary injury because I didn’t take a rest day.” It was a nicer turn down then he’d offer most on his time but well he was still kind of embarrassed about how they started talking. Plus she wasn’t nearly as annoying at some of the others. “Do you spend every moment of your free time practicing?”

Kuroo jumped a bit at the sound of Tsukishima’s voice. He turned to see what he was referring to. He quickly poured the water into the tea cups and moved to take the wet clothes from Tsuikishima. “I’ll go wash them. Drink some tea.” His voice was soft but stern, not leaving room for discussion. He placed the clothes in the was and went ahead and set up the drying rack. 

Walking back to the kitchen he opened the fridge to see if his parents had left him food. “You should eat. I doubt you’ve eaten today knowing you.” He quickly heated up some rice and curry, setting it in front of the other boy. He moved and made sure the blinds were all closed to block out the lightning before turning on music. He didn’t want to acknowledge Tsuishima’s fear verbally, knowing that the first time he’d done that the boy had gotten pretty upset. 

Instead he focused on distraction. “Do you want to watch a movie? Or we can watch game tapes? I think I have  some Fukurodani games you might want to watch?”

Tsukishima sat, almost curled around the cup of tea, just blankly staring at it. He startled at Kuroo’s voice. He opened his mouth to tell the other he wasn’t hungry but finally took a sip of the tea instead. It didn’t matter that Kuroo was correct. He’d been planning at stopping at a bakery on the way home before the rain set in.

The music helped him relax, tension bleeding out of his shoulders slowly. It took a second for the question to register in his brain. “A movies fine.” He mumbled and cleared his throat trying to get it work like he wanted. “I don’t think I’m up for one of Bokuto right now.” He kept expecting Kuroo to ask about it. It made Tsukishima nervous waiting for the teasing or the prodding and questions. Yamaguchi was the only one out side of his family who knew.

Would your mom be okay with it?” He grinned knowing Tsukki’s mom loved him almost as much as she loved her own sons. “We can marathon Jurassic Park since we don’t have practice tomorrow…and I doubt you’ll want to practice serves with me?” He let out an awkward laugh, hand resting on the back of his head. He moved to eat another fry, enjoying the gesture of friendship. He’d done his best to show Tsukki that he appreciated it by offering up the dinosaur movie marathon.  

“She’ll be fine with it.” His mom had been dropping hints all week it would be ok for Yamaguchi to spend the night. She even went as far as saying it’d been a while since she’d last seen him. “We can practice if you want.” He gave a halfhearted shrug. Tsukshima could see that Yamaguchi wanted to practice but wouldn’t push it. The blocker couldn’t say he wanted to practice exactly but he also knew they watched whatever he wanted pretty much every time. He could deal with it this way. Make it seem like it wasn’t  big deal.
